折衷式又叫新华体。此种写作方式为「倒金字塔式」、「正金字塔式」的折衷，亦即，新闻中最重要的讯息仍然在导言中呈现，接著，则依新闻的时间性或逻辑性叙述。我们国家的新闻报道一般是遵循时间顺序，但是这种“讲故事”的写法已经不适合受众的阅读习惯(一般人没有时间听你讲长篇大论)，所以“新华体”在吸收中外新闻报道之长的情况下诞生了。

其次，在第二段进一步具体阐述导语中的这个重要部分，形成支持，不至于使受众在接受时形成心理落差。因而，第二段实际上是一个过渡性段落。

平铺直叙式顾名思义，此种写作方式就是注重行文的起、承、转、合，力求文字的流畅精准。对教师组织而言，由于时常必须发表对特定教育政策、事件的看法，此种写作方式反而适合组织在发表声明时使用。
