［评析］这篇说明文抓住了水是无色、无嗅、无味的液体这一特征为的中心，围绕这个中心组织材料，选择了比较说明的方法，拿水同木块、石块比形状，拿水同牛奶比颜色，拿水同烧酒比气味、比味道。相互比较以后，水的特征得到了充分的显示。

在说明事物过程中，为了突出有些比较抽象、陌生，一时难以讲清的事物的特点，增强说明效果，常常要采用比较的说明方法。有比较才有鉴别，比较是人们在认识事物中常用的一种思维方法，把大家熟悉的事物或通俗易懂的道理去和抽象的、陌生的作比较，使大家对事物有所了解，让读者产生由此及彼、由表及里的理解过程，最终充分认识事物的特征。这是因为事物的特征往往可以在同另一事物的比较中显现出来。这里需要指出的是，比较的先决条件是要找出比较事物之间可以值得比较的共同点，然后方能通过比较的方法来同中求异，说明事物的各自特点。换言之，在进行比较时，必须有相同之点才能作比。就拿上文说吧！在就物体的形态来比时，把水和石块、木块相比；就物体的颜色来比时，把水和牛奶来相比。倘若反过来，把水和牛奶放在一起比形态，把水和烧酒放在一起比颜色，岂不引起一片混乱！另外，还要注意到；被比较的事物是说明的对象，用作比较的事物是应该大家相当熟悉和非常具体的。比如上面选用的牛奶、石块等都是熟悉的和具体的，所以大家容易理解、容易接受。如果用作比较的事物比要说明的对象还要难以理解，是陌生的、是抽象的，那么，根本就无法达到说明的目的。

I remember it like yesterday.We were all waiting patiently for my father to come home from the race track.He promised me and my sister that if he won,he would take us all to Rye Playland.

The minutes felt like hours.It was the longest hour of my life.Then finally we heard the car door shut.Me and my sister ran to the front door anxiously waiting for the news.He opened the door and walked in.We tried to read the expression on his face but of course he was looking down while taking his sneakers off.

The suspense was killing us.Then he looked up.No words were spoken between us and our father.He just gave us a blank stare.I didnt know what to think.I was scared to ask because I was so worried of the response.

一. 肯定不如否定好

修辞的使用在书面表达中算作很大的亮点，在高中阶段很少有学生会注重修辞的应用。

双重否定也是种修辞，而且对于考生来说，只要稍加注意，可以在文章中设计双重否定的句子。

例如想表达“邮递员天天准时到”，如果写成The postman comes on time every day，就不如变成双重否定，The postman never fails to come on time，就变成了亮点句，起到强调作用。

“几乎每个人对生活的态度都不同程度受到地震的影响”，写成双重否定There was hardly a man or a woman whose attitude towards life had not been affected by the earthquake.

应用类似的修辞会在中为同学们加分。

二. 陈述不如倒装妙

在书面表达中阅卷老师喜欢看到的高级语法共有五种：倒装，强调，从句，独立主格和分词结构，以及虚拟语气。

倒装是一种最简单易行的使句子呈现亮点的方法。在高中阶段只需掌握倒装的四种形式，就足以应对书面表达。

We all wish (hope) to be happy, so we should take good care of our health.
