Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.

We all wish (hope) to be happy， so we should take good care of our

health。

Health is the best treasure (which) a man can possess。 Money can do many

things， but it cannot buy happiness。 However， so long as man has good health， he

can enjoy the pleasures of human life。

In order to insure good health we must pay attention to three things。 They

are-nourishing food， fresh air and proper exercise。

我们大家都期望快乐，所以我们就应好好保重健康。一个病人因为失去健康而很少快乐。

健康是一个人所能拥有最好的财富。钱能做许多事情，但是它却不能购买。然而，只要一个人有良好的健康，他就能享受人生的乐趣。

I hope to hold a job that excites me.I want to have a successful career so that I can take care of my family,and the best way to do that is to work in an area that I am interested in,so that I can be constantly motivated.With that condition,I will do my best.Of course,other pleasant qualities include having a nice boss and friendly coworkers,since a comfortable atmosphere is conducive to any process.I also hope that my job will be stable,so I wont have to feel insecure all the time.And if I have to transition,I hope that each job will prepare me well for future challenges.I know that I have the determination and talent to be a good worker.

to be honest, im honored to make friends with you. i still remember the days when we were together. as far as i know, you are the kindest person in the world. once we were together, you always treated me as if i were your dear brother, so i was grateful to you in my heart. after you leaving, i always thought of you. next time we have a chance to see each other, i will say "thank you" to you. thank you for your kindness. now i have got the meaning of my life.

The Spring Festival is coming. I know that you must be very fond of the Spring Festival. Because everyone can stick to the spring festival couplet, see the Spring Festival Gala, visit friends and friends … …

I remember when the Spring Festival approached last year, I learned to write couplets at home. I stood aside and looked at the couplets written by adults. I saw that they dipped in a pen with ink, and then wrote several big words on the red paper. I cant remember the specific content. The couplet was very neat, and I said to my uncle, &ldquo, can you teach me to write a couplet? ” I remember clearly the uncle asked, "“ do you use a brush?" Do you know how to write a couplet? ” I shook my head and said, “ no. ” so he said, "“ you have grown up for one year again, and you cant even use a brush. Ill teach you a few tricks at this opportunity." ” after hearing the uncles words, I jumped up happily.

The uncle told me to sit straight while writing, not on the table. And then tell me in detail how to use the brush. After listening to my uncles words, I finally learned some of the most basic ways to use the brush. Then the uncle asked me to write a few words to show him. I wrote five words: “ I love Chinese &rdquo most; Written askew, probably just use a brush! The uncle saw a smile: “ the word was written well, but the pen was not straight. ”

So my uncle taught me: “ when writing every word, it is not to use the same strength to write every word, but the power should be changed with weight. The written words will be more varied and look more beautiful. The uncle finished the demonstration and wrote several words to imitate me. It is comfortable to look at the words written by the uncle. I tried to write a few words on my uncles look, and I really made progress. I was much happier than I had just written.

The uncle also told me that writing should be often trained to imitate the name. The more it is written, the more writing it is, the better it is.

In this Spring Festival, I have learned a little bit of writing brush writing skills, is really more happy than to get the money, but also more affordable.

Recently, I read a great book,Childhood,which is written byGorky. It’s a novel based on the experiences of the author’s tragic childhood, telling the stories about the author between his three to ten years old. Aliocha has a bad childhood. His father and mother die in his early ages, so that he has to live with his great-grandparents. His great-grandfather is bad tempered and his uncles hate him very much. Great-grandmother is the only person who cherished him. Besides, Aliocha also feel the pureness, friendship by his playmates. Through this book, we can see a poor, ugly society, but we also can see an adamant, compassionate little child who constantly pursuits of good things in life. It’s hard to imagine how he can stick to the faith of life in such bad environment. As for us, we live in a much better environment; of course we should cherish our happiness and be strong to face difficulties in life.

On the day of the new years day, we went to the &ldquo of the stone platoon; the Cyprinus island ” it was a beautiful and rich place.

That morning, I had just finished my breakfast and went to &ldquo in my seat boat, &rdquo, carp Island, because only a ship could go into the island. I ran on the boat and looked down, wow! The water is green! The water is like a mirror. I thought, when the shore was over, I rushed down again, colorful flowers, all kinds of beautiful, and I went inside again. This afternoon, when my father and mother were at home, I finished all the housework at home.

In the afternoon I returned home and began to help mom and dad do housework, from five at the beginning of the housework, busy until seven p.m., there are a lot of things, such as: middle sweeping, mopping the floor, garbage, laundry, folding clothes, flowers, clean the table and the glass and so on, I see table, ah!

Only five minutes, must do the housework, "jingle bell" the doorbell rang, I was a bit weird? Who is it? Or open the eye to see! It is mom and Dad! I hit the door said: "Mom and dad you wait a minute, right away, I gently shut the door" mom and dad felt it strange? What do the daughter at home? I’m glad to know that you are coming to my city during the summer vacation.

However, I’m afraid there’s some bad news. I’m planning to take part in an international conference to be held in another city during the time of your visit.
