She saves Rochester from a fire one night, which he claims was started by a drunken servant named Grace Poole. But because Grace Poole continues to work at Thornfield, Jane concludes that she has not been told the entire story. Jane sinks into despondency when Rochester brings home a beautiful but vicious woman named Blanche Ingram. Jane expects Rochester to propose to Blanche. But Rochester instead proposes to Jane, who accepts almost disbelievingly.

The wedding day arrives, and as Jane and Mr. Rochester prepare to exchange their vows, the voice of Mr. Mason cries out that Rochester already has a wife. Mason introduces himself as the brother of that wife—a woman named Bertha. Mr. Mason testifies that Bertha, whom Rochester married when he was a young man in Jamaica, is still alive. Rochester does not deny Mason’s claims, but he explains that Bertha has gone mad. He takes the wedding party back to Thornfield, where they witness the insane Bertha Mason scurrying around on all fours and growling like an animal. Rochester keeps Bertha hidden on the third story of Thornfield and pays Grace Poole to keep his wife under control. Bertha was the real cause of the mysterious fire earlier in the story. Knowing that it is impossible for her to be with Rochester, Jane flees Thornfield.

Penniless and hungry, Jane is forced to sleep outdoors and beg for food. At last, three siblings who live in a manor alternatively called Marsh End and Moor House take her in. Their names are Mary, Diana, and St. John （pronounced “Sinjin”） Rivers, and Jane quickly becomes friends with them. St. John is a clergyman, and he finds Jane a job teaching at a charity school in Morton. He surprises her one day by declaring that her uncle, John Eyre, has died and left her a large fortune: 20,000 pounds. When Jane asks how he received this news, he shocks her further by declaring that her uncle was also his uncle: Jane and the Riverses are cousins. Jane immediately decides to share her inheritance equally with her three newfound relatives.

St. John decides to travel to India as a missionary, and he urges Jane to accompany him—as his wife. Jane agrees to go to India but refuses to marry her cousin because she does not love him. St. John pressures her to reconsider, and she nearly gives in. However, she realizes that she cannot abandon forever the man she truly loves when one night she hears Rochester’s voice calling her name over the moors. At Ferndean, Rochester and Jane rebuild their relationship and soon marry. At the end of her story, Jane writes that she has been married for ten blissful years and that she and Rochester enjoy perfect equality in their life together. She says that after two years of blindness, Rochester regained sight in one eye and was able to behold their first son at his birth.

Spring is my favourite season. At that time, every day is full of vitality.

祥子的一生坎坷曲折，有起有落。原本是有目标，体面的拉车夫，但经过大多事情后，也由积极向上、努力奋斗转化为自甘堕落、庸俗的拉车夫。造成这种结果的原因有很多种，比如说，当时的黑暗社会、祥子的梦想一次又一次的被打破，由希望到绝望。祥子的一生只是当时一个社会的缩影。但他仍是我敬佩的一个人。

祥子是一个积极向上、有理想的人。他有着自己心中的追求，对买车的执着，婚姻与家庭的美好向往，若非现实将他打击的体无完肤，鲜血淋淋，他不一定就会自甘堕落，好占便宜，又如行尸走肉一般。“整整的三年，他凑足了一百块钱。”想拥有属于自己的车，他就兢兢业业，努力赚钱，短短的三年，却耗费了无数的辛苦与血泪。而支持他三年来不言放弃，依旧拼搏的是他心中对车的执着。因为心中有目标，所以只顾风雨兼程，忍受无数的黑暗与磨难，最终才赢得了属于自己的成功。

我读《呐喊》，正读到《孔乙几》。虽然先前读过此文，但在《呐喊》所营造的气氛下，那个可悲又可笑的孔乙几仿佛又增添了许多凄惨的色彩。

讲到孔乙几，就想起中国的教育。清朝末年，有些人读的是天子重英豪，文章叫尔曹。万般皆下品，唯有读书高的《神童诗》，透着读书人的光荣；有些人读的是混沌初开，重浊者凝而为地的《幼学琼林》，教着做古文的滥调。这些所谓的教科书，从古到今真不知变化了多少。

而据说是减轻学生的负担，之所以说据说，那是因为似乎并未波及到我。可是吃中饭时发现，弟弟妹妹们似乎是受益匪浅，方才明白初三学生已是超越学生的范畴了。此时再度孔乙几的争辩：读书人的事……反倒欣慰不少。

