过年我兴，不用担心迟到，不用做作业，每天睡到自然醒，就算偶尔调皮，大人也都会一笑了之，不会责备。

爸爸把街上买来十二个红彤彤的灯笼，串成了两串，挂在门楼两旁，爸爸笑着说：“十二个红灯笼预示我们全家，在新的一年里，十二个月都红红火火，你也不用担心小鬼的侵扰。”我和爸爸一起贴春联和福字。妈妈忙着准备丰盛的年夜饭，有海鲜、蔬菜、牛肉，当然少不了意味着“年年有余”的鱼，吃年夜饭之前要先行祭祖。我还要到超市里买橙汁、啤酒，准备吃年夜饭用。

正月初一，是我又一个开心的曰子。吃过汤圆，去走亲访友拜新年，既拿了红包又玩了一上午。下午，我袋里装着父母给的零花钱，与表哥姐及堂弟妹一起到街上玩，甭提多高兴了。路上的小鸟大概它们心里也很高兴吧，也来凑热闹。今天算是一饱眼福二饱口福三饱手福了!

大年初二中午，天气很好，爸爸带我到乡村的田野里转了一圈。站在田埂上放眼望去，正在拔节的麦苗儿，显出袅娜窈窕的姿态，妩媚地谈笑，小沟里的水细微的涟漪，野草和小花点缀着美的世界。

我仔细观察了一颗绿油油的麦苗，两片大的叶子中间还有一个嫩芽，爸爸告诉我：“这就是麦芽，长大会开花，结成我们要吃的麦子。”

墙角下蜷缩了一个冬季的蔷薇花，早就乘着春风爬上了墙头，用它那最娇嫩的新芽迎接着春天的祝福。现在我知道了生机勃勃，芝麻开花节节高的生活。

时间飞逝，日月如梭，转眼间，我们已是一名六年级的红领巾。伴随着时间的脚步，我们踏进了小学阶段的最后一个学期，也是人生中第一个重要的转折点，因为，我们即将要面临小升初的入学、分班考试。

因为小升初的缘故，六年级的寒假里我也没闲着，到处报班，而恰恰是这些培训班，让我收获了一份“厚礼”。

第一天，我去上语文课，陌生的环境使我感到很孤独，没有同学之间有好的问候，这是我感到浑身难受。

就在此时，进来了一位后脑勺扎着马辫子，双眼皮的眼睛，高高的鼻梁，穿着一件粉色的衣服，一条深蓝的牛仔裤，看起来一副清清爽爽的样子，这是我感到很舒服，孤独的感觉也瞬间消失了。

她向我微笑的点点头，我也向她点点头，她还告诉我，她叫陈君盈，大家都叫她盈，因此，我也亲切地叫她盈。

上课铃一响，我立刻坐下，盈就坐在我的后面。

老师跟我们说，要选语文课代表，一正一副。我充满期待的看着老师，希望我会是其中的一个，盈也是。果然，老师看到我这边的时候，脚步轻盈的走了过来：“小同学，你叫什么名字？”“郑……芷晴。”我害羞的回答老师。老师没理我点了点头，走到盈的身边，我不禁有点失落，但又替盈高兴。当老师问盈叫什么名字的时候，盈干脆利落的答道：“陈君盈！”老师满意地点了点头。于是又站回讲台，大声的宣布：“好，以后，郑芷晴就是正课代表，陈君盈就是副课代表”。我受惊若宠，便转过头看盈，本想庆幸我们两都是语文课代表，但我却看见盈用凶狠的目光看着我，我害怕的转过头去，战战兢兢的过了一节课。

放学时我还不明白，为什么盈会晴转多云，这么阴险的看着我，但我想，应该是弄错了吧，明天应该不会的。

可是，自从那天以后，盈就再也没有理睬过我，对我冷眼相看，而且，她还在别的同学面前说我的坏话，拉拢人际关系等等。最开始我还能忍，但是她越来越过分，一次又一次的伤害我，原来，盈是不服气我是正的，她是副的，因此而讨厌我，而我却傻傻的独自一人唱着独角戏……这使我的竞争力一下子升高了，我也对她毫不客气，开始利用正课代表的权利，让苦活她做，让能得到老师表扬的活我做，但在这些背后，我的心里是如此的痛，如此的不舒服，因为我从来没想过会这样对她，但是我一想到她对我的背叛时，我的心又硬了起来，决心要与她决战到底。

