Dropped in at National Library to see the National Book Exhibition which will close today. Suprised at the fact that so many kinds of books are published in our country. Thought the childrens books with many pages of colorful illustrations were made very nicely. Bought a copy of the Chinese version of English and American Short Stories at a 20 per cent discount. Am going to read this through in this good season for reading.

信步走到图书馆看即将在今天结束的全国书籍。惊奇的是发现我们国家竟然出版了这么多种的书籍。我觉得富有多页彩色插图的儿童书籍印刷的相当精美。我买了一本打八折的《英美短篇小说》中文版。我要在这读书的好季节里将它读完。

寒假的生活多姿多彩，但过得飞快。虽然只有二十八天，但我仍然过得充实、快乐。在寒假的生活中发生了非常多的趣事，让我记忆最深刻的要数大年三十晚上放烟花了。

大年三十除夕夜，时钟已接近晚上十一点半，我的心也随之跟着兴奋起来。因为再过半个小时，就是我们中国传统的新年了，此时全国上下将沉静在一片欢声笑语、团团圆圆的氛围中。我激动地望着墙上的时钟，觉得它走的太慢了，一分钟、二分钟、十分钟……等待真得让我有点难忍。中央电视台春节联欢晚会的主持人此时也在不停地报着时间，让我们倒数十个数，十、九、八……“爸、妈快下楼放烟花了，十二点了”，我大声地叫喊着。我们捧着烟花到小区门口，一切准备就绪。只见远处天空已有许多烟花徐徐上升了，声音震耳欲聋。此时的天空犹如白昼一般，这应该是我们中国人最兴奋的一刻吧！

我们也开始燃放了，不远处的妈妈叮嘱道：“小心手，点了马上离开。”此时的我哪听得见这些啊！我只想感觉一下放烟花的滋味。打火机一碰到导火线，烟花响了起来，迅速冲向天空。它们形状各异、五花八门。瞧！那一户人家的烟花，犹如一朵绽放的白莲；这边这户人家的烟花，犹如一个小孩子的笑脸；这边的，这边的烟花更悬，它像一把利剑，直冲去霄。这些烟花五彩斑斓、色彩艳丽。瞧！我家的烟花它像流星一般升入天空，然后绽放出了许多“花朵”闪闪发亮。

快乐的时间总是飞快地流逝，短短的几分钟，我又长大一岁了，新的一年要更加努力了。

Dragon Boat Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It falls on the

fifth day of May in the lunar calendar. A day before this festival, my mother

and grandmother began to make zongzi. Of course, I would act as assistant. But

it turned out that I was more of a hindrance than a help. When they finished,

they started to cook them. This process needed a long time, because I could have

them in the next day. Zongzi was very delicious. On the day of dragon boat

festival, our family prepared for dinner after having breakfast. Everyone of my

family will come back home for the solid diet. Chicken is indispensable on the

dinner desk in Chinese traditional festival. There were many delicious foods,

which made me watering. I ate lots of them. It is a wonderful festival.

Whenit comes to online shopping, different people holds different ideas towards it.Some people seem extremely enjoy the way of buying things online because theyfeel online shopping is so convenient. Some just don’t believe that they can buygood quality commodities from Internet. As far as I’m concerned, I think onlineshopping creates lots of benefits to people.

Firstly,buying things online is a way of saving time. Compared with the traditional wayof shopping, we have no need to go out to pick up our favorite goods from storeto store. Just a click, we can have things in our shopping cart and just waitfor the goods to be delivered to us. To this extent, not only we can save thetime of finding things from store to store but we don’t need to spend time ontransportation. Thus, we can save lots of time to enjoy fun.

Secondly,buying things online can save our money. People buy commodities by Internet notonly because it saves us time, but also, we can save lots of money. It is oftenseen that some people just go to the physical store to check out thecommodities they want to buy and then they would search for their favoritecommodities online and take the order. People do this just because they knowthat online goods are usually cheaper than the goods displayed in shop windowbecause online shop have no need to pay the rent. So, people are more inclinedto buying things from online store.

Thirdly,convenience is the last but not least thing of shopping online. Since we canbuy things online, there is no need to go out to look for things we want tobuy. What we need to do is to simply sit before our computer, search for thingswe want to buy, click our favorite thing and then pay our order by our bankcard. And then, you just need to wait for your goods to be delivered to yourhome.

Inconclusion, shopping online is a convenient, time-saving and money saving wayof buying things. Therefore, we can benefit a lot from shopping online. That’sthe reason of why shopping online has developed faster and faster in recentyears.

