析：有些动词如think, believe, expect, suppose, imagine, guess, fancy等的主语是第一人称单数且一般现在时，表示否定的观点应用I don’t think…，而I think… not则属于汉语式表达习惯。

正：We didn’t arrive home until it became completely dark.

析：此汉语句子里面尽管没有否定词，但until用于肯定句时意为“直到…为止”;用于否定句时，其意为“在…以前”。因此，表示“直到…才”用not…until。

误：I’ll not go to the party unless I’m not invited.

正：I’ll not go to the party unless I’m invited.

析：unless“除非”、“如果不”，常可用if…not来替换。误句中的条件状语从句双重否定表示肯定，结果与原句意思相反。

4. 那孩子不够大不能去上学。

误：The child is not old enough not to go to school.

正：The child is not old enough to go to school.

正：The child is too young to go to school.

析：这是学生最容易写错的句子。enough to“足以、足够”。原句中“不够大不能去上学”意思是“不够上学的年龄”，故应译为not old enough to go to school。

5. 他们两个都不说英语。

误：Both of them don’t speak English.

正：Neither of them speaks English.

析：中国学生特别对于all…not 和both…not等这种部分否定结构，很容易理解成全部否定。两者全部否定用neither, 三者以上用none。

①认真观察说明对象，抓住了特征;

②说明讲究了一定的顺序，条理性强;

③依据说明对象或说明内容采用合适的说明方法;

④语言表达讲究分寸，用语准确，并力求多样性。怎样才能写好说明文呢?首先，要抓住事物的特征。

所谓特征，就是事物本身的某一点(或几点)的独特属性，也就是这一事物与其他事物在本质上的差别,即这一事物区别于其他事物的标志。

要准确地把握特征，一要靠观察，二要靠比较。

我校九年级学生，有80%完全不会写作文，即除了“My name is XXX.”“I will. do，” 一个正确的句子都写不出来，剩下的5%也在以下方面存在一些常见的错误：

1、没有理解英语的基本句子成分是“主语”+“谓语”

学生经常出现主语跟谓语不一致，包括句子的谓语用得不恰当，谓语用词跟主语不搭配，一个句子没有主语，或多个句子杂在一起。

比如：学生想说“我母亲总是不让我看电视”，写出来的是“my mother always not be allowed I watch TV.”根本就是直接从汉语逐字翻译成英文的。

出现这样的问题，显然是由于句子的基本结构没有弄清楚。看来在今后教学中还要继续强调，并配合造例句练习。

2、动词短语搭配不准确

比如：“I’m not allowed watch TV.”正确的短语“被允许做某事”应该是“be allowed to do…”。

3、丛句语序和连接词问题

很不理解，为什么强调了那么多次，学生在写作文时，丛句语序还会写错？后者连接词和引导词也老师出错。对于连接词，我在讲的时候也感觉到学生没有理解。我讲解的方法就是把课文里面的丛句拿出来分析其语序和联系词，然后再讲相关语法点，最后举例子让学生造句。语序问题，我还会在将来碰到一次强调一次，相信会有效果。但是联系词我就不知道该怎么让孩子听懂了。

比如：“I don’t know that what should I do”“Could you please tell me should I do?”正确的句子应该是“I don’t know what I should do.”“ Could you please tell me what I should do?”.

以上这些问题让我对如何增强学生作文表达能力有了一个不全面的思考。我觉得，提高学生作文能力必须从七年级入手（小学重点在听说，只需知道what 和 how,不需求甚解；到中学阶段就必须知道why了）。

4、句子使用的句型单一

例如；在一次模拟考试当中英语的考试题目就是如果我当选了班长我会怎么做，做哪些事情，九年级五班的英语课代表张雅就一直用一个句型来写“I will do”，虽然全文当中没有一个错误，但因为句型单一所以值得8分，因此在老师教课的过程中还要不断的给学生讲 作文序加以变换句型且需对语句加以润色。

针对以上问题我以后在讲课文和精读篇阅读理解试题时，要注意以下两点：

1、利用课文逐句帮助学生分析理解英文句子的基本结构，即“主语+谓语”；

2、要求学生把有用的动词短语、名词短语以及插入语记牢记清楚。

3、每单元的语言目标，一定要理解并记忆。

4、是学生学会句子的变换使用，有必要时做些句型转换练习。

1、重视增加阅读量是提高英语写作的途径之一

目前，考生在进行大量阅读的同时，应注重所读材料的文章结构以及连接词的运用(ontheotherhand，however，furthermore)、作者的表达方式(词汇、习惯用语和典型句子的使用)、作者是如何进行叙述和议论的。

2、在教师的指导下，平时应勤写多练

一、要抓住事物的特征

三、说明文的语言要确切、简洁、通俗

确切：要求语言要确切。用词准确，不能夸大和缩小。

我也喜欢写作，从初中开始的了，比我减肥还要早。从前以为自己写的很好，就闲着没事一直写啊写的，从恐怖，色情，玄幻，童话，言情，都市，种种种种几乎都是写过的。直到现在，还是在写，谢写写停停，从一本本的厚本子到现在的一点点的码字。

第一次码字的时候是在九年级了，朋友建议我发到网上去，然后我脑子一热，还真就着稿子对着电脑码字，一码便是一个五一三天，即便是对着我的稿子，我也只码了1500字。当时就真的放弃了，还是写在本子上，可我的字太差又小，让我的读者们看得不习惯不好受，不过总还是有人看得，这便足以让我感到满足了。

谁知道从何时起开始码字的呢？可能是在学厨师的时候吧，我买了个平板，跟电脑一种系统的，再买了个无线鼠标键盘。游戏是玩不了太大的，就开始试着写吧。那时候真的是我创作的巅峰时期，每天都早上六点写作，一直码字，然后就存着。直到后来一次误删，删除完毕了。

那时候也喜欢用手机码字，手机慢，就在上完灶以后码。一篇篇故事在自己的指尖下创作出来的感觉总是有莫名的成就。可惜我的读者再也不在。我手机上的故事跟着我将它卖出去一样消失不见了。

到了现在吧，才发觉自己的写作技术还是太差了。是真差，只不过属于能将自己满腹牢骚散发出来的蠢蛋而已。我试过起点，但是没人看，我现在在红袖发，红袖有个很好的设定。就是短篇能给你评级。刚开始我被评了好几个c。我一直以为c很好的。然后有一次百度了下，才发觉c是最差的级别……

c就c吧，但是我总知道是有人看我写过的文章的。那几个数字，确确实实存在着。让我的心头一暖。这似乎成了我所有的动力。写吧！早起六点就写，反正早起习惯了。反正9点才上班。写到7点就去跑步，我还要减肥呢。顺道看看书吧，看看有没有值得改变的笔法。
