Every body wants to succeed. But when it comes to the question that which

factor leads to success, opportunity or hard-work, different people will offer

different answers.

Some people think that opportunity is the first factor leading to success.

They hold the idea, as a proverb saying, “Man proposes, god disposes”. Because

almost all successful people have good luck and have caught their valuable

opportunities, they believe that opportunity is a leading condition of the

We are always trying to find the way to success, which stands for power,

pride and glory. There have been strings of stories of success I was told since

I was a child. From then on, I have been fascinated with being successful.

Whatsuccess? Different people have different opinions towards this

question. To start with, some people, such as accountants, workers and so on,

are longing for being rich, which allows them buy what they want, and enjoy

luxury. They treat it as success. Furthermore, some contestants, such as boxers,

are always trying their best to defeat their rivals for success. And once they

win, they confirm that they are stronger than others. The last but not the

今天，我在百忙之余读了一篇课文《挑山工》。这篇课文语句朴实，形象的刻画了挑山工们勤劳、踏实、俭朴的良好习惯，课文的字里行间透出作者对那些整日辛勤劳作、踏实做事、生活简朴的挑山工们的敬佩之情。

这篇课文以朴素的语句像我们描述了这样一件事：一日，作者与画友去泰山观赏风景路途中碰到了一个挑山工，并从挑山工的话中和他的举止言行中，发现了挑山工走的快的奥秘——“在这个世界上，没有一条短路，只就是看你掌握好了时间，就是否踏踏实实的做人。”

读完这篇课文，我的心久久不能平静，同时也被那些挑山工们身上那些美好品质所折服，让我不得不佩服他们。

为什么挑山工的路必有人还长一倍，但却比他们走得快， 这就是为什么呢？原因就就是因为，挑山工把好时间了，不像游人那样东张西看，只就是一心一意、踏踏实实的走自己的路。想到这儿，我又记起刚刚学过的一首文言文——《学弈》。《学弈》中的奕秋教导两个徒弟下棋，其中一个人听课专心致志，而另一个人心猿意马，表面上就是在听弈秋讲课，其实心早不知道飘到什么地方去了。最后，他们二人所收获的结果也不同，其有天壤之别。所以，只要踏踏实实走自己的路，无论结果怎样，只要你付出了自己的努力，就一定会有收获的。俗话说：“态度决定一切，习惯成就未来。”

前不久，我听说了一个这样的故事：有一个老木匠，因为他年纪大了，已到花甲。在他快要下岗之时，他那公司的老板要他快要退休之际，最后再为老板自己盖一所大房子。老木匠听了，心想：我就要退休了，再为老板做一件事也就是好的。于就是，他又刻苦、踏实的干活。终于，小木屋在他的呕心沥血下完工了！老板在他退休时，和蔼的对她说：“送你一个钥匙，这所房子归你了。”所以，我们踏实做事也就是有百益而无一害的。

There is no doubt that we all want to be successful. But what’s the main

concern of the way to success? From Abraham Lincoln’s famous remark, “Give me

six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the

axe”, I learn that if we want to achieve success, we must make full preparation

for it.

Only if we are well prepared, can we catch the opportunity which occurs

once in a while. In our daily life, we have to expand our horizon and lay a

solid foundation for success. It will be a long way to be successful thus we

have to accumulate our knowledge day by day. And we can’t achieve success in one

or two days. It will help us solve problems more efficiently if we have a broad

horizon. What’s more, opportunities always occur out of our expectation so we

In my  above all, one should be a person of strong perseverance. Rome was not built in a day. On our long way to success, there are  undoubtedly many difficulties standing in the way. If we lose heart and give up

在三年级上学期期中考试时，我遇到了两道我认为很难的数学应用题，快收卷了，那两道应用题我还没做完，我就没有写，趴在桌子上发呆。考完试后，我问起同学那两题的答案，他们都一一回答了出来。报分数了，我得知我数学考了88分，是全班第二十七名。当妈妈向我问起考试的分数时，我支支吾吾地对她说：“我…我…考了…88分……”“什么？88分？”妈妈听到后大发雷霆，“你这次怎么考得这么低啊，你原来一直可以考九十多分啊。”“因为，因为我实在想不到怎么解答。”“那你的同学解答出来了吗？”妈妈接着又问。“他们都回答出来了”“那你怎么答不出来”妈妈更加火冒三丈了。我站在一旁，闷不吭声。过了一会儿，妈妈的怒火平息下来了，语重心长地对我说：“孩子，上课时候要专心听老师讲课，课后要做好作业，遇到不明白的问题可以请教老师。在考试的时候，遇到不会的题目一定要平心静气，想想老师在上课时讲的重点，自己也要努力思考怎样列式计算。你看，你的许多同学都回答出来了，这说明那道题目并没有那么难。一旦你认为那道题目很难，而放弃去努力解答他，那么你就没有希望会回答出来了。孩子，只要你自己发挥自己最大的力量，那道题目也不会是阻拦前进道路的大石头了，妈妈相信你！”听到这里，我泪流满面，决心遇到困难保持良好的心态，不被困难吓倒。

一转眼就到了期末考试，在考试时，我同样又遇到了几道令同学叫苦不堪的题目，当我又想放弃的时候，我的脑海里回荡起了妈妈对我的鼓励，我便静下心来，努力思考怎么解答题目。功夫不负有心人，经过我长时间的思考，我终于解答了出来，我考了全班第一。当我为同学们讲解怎么解答那几道难题时，他们都对我刮目相看。回到家，我便向妈妈报喜。妈妈听到我的所作所为时，脸上露出了久违的笑容。
