由于经历和水平有限，我知道自己并未对这本书和傅先生有所深刻的理解。但是还是忍不住在此对之表达我的崇敬之意。书的最前边是楼适夷写的一段序，在看完整本书后再来看，最前边几句话令人发省：一颗纯洁、正直、真诚、高尚的灵魂，尽管有时会遭受到意想不到的磨难、污辱、迫害，陷入到似乎不齿于人群的绝境，而最后真实的光不能永远掩灭，还是要为大家所认识，使它的光焰照彻人间，得到它应该得到的尊敬和爱。

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. In addition to these subjects, "Use of English" is also a compulsory subject because a pass in English is a minimum requirement for admission to most faculties of the University of Hong Kong.

Apart from academic work, I have been actively involved in extra-curricular activities. I am Chairman of the English Club and I have represented my school in many inter-school contests.

During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting.

Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house.

My mother bought a lot of tasty foods for us, we also took many photos on the party. We played very happy. I also watched lots of carton films at home, they were wonderful.

I always think there is not enoughTime. For example, I have just taken a

three-day holiday. But when I look back, I just feel that it’s only one day.

There goes a proverb, “Time is money”. Now I want to say, time is more precious

than money, because when money is spent, we can earn some more again. However,

when time is gone or lost, never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually

limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it’s a pity that I am

always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think, I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting

time is equal to wasting one’s life. Do not put off what can be done today till

tomorrow!

Different countries have different customs and different ways to celebrate festival. In our China, we have a variety of festivals, of which celebrating way is different. For example, we will eat mooncake in Mid-autumn Festival and have dragon boat races in the Dragon Boat Festival and eat zongzi. But in some extend, we celebrate all the festivals in the same way. Every family will have a big meal with their family. It is a time for family gathering. No matter what kind of celebrating way for a festival, it is the time to enjoy life.

不同的国家有不同的风俗习惯和不同的节日庆祝方式。在我们中国，我们有各种各样的节日，而庆祝它们的方式是不一样的。例如，我们会在中秋节吃月饼、在端午节赛龙舟、吃粽子。但从某种程度上说，我们都是以同样的方式来庆祝所有的节日。每家每户都会和家人一起吃大餐。这是属于家庭相聚的时间。无论用什么样的方式来庆祝，这都是享受生活的时刻。

人生实在是一本大书，内容复杂，分量沉重，直到反倒个人所能翻到的最后一页，而且必须慢慢的翻。书中记载着欢乐，记载着忧愁，记载着许许多多的事，但每件事都包含着人的品质，其中最重要的是：诚信。

傍晚，火红的夕阳染红了半边天，西边的云朵，五彩斑斓，美丽极了。我一个人走在回家的小路上，边走边哼着小曲，心里特别开心，因为我考了个100分，回家妈妈肯定夸我。

走过半路，一阵吆喝打断了我的思绪。“卖西瓜啦，又大又甜的西瓜，快来买呀！”原来是卖西瓜的，我一看，呀！还还有不少人呢！于是我挤到摊前，一看：哇，这儿的西瓜真大呀，个个都像个皮球！看着看着，我不禁眼馋了。这时，我一看，卖西瓜的老爷爷正和别人讨价还价呢！我心想：哈哈！趁他不注意偷个西瓜吃。不，不行，老爷爷辛辛苦苦种的西瓜怎偷呢？但少了一个又没事，还是偷一个吧！于是，我趁人还不注意，便拿了一个西瓜蹑手蹑脚的逃走了，，在回家的路上，我边跑边回头看看，生怕被人发现，回家后，我长舒了一口气，将西瓜放到桌上，见妈妈刚从外面回来，便对她说：“妈，我考试得了100分！”妈妈一听，说：“哇，儿子真棒！”“晚上吃西瓜吧！”“西瓜，哪儿有西瓜？”我用手指指桌上，妈妈问：“谁买的”我用手拍拍胸口，自负的说：“我弄来的。”妈妈一听，不但没有夸我，却一下子把我拉坐到椅子上，十分严肃的说：“快说，从哪儿弄来的？”我支支吾吾的讲了事情的经过。

妈妈一听，便对我讲了一个故事：从前有个人，他十分能干，拥有了诚信，金钱，爱情，事业，幸福。他在过河时，由于太重，船快沉了，他需要抛弃一个东西，他想了想，他丢掉了诚信，可他上岸后，不讲诚信最后关进了大牢。我听后便对妈妈说：“我明天还给他。”妈妈开心的说：“这才是我的乖儿子。”

第二天，我将西瓜还给了那个老爷爷，老爷爷见状，“呵呵呵”的笑了，笑得是那么开心，脸上的皱纹似乎也少了许多。

诚信给人的感觉像一泓清水，你可以看见水底的鱼，也像一条大道，你可以一直坦然的走，走向阳光普照下的世界，亮亮堂堂。当一个人仰无愧于天，他就会诚信，所以就会过得快乐和幸福。

冬色爷爷送走了大地的严寒，春姑娘踏着轻盈的脚步来到了人间。春天的景色十分漂亮，就像一幅栩栩如生的画。

春天的阳光格外明媚，春姑娘展开了笑脸，太阳，红红的光束射过来，那温柔地抚摸你，像年轻的母亲的手。

随着春姑娘轻快的步伐，青青的小草，破土而出，偷偷的从土里钻出来，嫩嫩的，绿绿的。在公园里，到处都可以看见这一些生命力顽强的小草。

在这一个温暖的季节里，在树林里，许多的树木都开满了鲜艳的花朵；大家都不肯相让，红的、黄的、白的、紫的，各种各样的花真像一个漂亮的大花坛。许许多多的蝴蝶和蜜蜂都闻到了花的香味，都不约而同地飞来采蜜，在半空中飞来飞去。

在树林里，许多的小鸟在自由自在欢乐地飞翔着，高兴起来，便唱出清脆悦耳的曲子，和煦的春光吹拂着小河，河水忽然被一阵悦耳、动听的笛声所牵动，放眼望去，一群顽皮的小孩子正用垂柳的茎做柳笛呢！他们吹出了心里的幸福和快乐。

春天的雨是柔和的，只见春雨在竹枝、竹叶上跳动着。那雨时而直线滑落，时而随风飘洒，留下如烟、如雾、如纱、如丝的倩影，飞溅的雨花仿佛是琴铉上跳动的音符，奏出优美的旋律。

天空上，怎么是五颜六色的，使人眼花缭乱？啊，原来孩子们在防风筝呀。在蓝天白云的照耀下，各种各样的风筝在自由自在地飘舞着，飞升着，多么使人心旷神怡的景象啊！

啊，春天的一切，都显得那样的生机勃勃。

啊，春天真美啊！让我们用心去感受大自然的美景吧。
