crowded. We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.

Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

The Dragon Boat Festival， also called Double Fifth Festival， is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth moon of the lunar calendar. It is one of the most important Chinese festivals，the other two being the Autumn Moon Festival and Chinese New Year.

The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

我和爸爸来到河边，我模仿着爸爸的样子，在钓钩穿上蚯蚓甩到河里去。没到半个小时，我各爸爸提着沉甸甸的一桶鱼回来了。表哥也不赖，捡回了一大堆枯草、树枝。那一天，我们吃到了自已钓的小鱼、小虾，还有几个小螃蟹，我们甭提有多快乐了。

还有一次，那是我各表姐一起在家里制作“肯德基”。我们到超市采购了一番，有马铃薯、西红柿、青菜、可乐、面包圈、鸡蛋等。回到家，我们忙乎起来，我先把马铃薯切条撒上盐，用油炸过;面包圈在烤箱烤热，中间放入蛋片和青菜，表姐用西红柿制成了蕃茄酱……一小时后，满身大汗的我们吃到了自制的炸薯条、汉堡包、冰可乐……

“快乐”就是这么一个好伙伴，它一直陪伴着我，你们也需要这样的伙伴吗?

I’m very glad to tell you about my winter holiday .It will be both relaxing and meanful . Let me tell you in detail.

First, studying is the most important thing for me, so I have to finish my homework carefully and do lots of exercises everyday .I’ll probably have two or three lessons so that I can make more progress.

Then I should do sports at the same time. Not only because the PE exam in next term, but also for my own health.

Phsics interests me a lot ,and I also like to read some books about it in my free time ．At the end of the vacation,maybe I’ll go sighting with some friends and some books to another city .

I think my plan is the best possible one .I’m hopeful the winter holiday will come soon .

Before Teachers Day, we were thinking what gift we would give our liuxue86.com English teacher on that day. Wang Ming said, "Our English teacher is tired and shirsty after class. Lets give her a bottle of water. " "Thats a good idea,"we agreed."

On Teachers Day, as soon as the teacher came into the classroom, we all stood up and shouted "Happy Teachers Day!" Our monitor went to the from and gave her a card and a bottle of water with our best wishes. Our teacher dran.

Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of Augustlunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject the temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.

First of all, Mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunion. In China, people regard Mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional festival. There are laws tomake sure people have holidays on that special day. In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get together.

Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal on that day. All the food is delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interested in delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration forMid-autumn day. It tastes good, too. It is the tradition for a long time. How pleased to enjoy the glorious full moon with mooncake!

This is why I love Mid-autumn festival so much.

——读唐代诗人孟郊的《游子吟》感怀

“慈母手中线，游子身上衣。临行密密缝，意恐迟迟归。谁言寸草心，报得三春晖。”孟郊的这首《游子吟》，我早在小时候就已经熟背，但我还是常常翻出重温品咂，每次的感受并不一样，但常常读到的最令我感动的是慈母对游子的关爱。这首诗，前面四句写出了母亲对游子出行的牵挂和期盼游子早归的心情。而后两句则表现了游子对母亲那关爱的报答。整首诗将母爱的力量描写的淋漓尽致。关于母爱、亲情的经典并不只是这一首诗作，还有像课文中学到的林海音的《爸爸的花儿落了》，歌曲《世上只有妈妈好》等许多妇孺皆知的经典之作。

母爱是玉帝送给刚出生的我们的第一件礼物，也是最好的礼物。大家可以想一想，我们是在谁的哺育下长大。是在谁的教导下学会做人的道理，是谁在我们身处险境时，第一个挺身而出，是谁在我们伤心时伤心，是谁在我们快乐时快乐?那就是母亲，那是母亲心中的一股力量，一股母爱的力量!也许母亲会打我们，会骂我们，但我们应该从母亲的角度想想。那一位母亲不是望子成龙，望女成凤?在她们打我们，骂我们的同时，她们的心中有多么痛苦?她们的爱是伟大的、无私的、是无处不在的。记得小时候，家里并不富裕，但妈妈还是省吃省穿，让我吃好喝好。我长得越高了，越胖了，可母亲却落了一身的病。后来国家发展了，家里的生活水平也提高了，但母亲对我的爱却没有减少。不仅我的母亲如此，天下所有的母亲都是这样。甘肃舟曲泥石流中，就有这样一位为儿子而失去生命的母亲。那位母亲在泥石流来时，将自己的儿子举过头顶，并安抚着自己的儿子让他慢慢安睡。在泥石流堆积到脖子时，她用一只手托举着她的儿子，用另一只手拔开堆积在脖部的泥石，让自己呼吸通畅，并不断嘱咐自己撑住，不能倒下。因为她知道，一但她倒下了，儿子也会失去生命。她撑住了，在救援人员将她的儿子救出时，她才安心的闭上了眼睛。整整8个小时啊，她一直将儿子托举在自己的上方!

不但人类的母亲这样，动物界的母亲也是这样。我从一篇文章中看到，乡里黄鼠很多，人们就在田里放夹子，夹黄鼠卖它的皮。一天一位农民去查看放置的夹子，发现有一个夹子上只有一张黄鼠皮，而黄鼠却不见了。这位农民沿着血迹一直走，最后看到的是令人痛心和震撼的一蓦：一只没有皮的母黄鼠趴在窝中，一群小黄鼠躺在她的怀里，黄鼠妈妈已经死了，身体已经僵了。黄鼠妈妈是为了自己的孩子不被饿死才撕裂皮肉挣托赶回家的。母亲的爱陪伴着我们长大，我们也应有所报答。“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖。”只要我们长大后不辜负母亲的关爱，成为一个对祖国、对家乡有用的人，母亲就会开心的。

母爱是最基础的爱，若没有了母爱就如同学习没有了基础，无论以后多么努力都是徒劳。所以母爱是伟大的，无私的，无微不至的，也是最基础的。我希望世界上的母亲把对子女的爱扩展到对所有孩子的爱，扩展到所有人的爱，对社会的爱，因为只要社会多充满一些爱，社会会变得更加美好，更加和谐。