但在结束的最后一天，我和妈妈去逛街，偶然的遇上了盈，她微笑地向我们走过来，我心里冷了一下，觉得她的笑容好阴险毒辣，笑里藏刀，要是换做以前，我是绝对不会这么想的。

她向我妈妈打了一声招呼，我妈妈也点了点头，然后就走了。我不禁有点气妈妈，便问：“妈，你干嘛理她？”而妈妈却这样回答我：“你难道看不出来吗？人家是真想和你和好，想把以前的事情抹掉，你宽容一点，要知道，退一步——海阔天空。”我装作若无其事的样子，一点也不在乎地答道：“鬼才要和她和好呢！我——不——稀——罕！”

多天以后我才慢慢聪明过来：无论在哪儿，无论做什么，我们都会遇到对手。我们太习惯于把对手列为敌人，太习惯于嫉妒甚至诽谤，一个人的真正成长却是从真诚的欣赏对手开始的。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

决定做什么以后，我们便分工进行了，爸爸做肉馅，妈妈揉面，我烧水。我们干起来都十分有劲，不到半个小时，肉馅弄好了，饺子也弄好了，水也快烧开了。妈妈便熟练地包起饺子来，我好不容易包了三个，累死了，还真难学啊！妈妈说：“不吃点苦，努力学，怎么能学得好呢？”我听了有点惭愧，便吸取教训，重新扬起风帆，认认真真地包了起来，这下做得更快了一些。这就使我明白了一个道理：学什么都应该刻苦。

过了大概二十多分钟，揉的面已经全部做成了饺子，烧的水也已经在锅里翻江倒海了。妈妈便把饺子放进锅里，煮了起来。妈妈在中途还加了一些佐料，使饺子更加好吃，约摸过了十多分钟吧，妈妈便把饺子捞起来，分成了三碗，在每碗中还放了一些汤。我妈刚弄好汤，我便抢了一碗津津有味地吃个痛快！由于吃得太快，舌头都火辣辣的。

我们个个都吃得满嘴是油，便欢天喜地去看精彩电视节目了。

今年寒假，我到老家安徽去过年。我们老家有一种特殊的习俗，叫“放野火”。

“放野火”就是把田野里田埂上的荒草烧掉，等来年再长出新的草，“野火烧不尽，春风吹又生”说的就是这个道理。“放野火”既好玩，又能为去田野里干农活的人清除障碍。不过“放野火”要用到打火机，所以一定要谨慎。

大年初三的上午，我和三个最好的伙伴在爷爷的带领下去田野里“放野火”。但是，我们觉得用打火机点火太麻烦了，操纵不好还会烫到手。于是，我们便开动脑筋，想更好的办法。我想到：古代人用一根长长的木棒，木棒上包着塑料或草，做个火把，点燃后可以烧个几十分钟。于是，我就寻找材料做了起来。

我先把找到的木棒丢到正在燃烧的草堆旁烘干，然后把塑料包上去，再裹上一层草，最后用火点燃草，就大功告成了。我举着自制的“火把”开始“干活”，结果这个“火把”整整烧了二十多分钟才灭，我们一共烧了三条田埂，天空中冒着浓浓的黑烟，我们望着自己的“战绩”，兴高采烈地回家吃饭。

The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New YearThe first day of the Lunar New Year is "the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth."Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.The third and fourth days are for the sons-in-laws to pay respect to their parents-in-law.The fifth day is called Po Woo. On that day people stay home to welcome the God of Wealth. No one visits families and friends on the fifth day because it will bring both parties bad luck.On the sixth to the 10th day, the Chinese visit their relatives and friends freely. They also visit the temples to pray for good fortune and health.The seventh day of the New Year is the day for farmers to display their produce. These farmers make a drink from seven types of vegetables to celebrate the occasion.

The seventh day is also considered the birthday of human beings. Noodles are eaten to promote longevity and raw fish for success.On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.The ninth day is to make offerings to the Jade Emperor.The 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invited for dinner.

After so much rich food, on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens (choi sum) to cleanse the system.The 14th day should be for preparations to celebrate the Lantern Festival which is to be held on the 15th night.
