However,other people think it unnecessary to consider environmental problems now and our first priority should always be given to economic development.They believe that environmental problems are inevitable and unavoidable in the process of economic development.They are only the by products of economic development,which can be dealt with later when we have the time and money.

I think the second idea is completelywrong.Our ultimate aim in economic development is to provide a comfortable and happy life for our people.What is the point of economic development if we achieve it at the cost of our environment?There has been much evidence to prove that a balance between the two helps more rapid and continuous development.

Chinese people are now face to a serious problem--pollution. And this problem is a little bit different from others--the goverment can not solve it by themselves. Guangzhou sport university was founded in October 1958, it is one of the oldest sports university founded in China.The first time I entered the campus as a freshman, I was deeply attracted by her cultural atmosphere and historical connotation. I enjoy my life here.The accommodation, canteen, library and some other living conditions.

The accommodation service of our university has gained in acceptance increasingly because of its high quality and relatively low expense. But the dorm often without water. I hope that the school can find a solution as soon as possible so that we had on the day of water. Moreover our library contains a large variety of books. In it you will find both literary and scientific and technical and sports books in Chinese and in foreign languages.We often go to look for books which we want to borrow or to read articles which we like to consult.Our library provides all useful reading matter and reference materials according to our needs.Otherwise, canteen service is pretty good. So we need not worry that we would lose our appetite when far away from home. The varieties of the food are so wide that we can enjoy differently delicious dish every day. 创建环保模范城市，使其整洁、美丽、宜居，需要我们的广泛参与，需要有众多像刘建雄这样的热心环保、甘愿为环保献计出力的志愿者。我想我们以主人翁姿态献“点子”动脑子，也包括动手干、出力气，还包括不断宣传环保意识、从我做起纠正污染环境的坏习气，使防“污”于未“染”的行为蔚然成风。

我的环保计策是我们普通人在日常工作和生活中，要自觉努力做到不乱泼、乱倒、乱吐、乱扔、乱贴、乱画等，这不仅是环保的基本要求，而更能体现一个城市居民较高的道德水准、公益素质、思想修养。反之，不但使环境受到污染，也会让城市整体形象受到“污染”。

Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. The pollution of water is equally harmful. The whole ecological balance of the sea is being changed and industrial wastes have already made many rivers lifeless.

Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence. Indifference to these problems will mean committing suicide. Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve environment. Otherwise,man is certain to suffer from the serious consequences caused by this lack of care for his living surroundings.

大沙河以前，水清澈见底水中虾鱼成群，自从雪晶公司开始排污，河道中臭水横流，臭气弥漫。使原本造福临泽，养育临泽的河，成了一个破坏临泽环境，毁坏临泽面貌的“祸河”。 大沙河东岸有一片土地，以前土地肥沃，草木茂盛，如今，土地荒芜，寸草不生，成了一片荒地。

造成这一切的原因是什么？

一：是工厂责任人不负责任。

二：是工厂为了省钱，不加以及时有效的处理。

三：县有关部门不重视。

为了使临泽这个远近闻名的枣乡更加美丽，我提出以下建议：

一：加大打击力度，对污染环境的工厂，进行教育，批评，罚款。如果不整改，就封厂，关门。

二：领导带头，公民参加一起抓。

三：协调工厂，多在环保方面下功夫。

四：把一些有关领导进行思想教育。避免弄虚作假的形象发生，要从根本上解决问题。

五：把一些不接受教育，依旧弄虚作假者，给予行政处分，撤职等。

The destruction which is caused by human beings has aroused people’s concern all over the world. If we pay no heed to the present destructive human activities, our planet will become of tomb instead of cozy home. What’s more, we should realize that only from our planet can we obtain our sheltering, food, cloth and so forth.

Counter-measures must be taken to curb the destruction caused by human beings. Most importantly, laws must be established to punish those who are involved in destructive conducts.

It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of being an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve。

Because of the differences in environmental policies， resources and technology， international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology。 By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems， the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed。 Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole。

One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed， the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international mission elected by the participating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by the standards established。

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

As part of the same planet， it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment。 Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment。

There have been many environmental protection problems in recent years . One of the most serious problem is greenhouse gas emissions have caused climate change ,At the same time ,lots of trees have been used and wasted.So our earth is becoming warmer and warmer . .That brings us illnesses and death.

Luckily ，,many countries have done a lot to stop environmental pollution。Its the most important in the environmental protection today.

In my opinion ,on the one hand ,through education we should make people realize that destroying the environment means destroying ourselves,..On the other hand ,we should try to do something to produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
