材料作文，是根据所给材料和要求来完成写作的一种作文形式。与其他类型的作文题相比，材料作文在审题、构思、立意等方面均有一定难度，加强材料作文的审题、立意训练，对同学们应对中考作文，无疑是有帮助的。 根据材料呈现中心内容的深浅，我们将其分为明确、隐晦、多元三种类别。下面我们结合2008年部分地区中考材料作文题，对明确、隐晦、多元三类作文材料审题立意方法分别进行讲解。

1.因果推断法。材料作文，从呈现形式上看，一般由材料（故事、情景设置或图画等）和写作要求两个部分组成。有的材料作文题，材料的主旨和要求是很明确的。请看2008年浙江绍兴中考作文题： 仔细阅读下面文字，完成作文。 情景：小文远离父母在外地读中学，汶川特大地震发生后，他想把由父母替他储蓄的500元压岁钱捐给灾区。小文知道自己的家境并不富裕，但他觉得必须说服父母取出这笔钱，献出他的爱心。 尝试：请你以小文的身份，给父母写一封信，表达这种心愿。 这道作文题的材料是预设的生活场景：小文欲将父母替自己储蓄的500元压岁钱捐给灾区。文题要求以小文的身份写信给他的父母，说服家境并不富裕的父母将此钱捐出。虽然上面这道作文题题意和要求很明确，但是如何准确立意，还是值得思考的。在这里，我们可采用“因果推断法”，即由材料的结果找出原因，最终得出材料的中心。写信的结果是要说服父母将钱捐出，用什么理由（原因）说服父母，让他们心动呢？这很关键。因为涉及到文章的立意问题。有同学从灾难的严重，到灾民的无助；从抗震的艰辛，到救灾的感人等；结合自己家境的实际情况，从现状分析入手，陈述自己作出此举的理由，其立意显然胜人一筹。

2.提炼话题法。材料作文的材料，有的主旨是很鲜明的，有的则比较隐晦，这类隐晦的材料作文审题立意比较费力。下面我们来看2008年安徽芜湖中考作文题： 阅读下面的诗句，按照要求作文。 我不去想是否能够成功/既然选择了远方/便只顾风雨兼程/我不去想未来是平坦还是泥泞/只要热爱生命/一切，都在意料之中 要求：请你结合诗句的内容，选取自己感受最深的一点，自拟题目，写一篇不少于500字的文章。你可以抒发感情，可以发表看法，也可以讲述故事；文中不要出现真实的地名、校名、人名。 这个题目中的材料选自现代著名诗人汪国真的《热爱生命》，给同学们以美的享受，但诗的主旨比较隐晦，为审题设置了一定的障碍。写作的前提是你要读懂材料，然后根据要求，选择其中感受最深的一点立意构思。通过阅读，我们可概括出这首诗的内涵：人生要有目标，虽然路上注定有坎坷和荆棘，但只要坚持，只要努力奋斗，风雨过后必能见到彩虹。对此，我们可提炼出“目标”“理想”“坚持”等话题，写自己在学习、生活中遭遇困难以及自己如何定下目标，坚定不移地走下去，最终取得成功的故事；也可结合生活中典型人物的事例，发表“不经风雨，怎见彩虹”的感想；等等。

