Body language is used by people for sending messages to one another. It is very useful because it can help you make yourself easily understood. When you are talking with others,you are not just using words, but also using expressions and gestures. For example, waving ones hand is to say "Good-bye." Clothes are so significant in our daily life that we cant live without

them, because they are useful in many ways. For example, clothes could keep us

High school is very important in one’s lifetime. Nowadays, the movies about the high school time are so popular, but the stories are exaggerated, my memories about high school life are so different from the movie. During the three years, study occupied most of my time. I fought for the future with my classmates. We studied together and shared our opinion about the difficult points. When I made great progress, I was so happy, but when I fell behind, I would not give up. I grew up and became patient, I was not the little girl anymore. I had a great time throughout my may day holiday.

On monday, i went bbq with my classmates who threw a celebration party at our middle school principles flat. our parents were invited to the party. everybody was excited about the holiday. i ate a lot of delicious food at that time.

On tuesday, i went visiting my uncles family with my parents. we went to celebrate our good time at a fancy restaurant in shanghai. later that day, we sang karaoke in my uncles house. we stayed for the night.

On wednesday, i went shopping with my cousins. we bought some brand name t-shirts and pants. in the afternoon, my cousins gave me a fun ride on the city highway. they also taught me how to drive their fancy car, so i tried to do some turning and parking. it was not easy first. but i learnt quick.

on thursday, we returned home with many gifts from our trip. i tried to get some rest. at night, i chatted with my classmates on the phone, and i watched cctv before going to bed.

From friday on, i started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. some of my assignments were quite boring. after i finished the homework, i emailed them to my teachers. that was the end of it. i started to prepare things for school on this coming monday.

一次次的失败，一次次的总结，但每次结果却没什么大的变化。成绩的不见好转，说明我自己在思想上存在问题，所以当务之急并不是解决成绩，而是思想上的问题，因为这将关系到我一生的命运。

成绩问题的确很让人头疼，不过路是自己选的，问题也应由自己来承担，针对单科存在的问题还是应该系统的分析。

这次考试语文试卷得了104分，放在高一高二的确是个高分，但对于高三来说，语文110分以下的成绩都是低分。汉语作为母语，每个人在思想中都已形成了一种固定的模式，所以要人为的改变这种模式确实有点困难。语文卷总的来看，影响成绩的还是选择和作文，这就涉及到一些基础知识，基础知识丢分，我个人认为还是比较好弥补的。我还是很有信心在第二次月考中突破110分的~

数学自古以来就是文科生的弱科，但这个社会又是一个弱肉强食的社会，如果你不强，就注定被人吃掉。所以我还是选择无条件的提升数学成绩，针对此次考试，数学卷子综合来说还是比较简单，但因马虎未审清题意，所以丢了许多不该丢的分。此次数学考试，就我个人看来124分是正常分数，因为这124分都是基础分，最次也得过120分。上高三以来我的数学成绩一直是教室里最好的，但这次的失误令我十分懊悔，希望没有令数学老师失望，下次月考，我会拿回本属于我的东西。

英语常被中国人看作第二种语言，但在经济发达、国际交流日益频繁的今天，英语早已成为了中国的第二种母语。汉语、英语不过关，很难在社会上生存，此外还必须掌握日语或法语第二门语言。香港大学的面试更是以英语为沟通方式，由此可见，英语对于我们这些90后来说非常重要，必须无条件的学好英语。

政史地一直被人们视为小科，但自分文理以来，政史地就已占据了半片江山，想要考高分，政史地绝不能缺腿。可我现在还仅仅是拘泥于及格…首先在基础上我就很不过关，所以受题的难易程度影响很大。感觉基础上的问题是最好解决的，只要付出时间与努力就应得到相应的收获，但事实证明，并没我想得那么简单。上高中以来，欠下了太多的债，现在想一次性还清的确很不现实。现在我所能做的就是坚持，不屏弃。正如政治说的那样“做好量的积累，抓住时机，促成之变”。

已经在路上，就不要忘记出发时所说的话。是否还记得当初许下的承诺，是否还记得当初夸下的海口。做人应做到“无悔”，已经到了这步田地，结果怎样，已经不重要了，重要的是过程，我们到底为人生积累的多少的财富。从高考考场走出，是否敢对自己说“我无悔”，如果能，那就没有对不起这三年的努力，就不会给自己的人生留下遗憾。

The Origin of Halloween

While there are many versions of the origins and old customs of Halloween, some remain consistent by all accounts. Different cultures view Holloween somewhat differently but traditional Halloween practices remain the same.

Halloween culture can be traced back to the Druids, a Celtic culture in Ireland, Britain and Northern Europe. Roots lay in the feast of Samhain, which was annually on October 31st to honor the dead.

Samhain signifies "summers end" or November. Samhain was a harvest festival with huge sacred bonfires, marking the end of the Celtic year and beginning of a new one. Many of the practices involved in this celebration were fed on superstition.

The Celts believed the souls of the dead roamed the streets and villages at night. Since not all spirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to pacify the evil and ensure next years crops would be plentiful. This custom evolved into trick-or-treating.

尽管关于万圣节的起源和旧俗有很多不同的看法，但有一些是被所有人接受的。不同文化看待万圣节总是有点不同，但是传统的万圣节做的事情都是一样的。

万圣节文化可以追溯到德鲁伊教，这是一种爱尔兰、北欧和英国的凯尔特文化，根植于Samhain节的庆祝活动，Samhain节于每年的10月31日纪念逝者。

Samhain节说明夏天结束或者十一月，是一个丰收的节日。在Samhain节会燃起神圣巨大的篝火，标志着凯尔特一年的结束和新一年的开始。一些做法因为迷信被加入庆祝活动中。

凯尔特人相信死者的灵魂会在夜里出没在街道和村庄。因为他们认为不是所有的灵魂都是友善的，所以就把礼物和好吃的留在外面安慰恶灵来确保来年的庄稼可以丰收。这种习俗演变成了trick-or-treating。

There we bought many interesting souvenirs,I was planing to send them to my friends.We ate many tings there,such as fish,prawn,and so on.They are very delicious.Then we lived in a clean and tidy hotel,and the price was not so expensive.I like Qingdao very much,and if I got a chance,I hope to come here again,it is such a beautiful and interesting place.

When my friends ask me to take pictures of them, they will take a lot of pictures and then only keep a few of them.

Because they are not satisfied with most pictures, they think they are not perfect.

Actually, when I look at the pictures, there is nothing serious in my eyes, everyone in the pictures look as they are.

The New Year, new weather. Out of their homes, families are decorated; Street, beaming everywhere, laughter. The breath of spring flowers reflected the joy of thepeople in the face.

New Years eve firecrackers rang a hanging outside and another hung, thunderbolt barak ring; Inside the home, everyone was laughing, lively!

In these days, in the morning, people usually watch TV, play computer, only a few people in the homework. In the afternoon, a lot of people in Chen yi square to play, I also went to, Im going to fly a kite. First of all, I put the kite on the ground, thewind blows I started to run...
