We are always trying to find the way to success, which stands for power,

pride and glory. There have been strings of stories of success I was told since

I was a child. From then on, I have been fascinated with being successful.

Whatsuccess? Different people have different opinions towards this

question. To start with, some people, such as accountants, workers and so on,

are longing for being rich, which allows them buy what they want, and enjoy

Failure is the mother of success. Sometimes people have to cope with many mistakes and failures in order to reach the successful finals. While others might succumb to failure, they tend to retreat and give in their efforts. I remembered I used to fail on my vocabury test when I was in high school. I had problem to memorize new words which got lloose each day. 结合着看，这才发现书中字字在理，句句经典，而松下辛之助的三条秘诀更是妙不可言，让人回味无穷。

今日源源不断的财富完全是为昔日贫寒的出生所迫——所谓先苦后甜，吃得苦中苦，才能方为人上人。白手起家的人，才能在获得财富后保持一种珍惜爱护的心态，不舍得恣意挥霍自己的付出和汗水。贫寒的生活造就、“逼迫”出了无数位成功人士。古今中外，范仲淹家境贫寒，划粥充饥，最终成为了一代巨匠；文中的松下幸之助自小困窘，最终成为了让人敬仰的“经营之神”……这些例子无疑告诉了我们——成功是逼出来的！

坚持是一种美好的品质。在面对欲望时，坚持淡泊和宁静;在惨遇不幸时，坚持生命的乐观和坚强;在面对危机时，坚持属于个人的自信和活力;在受到打击时，坚持心胸豁达和豪迈。坚持承受生命中的不能承受之事，是一种境界，一种胸怀。

无论德模生、爱迪生还是拜伦，他们成功的在于坚持不懈，锲而不舍地进取奋斗。此外他们还能正确对待暂时的挫折和失败，即不把失败看成纯粹的失败，而看成对成功的一次尝试，只有这样才能使他们不致丧失继续寻找通向成功路径的勇气和自信。

所有成功的人，还靠的是恒心两个字，不论多么难做的事情，多么浩大的工程，只要不间断地去做，总会成功的。所有失败的人，都是浅尝辄止，半途而废，纵有天大的才气，不能长久坚持，缺乏恒心，也会一事而成。

因而恒心是度量一个人是否成功的试金石，不要听他的高谈阔论，也不要为暂时的光芒所迷惑，只看他是否矢志不移地去做一件事，就足够了。

同时，在我们做任何一件事时都不会一帆风顺。一定会遇到风雨，但是我们必须相信自己行，相信自己行是一种信念，也是一种力量，一句“我能行”背后是相信自己必定成功的态度。古今中外无数事实说明，失败乃成功之母，而自信是成功的基石，正如爱迪生所说;“没有失败，只有离成功更近一步。”

有一幅漫画，看后很有启发，有一群人，各自的背上都背着一个沉重的十字架，在缓慢而艰难的前行。当时环境恶劣，黄沙漫天，道路坎坷。

途中，一个黄衣男子停下来休息，他实在不愿再背起这沉重的十字架了，可又无可奈何，于是心生一计，悄悄掏出一把小刀，把十字架砍去了一截，这样背起来就比较轻松了。

他继续前行，可是走着走着，还是感觉十字架很沉重，于是再次拿起小刀，又把十字架砍去一截。这样，他感觉轻松多了，于是心情愉快地哼着小曲：“啦啦啦，啦啦啦……”

谁料，前面忽然出现了一条又深又宽的沟壑，可是又没有桥，这可怎么通过？后面的人渐渐赶过来了，他们纷纷把自己背上的十字架架在了沟壑之上，于是形成了桥梁，他们很顺利地就过去了。

黄衣男子也如法炮制，只可惜他的十字架已经砍去了一大截，根本无法搭成桥架在沟壑之上。他只好留在原地，看着沟壑对面的人群渐渐走远，此时他沮丧不堪，追悔莫及，可是为时已晚。

在人生的道路上，我们每个人都背负着各种各样的“十字架”，在步履艰难的前行，它也许是责任，也是是事业、也许是我们的求学之路，总之，这些都构成了我们每个人在这个世界上存在的意义和价值，所以，我们要肩负起来该承担的一切，不要轻言放弃，更不可投机取巧，只有在逆境的不断挫折中才会更加磨炼自己，勇敢克服了这些困难，终究会获得成功的。

Success in Life

Success means different things for different people. Some may equate it with money, some with work and still some with ohter. For me, it means fulfilling ones dreams. Whatever your dreams are, you have a goal there and then focus all your attention on it. Dreams bring you hope and happiness. May be you cry, sweat, complain or even curse, but the joy of harvesting makes you forget all the pains and troubles you have gone through. So an old proverb says that the sweetest fruit is one that has undergone the bitterest ordeal.There are several keys to success. First, your goal must be practical and practicable. If you set your goal too high, maybe that you will never attain it. Next, you have to make a plan of doing it. Since the dream is quite tough, you need to be hard, Even if you meet with some difficulties, just take them in your stride. You can always tell yourself that there is nothing about. With this will and determination, success is sure to wait for you at the end of the tunnel!

To be or nor to be, that is a question. To succeed or to fail? How to

succeed and how to achieve? These problems confuse many teenagers in

nowadays.

We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will

always be some problems and setbacks to stop the pace of advance. When they

appear, what should we do? To stop or to go on? Mrs. Curie told us the answer.

We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know

how hard she worked? At that time, there were many people disapprove of Mrs.

When it comes to success, different people have different opinions about

to success while others believe being clever would lead to success. From my

point of view, I think perseverance and hard-working are indispensable for those

who want to make an achievement.

Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most people

want to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goal

and keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some people

who set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. I

think the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we have

perseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but if

we not, we are doomed to lose. As we all know, Edison is a great inventor in the

world. However, before he invented the bulb, he kept trying for tens of

thousands of times to find a suitable wire. Let us imagine, if he gave up at the

Anyway, I think perseverance and hard-working are both important in our way

to success for they enhance us and produce success.

On a remote top-secret floating facility called Aquatica, a team of scientists are searching for a cure for Alzheimers disease. The team consists of Dr. Susan McCallister , the scientist behind the experiment who decided to begin finding a cure after seeing her father suffers from Alzheimer Jim Whitlock; Dr. Janice Higgins; Carter Blake , a shark wrangler; Tom Scoggins, an engineer; etc.

Despite Blakes warnings, McCallister violates the code of ethics and creates three genetically engineered mako sharks. Her intent is to increase their brain capacity so the scientists can harvest tissue as a cure for Alzheimers. Unfortunately, the increased brain capacity also makes the sharks smarter, faster and more aggressiveas well as growing to the size of great white sharks, gaining increased memory, and being able to swim backwards. Aquaticas financial backers are skeptical about the tests and following the attack on the teens, send corporate executive Russell Franklin to visit the facility.

In order to prove that the research is worth it, the team schedules a test to remove brain fluid bearing the protein complex from the largest shark. After removing the tissue, they rejoice as it brings test cells back temporarily. However, after the test, the shark breaks free and bites off Whitlocks arm. Blake tries to shoot it, but McCallister saves it by pressing the release button, sending it back to the holding pen. An emergency request is made for paramedics, while the team gets Whitlock to the surface.
