Little Prince

This is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to The Bible. It’s been translated to versions of many other languages. And I gather there must be something special, something really great about it. It’s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. Well, with due respect to the author, I failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.

Anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain it’s position. And it’s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. I will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.

This book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. The prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. Before he came to the earth, little prince had been  to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. The first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. The second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether it’s sincere or not. The third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that he’s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. The fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. Next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. The last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. These six people each represented one kind of person like us. The author satirized people’s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.

I see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of people’s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. People are supposed to care about each other, cherish what’s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that they’ve gained. We all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. But we may sometimes lose the right to  speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what we’ve experienced. That why in our middle school textbooks, it’s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying ”but mum, he ain’t were anything”.

When I was a child, I was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without mom’s permission. And now I am a grown-up, and still I am a good man, at least, that’s what I heard. Sometimes when I was lonely and I began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free

life came back to me as it were yesterday. Kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and I myself am a child no more.  Thinking about all these things have made me moody. 我读《呐喊》，正读到《孔乙几》。虽然先前读过此文，但在《呐喊》所营造的气氛下，那个可悲又可笑的孔乙几仿佛又增添了许多凄惨的色彩。

我读过不少的书，虽然在古今中外的书堆里，这所谓不少也者，还不过是大海中一点浪花，但在我自己的记忆中，这也不算是个小数目了。在这不少的书中间，本刊编者要我举出我所最爱读的书名来谈谈，这却很难说了。在我的记忆中，可能有些爱读的书，但那一本是我最爱读的，这个选择却无从效命了。

现在，让我来拟定几个标准：（一）、如果说，凡是读得遍数最多的、就是最爱读的。那么，我应当举出《水浒传》来，这是小时候炒过七八遍冷饭的（吾乡俚谓重读旧书曰炒冷饭）。然而论语，史记，诗经，楚辞之类，我也何止看过七八遍，到如今我并不以为那是最爱读的书。所以这个标准靠不住。（二）、如果说对我印象最深的书就是最爱读的书，那么，我应当举出赵景深译的《柴霍甫短篇小说集》和李青崖译的《莫泊桑短篇小说集》来，但我并不觉得对它们有多大的爱。（三）、如果说，我常常带在身边的书就是我最爱读的书，那么，我应当举出一部《词林记事》来，但是，一部《康熙字典》也同样地跟了我二十年，你以为我最爱读《康熙字典》吗？

我想，最好让我来谈谈我所爱读的书，如果编者更宽容一些，最好把一个读字也删掉。真的，有些书是我所爱的，但并不是为了读。不过，现在是在读的范围之内，找寻几种可以说是我所爱的，先从诗说起。Leeb典丛书里的《希腊诗选》palqrave的《英诗金库》和Monroe与Henderson合编的《新诗选》，这三本都是好书，可以说是我所喜欢的，也是随时翻读的。我常常想在中国诗选中找三本能够抵得过这三本外国诗的，诗经勉强可以抵得了《希腊诗选》，沈德潜的《古诗源》加上徐陵的《玉台新咏》只好抵《英诗金库》的半本，唐以后诗的选本就没有可以满意的了。况且我们还有词，而词的选本也着实不容易推举出一种满意的来。至于现代的新诗，可怜到现在还没有一个赶得上《新诗选》十分之一的选本。

在小说这方面，我喜欢梅里美的《嘉尔曼》（近来有人译做卡门，我很厌这两个字），高莱特的《米佐》，安特森的《俄亥俄州温斯堡小城的故事》，以及上文曾经说起过的柴霍甫及莫泊桑的短篇小说，还有耿济之译的高尔基的《俄罗斯浪游漫记》。我不很喜欢长篇小说，所以这里开列出来的都是中篇和短篇。在中国小说部分，《水浒传》以外，当然应该推举《儒林外史》了。但这两本书对于我的兴味，实在还赶不上《清平山堂话本》。

关于散文的书，我想提起的只有两本外国人的著作，而且都是英国人的。一本是乔治?吉辛的《亨利?雷克洛夫随笔》，现在我们有了李霁野的译本，题名《四季随笔》（台湾省编辑馆印行）。另外一本是小说家莫姆的《西班牙印象记》，这不是莫姆的代表作，许多人几乎忘记了有这么一本书，但是我却觉得它挺好。在中国古典方面，我以为《洛阳伽蓝记》是第一本散文，以下就得推到宋人的许多题跋了。李笠翁的《闲情偶寄》可取得者不过十之一二，鼎鼎大名的《浮生六记》我却不敢恭维，觉得苏州才子气太洋溢了。近人著作则沈从文的《湘西》与《湘行散记》都不错，但这两本关于湘西的散文实在抵不上作者的一本小说《边城》。废名的《枣》倒是一本极好的散文，虽则人家都把它算作小说。梁遇春的《春醪集》，我们也不应该让它被冷落下去，它可以与钱钟书的《写在人生边上》并读。这两本都是英国式的散文，在冲淡和闲雅这一点上，钱君似乎犹去梁一间。

