大年三十，我回到了老家铜川市耀州区。刚走进家门就看到爷爷奶奶忙忙碌碌地在打扫卫生，清洗各种器具，拆洗被褥窗帘，打扫庭院，掸浮沉扫蜘蛛网。我非常不理解，为什么要这么做。原来据《吕氏春秋》记载，我国尧舜时代就有春节扫尘的风俗。因“尘”与“陈”谐音，新春扫尘有“除陈布新”的涵义，还有把一切穷运、晦气统统扫出门这一用意。

打扫完卫生，爷爷开始贴春联了。春联以工整、对偶、简洁、精巧的文字描绘时代背景，抒发美好愿望，是我国特有的文学形式。每逢春节，家家户户把春联贴于门上。我帮着爷爷贴春联，看到贴好的红红火火的春联，感到非常开心。

贴完春联后，爷爷在门上贴了个倒着的“福”字。我不明白了，为什么“福”字要倒着贴？原来“福”字指“福气、福运”寄托了人们对幸福生活的向往与美好未来的愿望。“福”倒着贴，就意味着“幸福已经到来”或“福气已经到来”。我们中华民族的文化真渊博啊！

晚上吃团圆饭时，全家人坐在一起包饺子。因为和面的“和”字就是“合”的意思；饺子的“饺”和“交”谐音。“合”和“交”又有相聚之意，所以用饺子象征团圆合欢。此外，饺子因为形似元宝，过年吃饺子，有“招财进宝”之意。所以大家在过年时要一起吃饺子。过年的时候还有守岁、燃放爆竹、拜年、给压岁钱等各种习俗。

儿时的春节最让我开心的不是有许多的零食吃，而是会有新衣服新鞋子。小时候的我很臭美，一到过年，全身上下都要换新的。新年的新衣服是早就买好了放在我的衣柜里的，没有到过年那一天我都舍不得穿，每天都要打开衣柜瞅上好几眼，爱不释手的摸摸领子再摸摸袖口，新鞋子也是擦了又擦，反反复复跟奶奶确认到底哪一天才过年，等着出门拜年的时候一展风采。

儿时的春节十分隆重，大年初一那天早晨，要乖乖的早起和爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈道新年好，吃完丰盛的早餐（我们那叫过早）后和大家去祠堂祭拜祖先，祈祷新的一年风调雨顺，家人身体健康，四季平安，大人事业有成，小孩学业进步。村里还安排了人舞狮，家家户户准备好茶水点心等着“狮子”进门，寓意着这一年的鸿运来。除此之外村里还会组织很多的贺新年活动，沉寂的村子焕然一新，大家脸上都是洋溢着喜庆的笑容……

It was Mother’s Day. Sun Zheng thought he should do something for his

mother. He decided to help his mother do some housework. After school he went to

每年都等着、盼着过春节。因为这是一年中最热闹的一天。

早晨，早早的起床，穿上妈妈早给准备好的新衣服、新鞋子。心里别提多高兴了！

我的家乡在湖南，那里过年的习俗非常有趣。在腊月二十九（除夕夜），我们一家大小围在一起吃团圆饭，我们的团圆饭可讲究了：我们吃饭一定要有三大样：鱼、鸡、肉。鱼一定要蒸着吃，在鱼上还要放大把大把的辣椒，这样象征着财源滚滚来、年年有余的好兆头。鸡一定是公鸡。肉是腊肉，我们的腊肉不像四川那里蒸着吃，而是用豆角炒着吃，这样吃特别美味，特别有嚼头。吃完饭之后，我们就要进行守岁，一家人围在一起，其乐融融，说说这一年经历的酸甜苦辣。

学生们放寒假了、大人们准备回家过年、街道上喜气洋洋的。这些事情都象征着我们中华民族最重要的节日，春节即将到来。

春节意味着旧的一年即将成为回忆，我们将要迎接新的一年，新的生活。在旧的一年的最后一天里，人们都在家中和亲人一起吃团圆饭，看春晚，共同迎接新的一年到来。如果有些忙碌的人不能回家和家人团聚，他们也会发送一条充满暖暖情谊的短信给家人，告诉他们就算不能回家，也会在心里默默地祝福家人。