3.择一而作法。有的材料作文的材料内涵很丰富，其作文立意可以是多元的，我们可从中多角度提炼观点。请看2008年湖北黄冈中考作文题之一的作文材料： 薛谭跟秦青学唱歌，还没有把秦青的技艺学完，就自以为都学到手了，便向老师告辞回家。秦青也没有阻拦他，在城外的大道旁给他饯行。这时候秦青抚摩着拍板，慷慨激昂地高唱起来，声音振动了林间的树木，反激出的回声挡住了天上的行云。 薛谭便急忙向老师道歉，要求回去继续学习，从此以后，他一辈子再也不敢说回家的话。 材料是在讲述“薛谭学讴”的故事，其内涵丰富，角度多元。我们在阅读的过程中，要对材料认真分析，找准材料揭示寓义的角度，审出材料的写作指向，从而确定写作主题。我们可采用“择一而作”法，从材料的不同角度切入，选择最适合自己的一个角度来构思立意。如可从薛谭的角度构思，提炼出“持之以恒”“知错能改”等主题；可从秦青的角度构思，提炼出“言传不如身教”“因材施教”等主题。 总之，写材料作文，应注意以下几个方面：首先要读懂材料。因为材料作文的“材料”是命题的载体，读懂材料，才能为写作打好基础。其次，要明确要求。材料作文的写作要求是写作的限制性条件，这些要求包括文体要求、篇幅要求、拟题要求等。只有明确了这些要求，写作时才不会开“无轨电车”。第三，要写出新意，也就是要在“新”字上入手，可在角度的选择、文章的立意、表现方法的运用、篇章的布局上下工夫。

My favourite great book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.

Tom Sawyer is a lively and clever boy. He lives with his aunt Polly. His

aunt is strict with him, so he runs to an island in the middle of the

Mississippi River with two friends, Huck and Joe. With Huck, he goes looking for

treasure; with Becky, he gets lost in a cave. And finally Tom and Huck find a

box of gold. Tom is the hero of the story, but there are other important

characters. Becky is pretty with fair hair. Huck is Toms best friend, and Injun

Joe is the bad man of the story.

The theme of the story is to do with children growing up and becoming more

serious.

Hometown is the place where a person belongs. Chinese people have special

feelings about their hometown. No matter where they go, they won’t abandon it

and always make some time to visit. My hometown brings me so many happy memories

and I wish it could keep its original face forever.

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a small village, so people

there get familiar with each other. When we walked on the country road, everyone

smiled when we saw each other. There was no distance for us. In the daytime, I

liked to go boating in the small river with my friends, or sometimes I could

catch fish. The green trees around me and I could hear the birds singing all the

time. It was a paradise for me.

Whether persons would spend their entire lives in one place or not concerns (is a matter of)their life style. In my view, I would be very happy if I have opportunities to live in different places. The arguments for this propensity are listed as follows.

One of the most crucial reasons for my view is that we could (can)have more opportunities to realize our dreams in the process of moving between places. Nevertheless moving between cities perhaps is more attractive to young persons than staying in one place thorough their lives.

From all the reasons mentioned above, it is not difficult to get the conclusion that if it is possible, I would move a number of times throughout my lives to look for the best job, house or climate I am eager for.

Recently, I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.

本学期，我将结合学校工作计划和学校教学工作计划的要求，规范常规教学，提高教学质量，努力形成自己的教学特色。

一、总体思路

以努力提高教学质量为目标，以抓好教学常规工作，提高英语合格率为重点，采用任务型教学法，注重“学困生”的教育补差工作，形成良好的教学风气。

二、学生情况分析

经过一学期的学习，从上期期末成绩来看，七年级两个班的英语成绩比较理想。平均分82分。大部分学生学习目的明确，态度端正，掌握了英语学习的一些基本方法，能够积极主动认真地学习，学习成绩较好。但还有少部分学生没有明确的学习目的，缺少学习的热情和主动性，自觉性较差，相应的学习习惯也差，加上两极分化十分严重。

三、教材分析

《Goforit》七年级下册共14个单元，包括2个复习单元。全书采用任务型语言教学模式，融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构，形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。每个单元都列出明确的语言目标，主要的功能项目与语法结构，需要掌握的基本词汇，并分为A、B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容，B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还有selfcheck部分，供学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识。它采用“语言的输入---学生的消化吸收---学生的语言输出”为主线编排的。

四、教学目标

掌握本册书上的重点词汇、词组以及句型。通过本学期的学习，培养学生对英语的学习兴趣，形成有效的学习策略，有效提高学习效率，发展双基能力;培养听、说、读、写的能力，使学生初步获得运用英语的能力，达到语言运用能力的迁移和拓展;通过了解世界，了解不同地区的人文风俗，学会理解和尊重异国文化，并使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人，能在小组活动中积极与他人合作，相互帮助，共同完成学习任务，尽情享受学习的乐趣。