吃过晚饭后，大大问起：今年暑假作业多吗？我站立起来，看着未完成的作业，摇头道：不多不多！多乎哉？不多也。

今天已经是11号了，再过几天就要到学校补课去了。下午我从邻居小孩手里用几个棒棒糖回了一本小说《一件小事》。在这篇小说中的那个我第一次看到车夫，一个普通劳动者的`高尚品质，心中虽然是在深思和反省，然而当巡警来了，我又抓出一大把铜元送给他。我既已发现自己的渺小，怎能把自己放在评判车夫的位置上呢？车夫的行为又是否能用金钱来衡量呢？况且，一把铜元就能解决车夫的问题，洗去自己的错误吗？自然不能，而我也因此不能回答自己。

爱钱的人往往信奉财然而就是这个财神在《财神传奇》中却说：勤劳加诚实的品质不是金钱能够买来的。那些认为钱是万能的人，一切向钱看的人总是自诩为聪明的人，鲁迅先生却说：世界却由愚人造成，聪明人决不能支撑世界……奉劝那些人听听财神的话吧！

读书，不仅丰富了知识，而且使人明白人生哲理。

这段日子总算是闲下来了，有机会浸入书中世界了。我欣喜异常，翻开鲁迅的《朝花夕拾》，进入文字的波涛中，触及先生的灵魂所在……

早闻鲁迅先生的文字是一把刀，锋利无比。今日之见，果然名不虚传，这文字，威力极强，深深刺入敌人的要害。

最喜《狗·猫·鼠》这篇文章，感叹其灵活的语言运用以及立意的深刻，时不时地向腐朽的封建统治和黑暗的军阀势力，施以“冷箭”。老鼠，一种弱小的动物，在动物世界里，属于弱势群体。它们，虽然迫于生活偶尔出格，但它们从不干些伤天害理的事，却常常遭遇“猫警官”们的“严刑逼供”，但无人愿为他们伸张正义，因为它们是弱者。被欺压，正常!

我不禁陷入沉思，联想到了那时的旧社会，军阀当道，租界遍地。社会的黑暗，腐朽落后。有千千万万的百姓，生活在水深火热中。可有当局者探访民间疾苦?没有!那些贴着“正人君子”标签的统治者，只不过是一个个戴着这虚伪面具的暴戾剥削者。他们以要改变中国落后的面貌为借口，大肆征集税收，搜刮民脂，来满足自己的私心，不管底层百姓的一片怨声载道。

鲁迅先生的这篇文章虽然寥寥几页，却针针见血，发人深醒。在这个世界上，“弱肉强食”是亘古不变的”丛林法则”。佛家有云：“众生平等”。但在那个年代，依旧存在着腐朽的封建等级制度。老百姓处于社会底层，就如同鲁迅笔下的隐鼠一般不见天日;而军阀统治者之流的猫们却摆出一副高高在上的姿态，依仗自己的强大，欺压善民。殊不知，他们也不过是一群欺软怕硬的无能之辈罢了。

如今我们正处于和平的年代，虽然没有当时的军阀统治，百姓也安居乐业了，相比当初人们的思想观念，“众生平等”的理念也渐渐地深入到人们的灵魂中。

也许是那个年代唤醒了现在人们的灵魂吧!

我总是喜欢看完书籍后，再随手翻翻家里订阅的报刊。份数不多，几张报纸，几本文学杂志和科普杂志，而这随手翻翻，有时却比看名著还重要。

名著是我们的精神粮食，而报刊则是有助于消化的小点心。我喜欢看书，文学，数学，科普，历史，报刊等，什么都看，其中最喜欢的，还是报刊。拿到一份报纸，开始“跳读”，快速浏览完主要标题，再选择自己喜欢的栏目，细细地看，如同茫茫人海中，找到久别重逢的朋友，在一起细诉衷肠。

报刊中，我最喜欢的莫过于《读者》了，里面的一个小故事总能引出一个大道理，这样更能让我理解这道理的含义，且让我收益良多，因为这些道理指引我更好地处理生活中的一些小事，跟身边人的相处艺术，不仅是这，还有《读者》的题目，总能激发我的写作灵感，在考场上文思泉涌，拟出好题目，写作好，从而得到了高分。曾获得第五届“浩然杯”全国小学生现场写作大赛浙江省二等奖。

如果说，名著将大道理反复论述，如同父亲的一个拥抱，是深沉地父爱；那么，阅读报刊，不仅提高了我的写作能力，更拓展了我的知识面，天文地理，人情世故等，将大道理蕴含在小故事上，如同一个母亲的谆谆教导，是温柔地母爱。这份爱正慢慢地渗入到我的骨髓。

好读书，读好书，读书好，阅读伴我一路成长。