以上所提的书，可以说是我的爱读书的一部分。也许还只是一小部分，偶尔拈得，略叙如此，并非敢在作者之林中，把其余一切好书都抹杀者。在我个人，爱读书与爱的书之间，我的感情还是特别爱好着那些爱的书。将来有机会，也许会在本刊上与读者诸君谈谈我那些极爱好而并不为了读的书籍。

My Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

在书中我们看见黛玉哭是家常便饭，这也是可以理解的。当然，她哭大多数是为了宝玉。宝玉几天没来看她了，她只是哭;她看见宝钗和宝玉在一块说话，也回去坐着哭。“不是闷坐，就是长叹，好端端的不知为什么，常是自泪不干的。”我经常想：这个泪人儿，她有多少眼泪啊?可不可以快点流干就不要哭了?但是有什么办法呢?她是生活在一个封建大家庭里。她对贾宝玉爱得真诚，爱得执著，始终如一，至死靡它。而宝玉虽然也爱她，但没她表现得那么热切。而且，他们的爱情又是在不许爱的环境中发生、发展和生存的，这就难免有痛苦，甚至要为爱情付出生命的代价。再加上她诗人的气质和悲剧的性格，这种被压抑的燃烧着的爱情，只能用诗和哭来抒发。林黛玉的哭，分明饱含着现实人生的血肉。哭是她悲剧性格的重要表现形式之一：哭，是她对生活折磨的强烈反映;哭，是她发泄痛苦的方式;哭，是她诗人气质的种种感受的抒发。她是为自己的爱情而哭，为自己的命运而哭。

后来，林黛玉终于结束了她悲惨的一生。这对她不失为一个解脱，想想除此之外，她还能过上好日子吗?

能在沉醉在儿时的天真散漫中了，少了几分亲切，少了几分自由，也少了几分对大自然的热爱。

童年已渐渐遥远，留下的只是那些琐碎的记忆，倒不如细读一下《朝花夕拾》，体会以下那个不同的年代的童年之梦，体验一下当时鲁迅的美好童年。

《朝花夕拾》原本叫做“旧事重提”，收录了鲁迅先生记述他童年和青年生活片段的10篇文章。本应该快乐美丽的童年，因为笼罩在那个封建社会，时不时透出些迂腐的气息，所以鲁迅要骂，骂那个半封建半殖民地的社会。从文章表面看，鲁迅似乎都是用了些温情的文字，其实，他把愤怒藏得更深。有人说柔软的舌头是最伤人的武器，也许鲁迅先生正是想达到这个目的吧!

在《朝花夕拾》中，鲁迅大量使用了对比和讽刺的手法。如在《从百草园到三味书屋》中，鲁迅首先使用了许多鲜亮的文字记叙在百草园无忧无虑的生活，接着再写道“我”不得不告别百草园去三味书屋上学。前边写的百草园很好地反衬了后来在三味书屋读书的乏味生活，体现了鲁迅对旧社会私塾的不满。在《藤野先生》中，鲁迅日本的医学导师藤野先生是一位穿着不拘小节的人，“这藤野先生，据说是穿衣服太模糊了，有时竟会忘记带领结;冬天是一件旧外套，寒颤颤的……”。但藤野先生对工作是极其认真的，他把“我”的讲义都用红笔添改过了;血管移了一点位置也要指出。这个对比手法，较好地写出了藤野先生的高贵品质，写出了鲁迅对他的景仰。另外，藤野先生对中国留学生孜孜不倦的教诲及对学生的一视同仁，这与日本学生对中国学生的轻蔑态度形成了鲜明的对比，体现出藤野先生是个真正的君子。

鲁迅在《朝花夕拾》中对一个人用了相当多的笔墨，那便是鲁迅的保姆“长妈妈”，她是个需要一分为二看待的人。因为社会的影响，“阿长”保留了许多迂腐的习俗，像在新年的早晨要吃福橘，喜欢切切察察，喜欢告状，还盲目地对“长毛”的故事妄加评论，甚至还踩死了“我”喜爱的隐鼠。因此，“我”对她怀恨在心。看到这，读者在脑子里勾勒出的是一个活脱脱粗俗、守旧的妇女形象。然而，鲁迅对她的印象远不止这些。她有可爱的一面。

“阿长”知道“我”喜欢《山海经》，跑了许多路，帮“我”买来了《山海经》。由此，“我”又认为她“有伟大的神力”。在《阿长与山海经》的结尾，鲁迅表达了他对阿长的爱，他希望仁慈的地母能让阿长安息。

