原来，以前过年还有一种放鞭炮的习俗，来源于“年兽”的故事。很久以前有一只“年兽”，长期居住深海底，到了除夕就跃出海面到处作恶。有一年一个老人用放炮，穿红衣，贴红春联的方法驱赶走“年兽”，这才得以平静，此后这个方法就流传开来。但是现在广州禁止燃放烟花爆竹，所以我们就不再进行这个活动了。

一到12月27日，阿妈就带我上街买鞭炮和对联。

我们来到街上，阿妈拉着我走啊，走啊。我看到了许许多多整整齐齐的鞭炮和对联，一转头，看见我去年买的几种对联，我拉拉阿妈的手说：“阿妈买。”阿妈就带我来到那一问店中，我挑了几种说：“阿妈，这些各买一盒。”阿妈亲切地对我说：“好！”然后我们付了钱，我们拿着东西，又来到里面买白菜、花菜、空心菜、鸡、鸭、鱼、肉等主食，我们跑了好几趟，终于把年货全买齐了。

大年三十下午，阿爸已经准备好浆糊贴对联了，我就和阿爸拿着对联来到大门下，阿爸把浆糊涂在门墙上，我们急忙把对联贴了上去。

除夕家家户户都要吃团圆饭，我们也不例外，我们一家子团聚在桌子边，一起吃团圆饭，喝团圆汤，欢迎新的一年到来，阿妈一边吃一边吩咐我说：“不能打破东西，也不能说”坏话，呀！

春节，红色就是它的特色气氛。每逢春节，大街边上都挂着一道道火红的大灯笼，喜气洋洋地装点着整条大街。只见彩旗飘扬，各色商家标语、条幅迎风招展。商场门口挂着富有中国传统气息的大中国结，看一眼就让人心里暖和。湛蓝的天空中，一只只彩色气球在阳光的照耀下艳丽夺目。微风拂过，大小气球迎风起舞，又仿佛在向路人点头致意，大街上满是一片红色的灯海。

春节是一个充满喜庆的节日，是中国人民最隆重的传统节日，也象征团结、兴旺，对未来寄托新的希望的佳节。希望在新的一年，大家都能心想事成、万事如意!

“爆竹声声一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日、总把新桃换旧符。一转眼间春节又到了，在春节里有许多习俗，比如：贴春联、放鞭炮、吃饺子、收压岁钱……，让我们来一起来了解了解吧！

贴春联这几乎是过年家家户户都会贴的，喜庆的大红春联是对联的一种，在春节时张贴，故名春联。春联的来源其一是桃符。最初人们是用以辟邪，后来画门神像木刻人形挂在门旁于桃木土上，再简化为在桃木板上写门神名字。春联的另一来源是春贴，古人在立春日贴“宜春”二字，后渐渐发展为春联，表达了劳动人民一种辟邪除灾、迎祥纳福的美好愿望。

在我国的北方有一种习俗，就是吃饺子，饺子的谐音即“交子”，即新年与旧年相交时刻。饺子就意味着更岁交子，过春节吃饺子被认为是大吉大利。另外饺子形状像元宝，包饺子意味着包住福运，吃饺子意味着对新的一年吉祥富裕的一种渴望。

春节里，我们更少不了要放鞭炮来活跃一下春节时欢欢喜喜的气氛了。放鞭炮在民间还有一个传说：相传在远古的时侯，有一只叫“年”的怪兽，每到春节的时候就出来吓唬人，于是人们就想了个办法，用竹筒点燃扔向它，竹筒爆炸后发出很大的声响，吓走了年兽，放鞭炮的习俗就这样流传下来了。随着环境的污染、很多地方已经禁止放鞭炮了，估计以后这个习俗在很多地方也就见不到了。

过年收压岁钱是我们小孩最喜欢的事了，压岁钱最初的用意是镇恶驱邪。因为人们认为小孩容易受鬼祟的侵害，所以用压岁钱压祟驱邪。春节拜年时，长辈要将事先准备好的压岁钱放进红包分给晚辈，压岁钱就可以压住祟，因为“岁”与“祟”谐音，晚辈得到压岁钱就可以健康吉利、平平安安度过一岁。
