在那是一个风和日丽的下午，我在车站等车。不一会儿，车就来了，我随着人流挤进车上，车门一关，那种扑面而来的热气便压得我喘不过起来。大概行驶了两三站吧，只见一位四五十岁的中年妇女上来了，手里还提着几包大大小小的东西，好不容易找到了个座位坐下。她像是费了很大力气似的叹了口气，擦擦额头上的汗，抱怨着什么。我瞥了她几眼，便没去在意。“咳咳——”一阵令人不舒服的咳嗽声传来。那位中年妇女努努嘴一口把痰吐在了地上！我看着地上粘稠的痰，一阵恶心，心想：这人怎么这么没素质，这可是在公共场所！车上的人也看了她几眼。但那位中年妇女却好似什么事也没有一样，接着又掏出纸巾擦了擦脸颊上的汗，随手就把纸巾扔在地上。正在这时，身旁一位年过花甲的老大爷开口了：“这位同志，你可不能把痰随便吐在地上啊！公共汽车这么拥挤，脚都没地方搁，你这么随地吐痰，我们站那里呀，看了多恶心呀！”说着，他顺手捡起脚底下那团纸巾，叹口气说：“嗨，现在的年轻人哪，怎么就这样不爱护环境呢？”接着上前三步，丢进了垃圾桶。那位中年妇女听了这话，脸涨得通红，头也不敢抬一下了。车上的人也都用一种敬佩的目光望着那位老大爷，我也为之佩服不已。

As we all know, the environment around us is getting worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted, we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals are getting less and less. Some factories are pouring dirty air into the sky. The population is increasing faster and faster, resources are getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also has a great affection in the future. People’s health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, something must be done to stop the pollution. 从前，我的家乡是一个幽静美丽的小山村，村里的小河清澈见底，在阳光的照耀下波光粼粼，小河四周绿草如茵，花儿姹紫嫣红，艳丽无比，天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润，树木郁郁葱葱，美丽极了!

现在的家乡，发生了翻天覆地的变化，小山村从原来高矮不一的房子变成了现在一排排拔地而起的高楼大厦;以前泥泞的土路，现在变成了宽阔的水泥路;以前的街上人烟稀少，现在我的家乡新建了商业步行街，那儿繁华热闹，商店里琳琅满目的商品让人看了眼花缭乱。这一切，使我的家乡焕然一新，繁华美丽。

可如今，唯一不足的是家乡的环境在一天天地遭到破坏和污染。因为我的家乡就在工业区附近，工业污染比较严重。工业污染不仅破坏了生物的生存环境，而且直接危害着我们人类的健康。工厂里排放出来“三废”，即废水、废气、废渣，严重地影响到了我们的环境。废水流到小河里，转眼间，小河的水变成了黑色，里面的鱼儿大部分都死了，浮在河面上，微风吹过，不时发出一阵阵难闻的气味。废气传到空气中，空气受到了严重的污染，人们再也呼吸不到清新甜润的空气了。废渣堆放到地上，使土壤严重地遭到破坏，如果在这些土壤里种植庄稼，那些庄稼必定很难成活。

我想，每个人都向往干净而又舒适的生活环境，为了使我们的家乡天更蓝，水更清，景色更美，让我们一起努力，共同来好好保护家乡的环境吧!
