In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. Under this circumstance, I never expect my University life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. When weekends come, everyone is happy about that, because they don’t need

to work and can do what they want. Some people will choose to stay at home and

watch TV all the time, some will choose to go shopping, while for me, I’d like

The first thing I notice is the workload.It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before.The major challenges of college work are large volume of reading,short deadlines,and “endless” writing.A related effect that can be brought on by the workload is doubt,frustration,and loneliness if possible.

On some of those long,seemingly endless nights of studying and writing,it will be very natural for me to long for fine old days.Hang in there.These down periods will pass.

I even start to think about my future.Going to college is as much about finding out who am I as it is about getting the degree.

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I
