家乡还有众多珍馐美味，出名的有富贵飘香卷、糖油饼、荞面筋筋等小吃。金针菜为家乡的特产，许多城市都是从这里进口新鲜的金针菜，寻找美味。镇原又称“红杏乡”，一到杏子成熟时节，漫山遍野的杏香味儿，将摘下的杏子可以晒成杏干，只要家中有人咳嗽，可以泡上一杯，比蜂蜜还管用。