五、教学措施

1、加强词汇教学，包括单词拼写、词义记忆，语言功能的训练。

词汇是文章、句子的基本单位，词汇量的大小，将直接关系到学生能否流利地运用英语进行交际;能否熟练地用英语读和写;能否顺利地用英语思考。从上学期的期末考试所反映的问题看，在今后的教学中，在加强拼读与拼写的同时，应帮助学生进行有意识记，应加强对词的用法及内在含义的理解，要培养学生用英语解释单词的能力，逐步启发引导学生用英语思考。单词教学一定要做到词不离句，这样，学生在学会了单词的同时，也学会了词的一些基本用法。

2、每天背诵课文中的对话，培养语感。

3、基本的语法教学一定要与语境相结合。

进行语法操练时，要坚持“四位一体”，即话题、语境、结构、功能相结合。抓住话题，联系语境，确定语法结构，明确语法功能(交际功能)。要重视语法知识对于培养语言运用功能的基础作用，又要注重改革教法。课堂上一定要有生动活泼的教学活动。

4、进一步培养阅读能力和写作能力。

阅读和写作能力的培养是英语教学的又一重点。阅读和写作能力的培养在于平时。教师在平时讲解阅读理解题时，应着力帮助学生分析语言材料，而不是核对答案;平常应该多写作文。

5、做好学困生转化和优秀生培养工作。

Boundless sea to look forward to, give people the beauty, give a person

The sea is like a poem; it jumps; like a picture, rich in meaning; and like

a symphony, vast and mighty...... It is like a mirror; sometimes calm, sometimes

is blue world, is also the cradle of life. Pregnant with many free and small

life. The sea is so mysterious, so charming!

Now the sea has changed. The sea is no longer clear, it becomes muddy and

I dont think our school life is colorful. Because weve got so many classes every day. I wonder whether we can change our school life someday. You see, from Monday to Friday, I have to stay at school. the only relaxation is to listen to the radio or play ball games. At weekends, we need to go to school to have classes, too. What does it mean to relax?Despite hearing this term thousands of times

一、单项选择题

(1)先易后难：一些考题的答案比较容易选定，可以先从这些考题入手。平时练习时，应以基础为主，主要精力不应放在偏题、怪题上。

(2)分析考查意图、运用相关知识：应学会分析出题者考查的意图，明确相关题的测试点是什么，然后运用所学知识，进行分析、判断，再进行选择。

(3)利用暗示进行选择：注意考题涉及的语境范围。平时应注重对习惯用语表达、惯用法和中英文化差别等方面知识的积累。

(4)运用排除法：可采取语言排除、逻辑排除、语法排除或选择排除等方法。先排除较容易、较明显的错误选项，缩小范围，而后对剩余的选项进行比较分析，最后确定答案。

二、完形填空题

1、搭配判断法。

根据对以往试题的分析，搭配型考题在完形填空题中占的比例最高。搭配型问题主要测试常见搭配的熟练程度，比如说哪些词要搭配不定式、动名词或某种从句，哪些词必须与某个介词搭配。我们在复习时要特别注意短语动词和介词的固定搭配。

2、结构判断法。

结构型问题主要包括句型、句式、连接词的选择等，解题时要运用句法知识，把握关键词，从而做出迅速正确的判断。完形填空题中有很多是利用语法的正确性与逻辑的排斥性间的矛盾来设计的。因此考生应结合上下文的合理性及意义关系的逻辑性选择最佳答案。完形填空中常考的逻辑关系主要有：

(1)转折、让步关系：这种关系表明后一种观点或事实与前一种观点或事实相比有些出乎意料。

常见的表示转折、让步的词或词组有：but，still，yet，however，though，although，no matter，in spite of，anyway，even if等。

