I used to study in library because it’s learning environment is very good and it has many kinds of books, but seats are limited; I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made more friends and actived in many extracurricular activities in union, but it often took a lot of time; I like my dormitory best. I shared my happiness and sorrows with my room-mates and I relaxed myself sufficiently in it. But the condition of my dormitory is poor. Above all, University is my unforgettable place. I spent most of my extra-study time in library. Generally speaking, It is a good study place. Firstly, the atmosphere of study is strong, but sometimes someone would receive and make calls, which would impact others’ study. If it can provide a few of fountains, the library would be perfect. Secondly, it has abundant of professional books, thus I can access to needed information timely when I encountered problems in study.

Besides, there are also all kinds of magazine, so I can relax myself and expand my vision when I was tired of studying. But the limited time of borrowed books is short. Last but not least, the seats are limited, which disturbed me very much. I had to go to the library line up very early just for seat. 提到“老严”，我们班无一人不惧他也。到他的课，我们都早已安安静静地坐在教室，真可谓是“满坐寂然，无敢哗者”。我们之所以这样做，是为了能准确判断“老严”到哪里了。“老严”到四楼时都会习惯性的咳嗽几声，这是他大驾将至的标志，不到五秒，你准会看到一个如风一样的老头准时出现在教室门口。

在“老严”上课时，他绝对要求教室安静无声，以便都能专心听讲，全部接受信息。他所说的“无声”，就是针掉在地上你能听到很响的声音，这就是老严的第一点魅力。厉害吧！

还有更绝的，“老严”的课堂警示语是“3、2、1”，每当他念出这三个数字时 ，所有人连反抗的欲望都没有，简单来说，就是对他的所有命令都只能乖乖就范，不折不扣执行，这真的很神奇，很有魔力。

不单是他的课，所有课他都要求这样做到规范认真，这不由得让我想起语文老师那个“大坏人”。居然跟“老严”贯彻一样的方针。读书、背书紧盯我们不放。完成不好还用一组排比句骂我们。我想这是老严的第二点魅力，他精诚团结所有科任老师一起来征服我们。

我们的“老严”有一句最经典的自创名言“硬功夫+carefully”，它的意思是实力加细心。可我们做作业时常忽略细节，所以让他很生气，生气过后，他还是会语重心长的告诉我们“细节决定成败”的道理。从开学到现在，这样的理念不仅深入内心，可以说是深入了我们每一个人的骨髓。所以，我们在逐渐改掉以前那些坏习惯。他还戏谑着说道；“上帝给我们两只耳朵，两只眼睛，一张嘴，目的是让我们每个人多听，多看，少说。”老严这样的理念，我认为也是有巨大魅力的。

这就是“老严”，我的老班，一个无时无刻不散发出无穷有魅力的英语老师。

英语曹专教《新概念英语》这本书。课本上三节课的内容，听说她一节课就上完了，而且学生还喜欢上她的课，在她的课上没有谁能走得了神！

我听了一直不信，这回非要亲自去上她的课。第一天上课时她就穿一身灰：灰大衣就像斗篷，灰帽子上还有几个褶，就像扬州灌汤包，穿着一双灰靴子，还戴着一副细边眼镜。如果再加上银白的胡子，那就是魔法学校的校长阿不思。登不利多了！

一上课，我就领略到英语曹的特点了。她上课从不是等学生举手再点名回答的。在她的课上回答问题从不用举手，要么直接站起来，要么就是地毯式提问，她的手挥到哪一排，那一整排的学生就是一个紧接一个机关枪扫射似得迅速回答，常常头一个还没说完，后一个都蹦起来了。没跟上的则站着再说一遍。大家一站一起，像在玩打地鼠一样，掀起一层波浪。这样就像铺地毯一样，哪个角落的学生回答不上？这样精神高度紧张，学生哪有走神的时间。既能让每个人都回答，又加快回答的时间，充大一节课的容量。能不一下上完三节课吗？

英语曹除了课上得快，记单词也快。她常常用谐音或小故事来记。像国籍这个单词，被她用谐音记成奶昔奶利提她说这像一种糖的名字，我们对甜食感兴趣就会记得快。比如通常这个词她是这样记的usua就是有儿有女，因为这个人既生男孩又女孩，所以后面lly就是他高兴笑得直打嗝。有时她为了让我们记忆深刻，让我们边做动作边记，她自己甚至会在讲台上挑起舞来。经过她这样声情并茂的记法，记单词果然不费事了。