过去的一年，也许会有不顺利的事，但是春节一到来，人们都会对新年充满憧憬与希望。学生们，就会对自己的学习充满新的期待;事业者们，会对自己的事业充满希冀，盼望着事业更加红红火火;失业的人们，虽然去年的生活很艰难，可是到了新的一年，又会重新拥有动力;那些生病的病人们，也会对自己的病情又抱有了希望。

当除夕的倒计时结束后，人们纷纷走出家门放鞭炮。放鞭炮，是辞旧迎新的标志、喜庆心情的流露;古时还有驱赶“年”兽的传说，寓意“平安”。当新的一年的晨曦刚刚升起时，人们就会去亲戚、朋友家中拜年。马路上喜气洋洋的，人们都穿着新衣裳，脸上挂着甜甜的笑容，无论遇到认识的，不认识的，都会很高兴地说一声新年快乐，那是发自内心深处的祝福。

新的一年，小朋友们是开心的，不仅能暂时地摆脱繁重的学习，开始短暂的寒假生活，还能收到一笔笔的压岁钱，能吃到许多好吃的食物，还有观看有趣的电视节目，处处都能听到孩子们的欢声笑语。

春节，红色就是它的特色气氛。每逢春节，大街边上都挂着一道道火红的大灯笼，喜气洋洋地装点着整条大街。只见彩旗飘扬，各色商家标语、条幅迎风招展。商场门口挂着富有中国传统气息的大中国结，看一眼就让人心里暖和。湛蓝的天空中，一只只彩色气球在阳光的照耀下艳丽夺目。微风拂过，大小气球迎风起舞，又仿佛在向路人点头致意，大街上满是一片红色的灯海。

春节是一个充满喜庆的节日，是中国人民最隆重的传统节日，也象征团结、兴旺，对未来寄托新的希望的佳节。希望在新的一年，大家都能心想事成、万事如意!

盼啊！盼啊，终于盼到了鸡年的春节。想到这，我不由得笑了起来，在春节前，人们个个喜气洋洋，个个精神饱满。逛街的人络绎不绝，有的在买年画，有的在买年货，有的坐着火箱围着火炉看电视，还有的人在打麻将打扑克，等等不一而足。

反正街上五彩缤纷，各种各样的人都有，各种各样的货物都齐全，琳琅满目，人们恐怕想买什么都难选择！

春节前，家家户户都灯火通明，家家都把房子打扮得别具一格，各有各的个性。他们把买来的年货放得满地都地。买来的年画怎么贴法，那就各有自己的风格和喜好了。有的正着贴，有的倒着贴，还有的歪着贴，各有千秋。人们把买来的菜全部都弄好了，只等春节一到，就可一饱口福了。家家备有鞭炮，人们穿上新衣服，准备迎新年，在春节前，人们一出门，如果遇上了好朋友，总是口中不忘说一句：上街啊！

人们杀猪宰羊，忙碌地准备着春节大吃大喝一番。

春节到了，小朋友们便早早起床，来到爸爸妈妈的房间，开始了传统的拜年仪式了。小朋友们对父母说着一些吉祥话儿，爸妈就拿出压岁钱，让小孩子们高高兴兴。大家都希望今年能够吉祥如意，招财进宝。

一些亲朋好友欢聚一堂，品尝着美酒佳肴，谈着一些开心的话儿。而最高兴的则是我们，可以大把大把地攒取压岁钱，然后就欢天喜地跑到街上去买很多好玩的东西，如小汽车、四驱车、玩具枪、足球等，而我们只要嘴巴甜一点，多说些祝福的话儿，那可就大赚一笔了！

人们一直玩到深夜，嘴里啃着美味水果，手里燃放鞭炮烟花……大人小孩们载歌载舞，忘情地玩个痛快！
