City streets around the country have seen an explosion of the colourful bikes that users can rent on demand with a smartphone app and then park wherever they choose.

Zhuang Chuangyu, a representative at Shenzhens municipal peoples congress, said the city needed to step up regulation of the bike-sharing industry in order to improve traffic conditions and safety standards, especially since schoolchildren often used the bikes.

In 1980, almost 63% of commuters cycled to work, the Beijing Morning Post reported in 2015, citing government data. But by 2000 that number had plummeted to 38% and today it stands at less than 12%.

presently, the world is faced with serious water problems. but these problems witt become more intense and more comple in the future. our increasing population witt tremendously increase urban waters, primarily sewage. on the other hand, increasing demands for water witt decrease substantially the amount of water available for diluting wastes.

rapidly epanding industries which involve more and more comple chemical processes will produce large volumes of liquid wastes. many of thesewitt contain chemicals that are poisonous. to feed our rapidly epanding population, agriculture will have to be intensified.

this will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. from this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

As we all know,Chinas mainland population grew to 1.339 billion by 2010,according to census figures released on Thursday,so the government take many action to reduce population.In the most families only have one children,for example me,in my home,my parents only have one children.In fact,I really want to have a brother or sister,because if I have a brother or sister,I will not feel lonely.And if I have some problems,he or she can help me.We can play together and grow up together,when I saw other children play with his brother pr sister in my childhood,I’m admired him very much.Until now,I also want to have a brother,if I have something can’t tell others,I can tell him,and he will protect me.

So in the future,when I have my own family,I will be a parent,I hope I will have two children,one is a boy,the other is a girl.They can accompany with each other,and the brother can protect sister if she have some problems in the outside,and they can study how to cooperate.When they grow up,we will be old,he and she also have many babies,and we will live together very happy.

The large number of our population has become one of the most serious problems of our society. according to a recent survey of the national bureau of statistics, there are more than 1.3 billion people in our country, which account for about 1/5 of all the people in the world. the same survey also predicts that our population will grow quickly in the years to come.

overpopulation has brought about a series of negative effects to our economic development and social security. in the first place, too many people impose a heavy burden on our environment. as a result, we suffer from a shortage of fresh water and natural resources. in the second place, as the supply of labor greatly exceeds the demand of the society, many people become employed. this is a source of social unrest. last but not least, we have to manufacture all kinds of products to meet the needs of the people, which causes environment pollution to our lakes and land.

serious though the problem seems, we have to take some measures to tackle it. on the one hand, the government should carry out more strictly the policy of family planning, thus reducing the total number of population. on the other hand, all the people should realize the harms of overpopulation. with the concerted efforts of all the parties concerned, we’re sure to solve the problem in the future.

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.

Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence.

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems.
