4. 那孩子不够大不能去上学。

正：The child is too young to go to school.

析：这是学生最容易写错的句子。enough to“足以、足够”。原句中“不够大不能去上学”意思是“不够上学的年龄”，故应译为not old enough to go to school。

5. 他们两个都不说英语。

说明文是以“说明”为主要表达方式，用来介绍或解释事物的状态、性质、构造、功用、制作方法、发展过程以及内在事理的一种实用文体。接下来小编告诉你英语说明文阅读答题技巧。

题型一：分析说明文的句子作用

这种题型的特点是：在文中抽出一个句子或一个文段，要求分析这个句子或文段在全文结构上的作用。这种题型解法很简单：首先判断句子或文段是在文首、文中、还是文末;然后再按如下规律答题即可。一般情况下，句子或文段在文中不同的位置有不同的作用：在文首，作用多是统领全文、总起全文或引出下文;在文中，作用多是承上启下;在文末，作用多是总结全文。

题型二：提出说明文说明的问题的解决办法