这是一只多么可爱的小兔子啊！

这是我今年在外公家的花坛里看到它时发出的由衷感叹。

在它小小的脑袋上，竖着一对长长的招风耳，十分灵活，稍有风吹草动，它便立刻停止手上的工作，竖起它的长耳朵，仔细聆听。只有确定没有危险后，它才敢小心翼翼地继续工作。它的眼睛是红色的，如同两颗晶莹的红宝石镶嵌在洁白的雪地里。

在外公家的第二天，我发现小兔子在花坛的一角挖了一个洞，并且整天在洞里往外运泥土，估计是想把洞扩大一些吧！这下，我的坏心思又冒出来了：兔子在里头往外运泥土，要是我将泥土给填回去，那会怎么样呢？心动不如行动，我拿了铲子，搬了张凳子，静静地“埋伏”在兔子窝旁边。等兔子一进洞，我就拿起铲子，奋力往里面填土，平时没觉得，现在发现原先被小兔子推出来的泥土已经堆成一座小山了。可是还没铲几下，就看到小兔子匆匆忙忙从窝里退出来了，我也急忙将铲子藏好，若无其事地坐在凳子上，饶有兴趣地观赏小兔子的表演。只见它看了看我，又看了看四周，又抬头看了看天空，接着就跑到一边去吃菜叶了。对我来说，真是大失所望了，原本指望着能够看看它吃惊的表情，可现在它却如此镇定，真是扫兴！不过，不一会儿，我又计上心来。

我听说兔子的视力特别差，几米以外就看不见了。于是我计划趁它还在进食，把它的老窝给填了。于是，我快刀斩乱麻，几下子就把它的老窝“夷为平地”了。完工后，我继续坐在旁边观看下半场好戏。只见兔子吃饱后悠悠闲闲地往家走去。突然，它感觉到自己脚下土地的海拔变低了，不禁起了疑心，不觉加快了脚步。咦？我明明记得这里应该有一堆土的呀！怎么不见了？小兔子觉得更奇怪了，但它仍然继续往前走，接着它难以置信地发现自己的窝不翼而飞了。它先是又蹦又跳，继而又是一阵发呆，很快又开始重新开挖。

接下来几天，还是如此，它挖我埋，但是第十天，我便不这么做了，因为我惊叹于它那坚定的信念和强大的意志力了。是啊，只要我们也拥有这坚定的信念、强大的意志力，还有什么难的事情呢？这便是寒假里我从这只可爱的小兔子身上学到的精神。

人群之中有的在窃窃私语，有的在有限地点烟，有的在摇头叹气。。。。。。我忽然感到口干舌燥了。片刻沉默后，一个童音在嚷:爸爸，老爷爷不冷吗?是啊!大家似乎是受到了什么启发，好些人开始跟房主交涉，众目睽睽之下，房主涨红了脸，:大伙帮个忙。房主恢复了自信，和几个小伙软硬兼施地把老人扶进了房内，一个中年人已经风风火火地在旁边的饮食店中拿来了热腾腾的面。

好些人散去了。我--一位看客，从裤兜里抽出手，耳边回响起幼稚的童音，在羞愧中重新迈开脚步。

盼啊，盼啊，终于盼到了年三十的晚上，家家户户喜气洋洋，大人们有的贴对联，有的挂灯笼……当然，孩子们还是最喜欢放烟花了。瞧，天空早就被这烟花装扮得五彩缤纷。

我们家也不例外，一吃好晚饭我就迫不及待地找来了我的儿童烟花。我先取出“荧光棒”，刚一点燃，“荧光棒”就火光四射，它像一个会变脸的大魔术师一样，红黄蓝绿交替出现，看得我眼花缭乱。接着爸爸捧来一个“花开富贵”的大型烟花，一点火，只听“嗖”的几声，一束束烟花像火箭似的飞上天空，又瞬间在空中开放。烟花有紫的、红的、粉的、黄的……就像是美丽的仙女在空中撒下五颜六色的花朵。我们兴奋不已，连声赞叹道：“太棒了!太壮观了!”

