1、推敲含义。这种方法主要适宜于直接以词语为题目的文题。这类题目相对而言比较简单，考生只要能够准确把握词语的意义，就可以根据词义立意。例如今年湖南高考要求以《谈意气》为题，写一篇议论文。考生只要结合材料中提供的一种解释就可立意，如可谈志趣、性格与交友的关系;可谈意气用事的危害;还可通过历史人物(如苏轼、范仲淹等)生存状态的概说，表现他们超脱旷达、心忧天下的精神风貌。

2、理清关系。这种方法主要适宜于直接以短语为题目的文题。这类题目难度较大，考生首先必须了解短语的结构，明确它们的关系，然后确定写作方向。如《失败和成功》是对比关系，就要论证两者的互相转化;《人与路》(2006年江苏高考作文题)是选择关系，就要阐明两者之间的相互关系;《小溪、大河、大海》是比喻关系，就要分析它们所蕴涵的道理。

3、联类对比。这种方法主要适宜于写作重点难以把握的文题。对于这种命题，考生不妨将它与另一个相似的题目进行比较，从中辨明各自的侧重点确定立意。如果考生难以把握《谈六合  彩的危害》的重点，就可将它与《谈六合  彩的由来》进行比较，前者侧重于挖掘六合  彩的危害，后者侧重于探究六合  彩的起源。这样一来，写作重点就凸显了出来。

(二)话题型议论文的审题

1、重视概念的内涵。话题有时是以一个概念的形成出现的，比如“诚信”、“欣赏”、“选择”等。概念都具有特定的内涵，忽视了概念内涵就有走题之虞。如以“热”为话题作文，提示语中已经列举了“网络热”、“打工热”、“炒股热”等例子，指的是一种社会现象，就不能将“热”理解为“热情”、“热心”等。如果错误理解内涵，作文之始就误入歧途了。

2、重视背景语的指向。背景语往往是命题者着意营造的一种情境，不同的背景语引发的思维走向是不同的。只有审清了背景语的思维指向，才能保证写作中思维模式与文章内在文脉的贯通。

人的一生总要与书打交道，在与书的接触过程中，一定会有一些故事发生，之后就会有一些属于自己的思考。请以你与书的交往过程或以对书的思考为内容范围写一篇文章。

提示语中包含着丰富的信息，“你与书的交往过程”隐藏的限制至少有：(1)要写自己的，不能写他人的;(2)要写出过程，最好是写成散文或记叙文。“对书的思考”透露的信息则有：(1)要以写对书的感悟、体验以及书对“我”的启示教益为主;(2)文体上最好写随笔、杂感或议论文。有了上述思考，就可以保证在审题中没有大的失误。

考试作文审题是很重要的一环，写作水平再高，审题不准，偏离要求，也不能得高分。准确抓住中心要求，认真审题，审题关一过，构思就容易了。

二、引用论据

“事实胜于雄辩”，但初学者对材料论据往往原原本本地引用，以叙代议，结果不仅减弱了论据的作用，甚至淹没了论据。

一则事实材料的含义往往很丰富，叙述事实作论据时，就不能不考虑“取其一点”，这样才能集中火力真正有效地证明论点。所以，我们要学会对材料剪裁、概括与拓展。

从论点需要出发，注意叙述的角度，把握好材料的侧重点，剔除掉与论点无关的材料与数据，使二者尽可能吻合。

例如要论述“创造发明来自于勤于思考、善于分析”这个论点，可这样叙述：

瓦特的故事大家都很熟悉。小时候，看到火炉上茶壶的盖子被水蒸气冲开，他就感到惊异，引起了他的深思和追问，想问个究竟，从中得到了启发，并思考着如何用水蒸气来掀动更重的东西。后来，瓦特在英国格拉斯哥大学工作中发现，已有的蒸汽机有很大的缺点，于是他年年月月地观察着、思考着、分析着、试验着，终于在一七八二年创造出万能蒸汽机。

叙述材料要求文字简洁，内容明确。

记叙性的材料，因为为了感人，所以通常写得生动细致，而议论文中的叙述，目的是为了说理，因此，不需原本照抄，否则会喧宾夺主，淹没事例的重点。叙述时紧扣论点，截取与论点有关的文字，用极简练的语言表达出来，切忌啰唆与含糊，拖泥带水，杂乱无章。

例：请以马克思和居里夫人的事迹来论证“人生的意义在于贡献而不是索取”这个论点，要求论据高度概括，只用一两句话。

“马克思致力于无产阶级的解放事业，尽管有时喝开水，啃馒头，他对此都甘之如饴;居里夫人一生清贫，却将自己历尽艰辛提炼出来的价值一百万美元的一克镭，奉献给了人类。他们追求的是人类的解放，科学的进步。”

〔简评〕

“致力于”强调了贡献之大，与喝开水、啃馒头形成对照，指出求索的极少;一个“甘之如饴”，把马克思的品质、情操、胸怀都写了出来。

“一克镭”前用了“价值一百万美元”、“历尽艰辛提炼出来的”，都不要报偿，奉献给了人类，而且是在“一生清贫”的情况下做出的，这不是贡献极大而索取极少吗?