(2)因果关系：

表示原因的连词或词组有：because (of )，due to，owing to，thanks to，since，for，as等。

表示结果的词或词组有：so，therefore，then，as a result，in consequence，consequently，thus等。

(3)递进、补充关系：这种关系表示对前一事实或观点做进一步阐述。

常用的词、词组有：moreover，likewise，besides，in addition，also，too，not only…but also，apart from，what‘s more 等。

(4)对比、比较关系：对比观点或事物间的差异性，比较观点或事物间的同一性。

表示对比的词或词组有：in contrast，by contrast，on the contrary，conversely，unlike，oppositely 等。表示比较的词或词组有：like，in comparison，compare…with，as，just as等。

3、词义判断法。

词汇型问题也是完形填空的一个考点，主要测试考生在段落语篇中把握语义连贯性的能力，提供选择的词可能是近义词、近形词也可能是随意拼凑的四个选项，遇到这类题，既要联系上下文，又要具有扎实的词汇基础，有时还须根据自己的文化背景知识做出判断、选择答案。

三、阅读理解

在做阅读理解题时，除了掌握前面介绍的基本题型、基本法则外，还要进行有意识的阅读训练。提高阅读能力的训练主要可以从下面几个方面入手：词汇、方法、侧重点。

1、词汇：猜词的技巧。

在阅读过程中，不可避免地会碰到不认识的单词，考试中又不允许查词典，有些不认识的单词对文章的理解影响不大，可以忽略。但有些不认识的单词则会影响阅读者对文章理解的正确性。在这种情况下，必需猜测词的含义，这就需要利用猜词的技巧了。

最基本的猜词技巧有两种：一是根据构词法的规则猜，构词法的规则在前面的章节中已有介绍，这里就不重复了;另一种猜词的技巧是根据上下文的描述、解释、列举、比较等，运用已有的知识，分析、推断该词的含义。常用的猜词技巧可归纳为以下几种：

(1)利用词根、词缀构词法推测词义。通过构词法推测词义是最常用的方法之一。

(2)分析文中对该词的直接定义推测词义。

作者在行文中有时不得不使用某些难词、偏词，为使读者理解，作者常常会在文章中直接解释该词语。作者或通过同位语，或使用定语从句加以阐明，或用冒号、破折号、括号给出，或用语篇标志词引出，这类语篇标志词有：that is (to say); e.g.;oor，in other words;to put it in another way等。如：

She is bilingual.In other words，she speaks English and French equally well.(bilingual：会说两种语言的)。

(3)分析文中对该词的近义复述推测词义。

同一短文中前后两个句子、短语或单词通常有互释作用，可以从上下文的复述中获取与某一单词或短语相关的信息以猜测词义。如：

It is difficult t

o list all of my fathe‘s attributes because he has so many different talents and abilities.(attribute：特质;才能)

(4)分析文中对该词的对比和并列表述推测词义。

利用上下文中的对比或并列表述猜测词义是最常用、最可靠的方法。有不少句子会在上下文中给出某个生词(尤其是偏词、难词)的同义词或反义词，运用对比或并列表达对这些生词加以推测。通过了解词与词之间的连接关系，特别是一些语篇标志词，如：however;on the other hand;nevertheless等，我们不难推断这些生词的词义。如：

If you agree，write “yes”;if you dissent，write “no”。(dissent：不同意）

I like reading novels, because in the novels, I can imagine the world that

the author creates, I treat myself as part of the novels, it feels like that I

witness all the incidents. I especially like to read short novels, because I

don’t have so much to read the long novels, I am studying in the high school, I

have many subjects to learn. I have little time only on the weekends. Short

novels only costs me about one day to finish reading, while the long novels will

take me more than a week to finish, if I hang on reading part of it, I will

think about it all the time and can’t focus my mind on studying. What’s more, I

like to read novels more than twice, so it is easy to do for me to read short

novels. I gain so much for read these short novels.