她不仅教得快，且风趣幽默，语言丰富。她看有的同学并不认真学，就用满口的淮南方言说：你们要是不学，为什么还交钱来上课？就像你去买菜，你对卖菜的说只把钱扔给他，不拿走菜，根本不管菜一样，傻不傻。同学们听了都笑了。

有这么个英语老师，你有什么理由不喜欢英语？这不就是老师中的刷子李吗？

[作文随笔：我的英语老师

“叮铃铃”早读铃响了，我们的英语老师走进课室，说“请大家拿出书本早读。”

早读开始了，我们齐刷刷的拿出书本，开始读第一单元，就在这时，只见英语老师突然的用手拍了一下桌子，说“：伍文翔，你在干嘛。“我们一看，哦，原来伍文翔又没有带英语书，而且还在座位玩手指。伍文翔好像没有听到老师说的话一样，还在座位继续玩手指，英语老师看到这个情况，火气马上从肚子直接升到头顶，火冒三丈的向伍文翔走去，伍文翔看到这里时，马上不玩手指，乖乖的坐好，可是，英语老师还是怒气冲冲，在伍文翔面前大声的说”：你在干嘛。“伍文翔说“：我忘记带书本。”英语老师听到这句话后，大发雷霆，大声的吼伍文翔说“：你没有带书本，不会和同学一起看吗？要在那里玩手指”伍文翔说“：我不是和梁晓彤一起看吗？”英语老师听到这句话后，脸涨得红彤彤的，说“：你们离得这么远，怎么看，你有望远镜吗？”伍文翔看到老师的脸色，变得面如土色，英语老师拿着一根棍子用力的去打伍文翔的手，英语老师打完伍文翔之后，伍文翔坐在座位大声的哭，英语老师又大声的对我们说”以后谁要是和伍文翔一样，上课做别的东西的话，就和伍文翔一样的下场。”

这就是我们的英语老师发火的时候。

A new year,a new start, when I stand on the edgeof a new year, I cant help thinking about my plan of next year.

Just as the old saying:"Well began is thehalf of the success.” So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing, and then,at the beginning,Im quicker than the others and ofcourse I will get better result than the others.

But, what I really decide to do is that I must make good of any time I can spare though it seems impossible. While,I will do my best to live up with what I have planned, and the result will prove it.

It is believed that education is an important way to improve citizens’ cultivation, as education is so vital, our government pays special attention on education, many policies have been advocated, college enrollment is on way of expanding, it is a good phenomenon for students, while the expansion also has negative side.

人们相信教育是提高城市居民素养的重要重要方法，正因为教育如此的重要，我们政府特别注重教育，提出了很多的方针，大学扩招正在进行中，这对学生来说是好的现象，然而扩招也有负面。

On the one hand, college expansion gives students more chances to get higher education. In China, there is a large population, every child should be educated according to the government’s policy, teenagers are forced to get education before high school. But every student wants to go to college and get the high education, they must pass the college entrance exam, still many students don’t have the chances. The expansion provides students more hopes, more students can have the chances to go to college.

一方面，大学扩招给学生带来了接受高等教育的更多机会。在中国存在很多人口，每个孩子都应该接受政府政策式的教育，青少年被强制接受九年教育。但是每个学生都想要上大学，接受高等教育，他们必须通过高考，但是仍然有很多同学没有上大学的机会。扩招给学生带来了希望，更多学生可以有机会上大学。

On another hand, the expansion also means the lower standard for students to go to college, which won’t bring students good teaching resource. For the purpose of making money, some schools lower their standard, they don’t make the relative change, thus not every student can have the fair chance to use the resource. This is not good for the improvement of the students.

另一方面，扩招同时意味着学生进大学的门槛的降低，这不会给学生带来好的教育资源。为了挣钱，一些学校降低了标准，它们不做出相应的改变，这样并不是每个学生都能有公平的机会去享受资源。这对学生的提高是不好的。

The expansion of college enrollment is good for students, while the government should supervise the schools to improve their teaching resource.

大学的扩招对学生来说是好的，然而政府应该监督学校去提高他们的教育资源。

I would like to thank you for all the help you gave me during this past semester. You were alway so patient when I asked you questions. You listened to them carefully and explained everything so thoroughly. You showed me different ways to practice and remember new words and usage. I felt so encouraged and became more comfortable in speaking English. You made the excercise so interesting that I was always very eager to participate and practice. My English has improved so much. How could I thank you enough?! I cannot wait to take your class next semester and keep working on my English.
