Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust, smoke and other dry particles ,and it obscure the clarity of the sky and interacts with the natural environment.

This kind of air pollutant come from a variety of natural and manmade sources. Natural sources can include windblown dust, and soot from wildfires. Manmade sources can include motor vehicles, and industrial fuel burning, and manufacturing operations. The one of the main cause that touches off haze is manufacturing operations. 三、火车上的注意事项：

2、火车行进过程中，车体会晃动，有时会急刹车，请营员行走过程中要保持身体的平衡。禁止在火车上随意穿行、奔跑。

五、用餐时：

用餐时不要着急，以免烫着;不要拥挤，饭不够可叫服务员再上，也可以向老师反映。

六、住宿时：

1、不得夜间擅自外出，有需要请告知全陪导游或老师，并要有人陪同，应特别注意安全;

2、入住时检查宾馆设施是否有问题，如有，及使通知导游或老师;

3、晚上按时就寝，查房后锁好门，不要让陌生人进入;

4、宾馆洗澡时不要嬉戏，注意防滑，调好水温，防止烫伤;

5、不得触摸电器线路板、插座等带电设施。

七、理财方面：

注意保管好自己的财物，大额现金可交由领队或老师保管，不在公共场所露出大额现金，不得随意乱花钱，从现在起，学做一个理财家。

八、行程中的注意事项：

1、团队行动一定要有整体观念。请听从领队老师和导游的安排，勿参加危险活动。晚上如需离开营地观光，请在取得老师同意后结伴前往，并牢记营地名称及地址、电话。

2、旅游旺季各景点游客很多，营员每天需带夏令营统一分发的双肩包、帽和胸卡，以便于识别;在旅游过程中，认清自己的队伍、队旗、领队辅导员和地陪导游，服从辅导员和导游安排，跟着导游的路线走，认真听导游的讲解，自由活动时间以小组为单位行动，注意集合的时间和上车的地点，认清自己乘坐的车号，以免跟错团。

My name is xxx. There are 4 people in my family. My father is a Chemistry teacher. He teaches chemistry in senior high school. My mother is an English teacher. She teaches English in the university. I have a younger brother, he is a junior high school student and is preparing for the entrance exam.

I like to read English story books in my free time. Sometimes I surf the Internet and download the E- books to read. Reading E- books is fun. In addition, it also enlarges my vocabulary words because of the advanced technology and the vivid animations.

I hope to study both English and computer technology because I am interested in both of the subjects. Maybe one day I could combine both of them and apply to my research in the future.