这时妈妈拿来了一个半圆形的小型烟花，对我说：“小龙，这个你放!”我听了心惊胆战，想：我可从来没有放过这种烟花，万一烟花溅到我身上可怎么办?!妈妈好像看出了我的心思，语重心长地对我说：“小龙，你不用害怕。看，这引线长着呢，点燃了就跑，烟花不会飞溅到你身上的。”听了妈妈的话，我鼓足了气，跑上前点燃了引线，只听“刺”的一声，引线冒出了火花，我赶紧跑了回去。随着“哗哗”几声，烟花喷出了色彩斑斓的火光，像是孔雀开屏，又像是火树银花。我乐得一蹦三尺高，喊道：“我也会放烟花了!我也会放烟花了!”

后来，我又放了几个小型烟花，妈妈夸我长大了，真勇敢，变成小男子汉了，我听了心里美滋滋的。

每个人都有自己的寒假，当然我也一样。每个人都在自己的寒假过的很愉快，都有许多趣事。下面我给大家说说我自己的寒假趣事。

老师给我们布置一项作业让我们自己做一盏灯笼，但是我不把它当成一项作业把它当成一项有趣的手工制作大家要是有兴趣的话就和我一起做吧!

我做的这个灯笼叫做鸡蛋小灯笼。首先我们找来一个鸡蛋在它的一端上用小刀划一个圆圆的小洞(可以让家长帮忙)为了方便放蜡烛，然后把鸡蛋里面的蛋黄和蛋清倒出来，再用水冲一冲这样就更干净了。接下来我们拿出一小节蜡烛，再在蜡烛的下面涂上胶水或粘上两面胶，然后慢慢地把蜡烛放进鸡蛋里一定把蜡烛的长短和鸡蛋的长短比好这样才能在放蜡烛的时候不容易把鸡蛋弄破。最后我们找一根既漂亮又长还要结实的绳子，从中间剪开，分别粘在鸡蛋被划破的那一头。再找一根棍子，(竹子比较好)把绳子帮在棍子上，到灯节那天把蜡烛点燃就行了。你学会了吗?

你肯定想到橘子皮灯笼但是橘子皮很厚灯光出不来，太薄的容易烂，所以我觉得鸡蛋比较好。

When we were children, we often say that I want to grow up, or I want to be

an adult. As children, we cannot do many things, while after we grow up, we can.

Firstly, growing up means more responsibilities. We should make a living by

But many people find it hard to learn English well. According to my own learning experience, I think determination, read English materials and patience are the most significant.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

I’m unlucky on the playing too. I played firecracker but I hurt my finger with the fire. I ‘m careless to kindle the firecracker, so I’m very unlucky.

I still unlucky on my friend’s party. In the morning, I wanted to get up early but I woke up at 10:50. After ten minutes, the party would start! So I only eat a piece of bread then I go to my friend’s home! And I stay at his home for a long time when I came home. My mother and father were very angry and they scolded me!

也许初三的路有些崎岖，有些坎坷;也许初三的路上少不了犹豫和彷徨，少不了懈怠和忧伤……可是，与其说在为成绩为分数而战，倒不如说，初三是在考验一个人的忍耐和坚强，在挑战一个人的潜能。世上没有人一生下来就什么都会，古往今来，有哪一位伟人不是经过自己的辛勤的付出和努力才成功的呢?只有勤奋才是通向智慧圣殿的唯一道路。阿基米德曾说过：“给我一个支点，我可以撬起整个地球”，其实我们知道，如果给你一个支点，你也可以把地球撬起来。人本来没有多大的区别，关键在于是否能正确地把握一个最佳的支点。让我们用我们的奋斗来做支点，迎接命运的撞击。

同学们，有一种记忆叫感动，有一种付出叫成功，有一种辉煌叫震撼!希望你们用追求、成功和辉煌感动所有关心你们的人!同学们，努力吧!向心中的目标冲刺，为自己喝彩!成功一定会与你们同行!

你们的班主任

考试结束，收起卷子，放下书包，拿着满意的成绩单，站在蓝天白云之下像小朋友般的高呼一句：“我放假了。”紧张的一个学期结束了，抛开课业负担，丢掉考试压力，飞出笼子的鸟儿将要面对是一片蔚蓝的自由天空！

对于我来说，我更喜欢寒假，尽管它没有暑假的时间长，可它却有暑假所不具备的很多优点。比如说，寒假没有暑假的酷热难耐，虽然冬天也有它强烈的季节特点，但能在寒冷的冬天尝到一觉饱睡到太阳升到你头顶的滋味是感觉非常不错的。又比如说，寒假的到来就意味着快过年了，过年对中国人来说是很重要的。它象征着一切不美好的东西都会随旧的一年而去，我们即将迎来的是一个新的开始，一切都过去了，一切又都开始了，这种独特感觉也是在暑假中找不到的，它是寒假所独有的。