这两例和论点结合紧密，吻合浓缩得很好，抓住了侧重点，高度概括。

三、叙述材料要善于拓展

拓展，就是把材料中与论点相关的部分扩展开来，使叙述的内容与所要论证的观点紧密联系起来;或者将蕴涵在材料中并不显露的地方加以挖掘、扩充，使材料能成为论证论点的有力论据。同时叙述材料时，突出或增补一些与论点相同或相近的词语。

如瓦特之例，不仅扣住论点，而且剪取故事中与论点“勤于思考，善于分析”相吻合的这一侧面，突出这一面。如多处强调瓦特“感到惊异”、“想问个究竟”、 “追问”、“深思”、“思索着”、“分析着”、“试验着”，这些扩展语句是不可少的。少了这样的语句，再好的例子也不能很好地为论点服务。

恰当地运用修辞手法，是增强文章的审美含量、增加文采、提升品位的重要手段。如借助排比，便可以渲染气氛，增强气势，增进论证。运用比喻，便可以化抽象为具体，增添情趣，令人遐想万千，思接古今。在文中如能巧妙地使用比喻、排比、反复、拟人等修辞手法，文章就能“气象峥嵘，彩色绚烂”。

一篇好的作文除了要具备健康鲜明的主题，优美生动的文字以外，还要有一个完整、连贯、流畅的结构，我们把它归结为八个字，那就是“上下贯通，首尾相援”。

文章结构必须上下贯通，首尾相援，这也是作者思路的连贯性在文章中的体现，这种形式的连贯同时也能够体现文意的连贯，即形式服务于内容。文章的各部分之间，段落之间，前后语句间都要紧密连接，通篇一贯，这样的结构才能严谨、完美。好的结构会使文章主题鲜明突出，内容清晰完整，过渡自然流畅，文章整体和谐统一。否则，如果信马由缰，文章结构势必混乱无章，主次不分，再典型生动的材料恐怕也难以吸收读者去阅读和欣赏。“思想是有一条路的，一句一句，一段一段都是有路的，好文章的作者是决不乱走的。”(叶圣陶《认真学习语文》)。

1.谈谈过渡。过渡是文章内容连贯的一种重要方法。好的过渡能够使文章前后衔接，自然流畅，天衣无缝。如我们学过的《从百草园到三味书屋》一文第9段“我不知道为什么家里的人要将我送进书塾里去了------Ade,我的蟋蟀们!Ade,我的覆盆子们和木莲们!------”很明显这是一个过渡段，巧妙地将白草园与三味书屋两段生活联结起来。又如《感受幸福》一文开头一段，“现在我终于明白了，原来它就在我的身边”一句，既回答了上文关于“幸福在哪里”的疑问，又自然地振起下文，写“我”对幸福的体验过程。

2.谈谈照应。照应是指文章前后内容之间的关照响应。前面的内容要有呼应后面的情节，前面也要埋下伏笔。在形式上照应有三种方式，一是结尾和开头的照应;二是伏笔和关键语句的照应;三是正文和标题的照应。

首尾照应是写作中常见的照应形式。开头结尾是文章的有机组成部分，好的开头能够帮助读者抓住要领，感受全文，好的结尾能够使文章的主旨更加明确，主题得到升华。而首尾照应则体现了两者的有机结合，更能突出文章的主题。如《感受友谊的枫叶》一文，小作者从不经意间发现的藏在书中的半片枫叶凝神沉思写起，道出了这代表友谊的半片枫叶的来由，结尾处以“很久很久，我才回过神来，又将那半片枫叶放回了书里”收篇，很自然地照应了开头“我将它拿起，放在手中，默默地站在那儿想了很久”，文章首尾圆合，浑然一体。再看《感受团结的力量》一文，小作者以散文化的笔法描述了几个花须经历了风雨的洗礼，造就了脉脉的芳香，但并未注意到首尾的呼应。开头写道，茉莉花虽无艳丽的外表，但香气脉脉而高雅，结尾处写“盛开的花代表了友谊的结晶，花下的世界，永远存在着那几个根须”，让人联想到花开的艳丽，与“脉脉的香气”是不吻合的，这也正是此文的重要缺憾之一。

前伏后应的照应也是照应的基本方式之一。《感受友谊的枫叶》的小作者就注意到了这一点。文章的第三段“那是一个深秋的晚上”道出了故事发生的季节是深秋的时节，而此时也是枫叶正红的时候，为后文的“从高高的树上落下了一片火红的枫叶”伏下了很好的一笔，不得不赞叹小作者在构思上的精雕细琢。

正文与开头的照应能够使主题更加明确，中心更加突出。我们看一下《感受幸福》一文的结尾：“如果有来生，我还要感受一下这辈子的幸福生活”，这一句意在照应文章的标题，然而语言过于平淡，格调低落，使人产生一种消极的情绪，不符合新时期少年儿童所应该拥有的心态，因而降低了文章的格调，这是我们在写作时要十分注意的。