My favorite subject is English,because it is a useful and interesting language.With the 2010 World Expo drawing near, English is certain to be very useful then,as it can help us communicate with foreign guests.Now,in order to improve my English level,I read English 30 for minutes every day.. 近日读老舍的《骆驼祥子》，带给我感触最深的就是“祥子把车卖了，钱就跟流水似的，哗哗地往外流，怎么也堵不住”，从虎妞离世，祥子卖车开始，祥子的梦想基本宣告破灭。而在最后，小福子的死讯，像一阵急流残忍地冲去了祥子的最后一根救命稻草，像一只阴森的长手掐折了祥子的最后一丝念想，像一把快刀毫不留情地斩断了祥子唯一尽自己所能好好上进生活下去的希望。从那开始，祥子开始堕落，他吃喝嫖赌，他随波逐流，实际上，此时的祥子不再是祥子，而是一个仅仅在大街上游荡的行尸走肉。

其实祥子在此前还有机会，许多人会说，如果他再圆滑变通一些，不为曹先生看家守户，而是自己带上积蓄逃跑，或许，他的钱就不会被孙侦探卷走，或许，他的目标就能实现。

但是，木已成舟，没有或许。

实际上，祥子的梦想很简单：有一辆属于自己的车，安分守己的拉着车，不关心其他事情，只求温饱。祥子的梦想不是像某些人那样轰轰烈烈，他仅仅希望能够自食其力，不为外界所烦扰。

祥子错了。他正如同和他同龄的许多人一样，如一匹桀骜不驯的烈马，好高骛远。在那个军阀混战，统治黑暗的年代里，一个普通的下层市民，想要脱离当时那等级严密，高等阶层拼命压榨下等阶层的年代里，祥子的“有一辆自己的车”的梦想，简直难于上青天。最终，在不同人的欺压下，一个想凭借自己力气吃饭的，创造属于自己生活的个体劳动者，就这样在不可抗拒的黑暗势力的打击下，走上了堕落的道路。精神上的毁灭，终于把祥子这个“铁打的”人的“铁打的”精神给碾压得粉身碎骨。

当然，这些都是我们后人的总结。祥子，这个虚构的人物，作为当时旧中国亿万万劳动人民的缩影，向我们反映着当时的社会现状。祥子的愿望就像农民拥有土地的愿望一样，仅仅是一个普通劳动者希望获得生产资料的简单愿望，但是这个简单的愿望，在当时的社会状况下，只会是一个奢望。在他实现愿望的过程中，他历经了三起三落，饱经摧残与委屈，他希望脱离车厂的约束，独立自主，过上属于自己的生活，但这些终不可得，最终祥子由一名优秀的人力车夫堕落成一个行尸走肉。祥子的悲剧不是偶然的，他是当时那个变态的黑暗社会的牺牲品，或者说，当时那个黑暗社会，是祥子堕落的催化剂。

春意盎然，夏日绵绵，秋风习习，冬日可爱，我在不同的时节里，享受着读书的乐趣。

“书”这个字眼时大家都非常熟悉的，生活处处见书；书城，书店，书屋，书刊，课本教材书……书是人来最好的老师和朋友。

我极喜欢阅读课外书，古人云“开卷有益，诗圣杜甫也曾经说：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”是的，书带给我的知识很多，从中获得的乐趣也不小。

“书是人类进步的阶梯。”从幼年时，书就与我结下了不解之缘。《白雪公主》《灰姑娘》《丑小鸭》《海的女儿》等一些童话故事是我上幼儿园时亲密的伙伴。每天，我都吵着让大人们一遍一遍地给我念着，我不断地提出一些疑问，所以，《十万个为什么》就在这个时候成了小书柜里的一员。

“书中自有黄金屋”在小学时，我对书更为痴狂。除了学校的课本之外，更多的课外书也加入了我的书库。《海底两万里》是在我第一次见到大海时爸爸妈妈送我的，让我不仅知道了大海的美丽，也让我了解了大海深处的秘密。《小天使海蒂》令我感到了海蒂与爷爷幸福生活的情景。《高老头》向我讲述了一位老人悲惨的故事。《淘气包马小跳》《意林》令我感动、兴奋、悲伤。《草房子》是我更加了解了乡下的生活。

带着这种对书的热爱，我登上了初中的旅程，《城南旧事》是我上初中读的第一本书，英子的天真，善良深深地打动了我。《西游记》《三国演义》《水浒传》《红楼梦》更是让我获得了无穷的乐趣。《昆虫记》让我了解了另一个人类不知道的世界。《呼兰河传》令我知道了东北农村的习俗与环境。

十三年来，书无时无刻在伴随着我。好书，无时无刻不在激励着我。《上下五千年》《明朝那些事儿》《史记》《唐史演义》《宋史演义》及一些有关中国历史的书，令我爱不释手，中国文化悠久，有着多姿多彩的历史，令我很骄傲，自豪。

有一段时间《哈利。波特》《历险的天使》《侦探少年冒险记》之类的书把我迷住了，不分时间地点就看。导致学习成绩下降。这才知道，科幻小说是水潭，只可蜻蜓点水，不可涉及太深，否则会沉入水底。