我的这个寒假不但比暑假过得有滋有味也与以往的寒假有所不同。因为在我们小小的三口之家中有了新成员——一个可爱的小男孩。他是我的小弟弟，也是我们一大家子人的小宝贝，正是他给我的寒假生活添上不一样的色彩。

这次寒假我很少一睡睡到太阳老高，而总是在7点或8点钟很自然的就醒了，然后连鞋都顾不上穿就跑向妈妈的房间和弟弟“聊天”。因为我弟弟生来就不喜欢睡觉，他属于“精力旺盛”型的，从落生直到3个月大一直如此，为这我妈妈现在还很烦恼。

除上面所有“优点”（我认为那是优点，因为我小时侯也不爱睡觉）以外，我弟弟的“口才”也是一流的，还不到两个月的时候就会对人“哦，哦”的讲话了。在寒假期间经过我的训练，讲话已经会转弯儿了。有时甚至会发出类似于“爸爸”、“哥哥”的字眼。除早上时间，我一有空都会和他聊，虽然我说的话自己听不懂，但我想他一定能听得懂，因为我们说的是同一国的语言。总之他咿咿呀呀，我也咿咿呀呀，在他的带领下我们仿佛有一种返朴归真的感觉。

在这期间，我还主动帮小弟弟洗衣服。要知道平时我连自己的衣服都不想洗。可帮他洗衣服时，我却是那样高兴，每一个地方都洗得那么认真，不放过任何一个细节。也许在他长大后我能颇自豪地对他说：“你小时侯的衣服是我辛苦帮你洗得，你一定要听我的话懂了吗？”而他呢，则会乖乖的拉着我的手听我说每一件事。这些听起来也许很可笑，但在我看来并没有丝毫的可笑之处，而只是感到幸福和快乐。当了14年的独生子女的我，突然有了个弟弟，那份喜悦是用言语形容不上来的。

就这样，在与弟弟的聊天中我度过了寒假，在认真帮他洗衣服时我度过了寒假。这次的寒假生活虽然平淡，甚至是千篇一律，但我十分享受这样的生活。看着他天天长大就好像看着自己小时候的成长过程，这并不是每个人都能体验到的。我享受这样的寒假生活，也爱这种平淡而又不同寻常的寒假生活。

寒假生活中，大家都有不同的感受。有忙碌的，有充实的，有快乐的，有无聊的，有后悔的等等。我有一个难忘又辛苦的寒假。

到了寒假，我写完一点儿作业，然后疯跑着，快速地去爷爷家看电视，吃东西，为所欲为，有时还骑车去南阳新村转转，看看，或者玩一会儿电脑等等。将所有的事都忘到九霄云外了。

一天，我正熟睡在我的美梦里，妈妈一来，将我拉起，我十分不愿意，但又没有办法，只好穿上衣服起来。我问妈妈：“我们去哪儿呀？”妈妈回答我说：“带你去体验一下挣钱容不容易。”我立即反对，我又转念一想：“也好，出去体验一下也不错嘛！”我说：“好吧，那就去吧！”妈妈把我带到一个印刷厂，专门做纸箱，手提袋和挂历的。

我戴上手套，开始折手提袋，纸上有印，很好折，很快，我折了好几十个呢！可一回头看妈妈他们，竟然折了好几百个，我十分吃惊。我们从7点来，一直干到十二点，在这期间，我坐着难受极了，好几次想走，可是妈妈就是不准，终于到而来十二点，我的腿连走路都走不动了。下午一点，妈妈又带我来，这一干就是六个小时，我又受不了了，我开始吵闹，可是也没有办法，我慢慢地折，慢慢地折，终于熬过这难受的六个小时。又这样过了两天，我已经筋疲力尽，连拿碗都很吃力。

今天是第四天，工厂的工都做完了，原本以为可以舒舒服服的睡上一觉，没想到妈妈又带我去另外一个工厂，也做手提袋，我又干了三天，但是这三天我没有哭，也没有闹，安安分分地工作，使大家都十分惊讶！我也十分惊讶！

我干完了一切工作，数着自己所挣得钱，心里美滋滋的。经过这次锻炼，我的耐心和毅力有了很大的提高。从中我也明白了家长挣来的钱来之不易，一定要节约爸妈一分一分的辛劳，让他们感到孩子长大了。
