“天生我材必有用”，每个人生下来，只要心存善念，就友一定的长处和用处﹐不论高矮胖瘦；现代人都是外貌协会的，只在意外表，不看人的内在涵养，所以肯定自己，欣赏别人是很重要的。

以我来说，小时候我长得瘦瘦小小又黑黑的，所以经常被同学欺负、捉弄，我感到深深的自卑，开始讨厌来上学，奶奶知道以后，鼓励我：“人的外表是生出来就决定好的，无从改变，但是你可以从你的内在涵养来增进。”因为家人的鼓励，我燃起了自信心，开始去参加各方面的兴趣活动，发现自己的长处，培养更多的兴趣，同学开始发现我的内在，渐渐的朋友越来越多。

当今社会上一些家喻户晓的人物，虽然他们都失去身体的一部分，但是他们还是抱着希望，肯定自己，生活过得比一般人还要精采，也比一般人还要优秀许多。

所谓“肯定自己”，就是要相信自己，不要有任何的自卑感，多去参加各项的比赛和兴趣活动，发现自己的长处，那“欣赏别人”，就是不能存有忌妒心，多去发现别人的优点和长处，所以我们要学会肯定自己，欣赏别人!才能得到好人缘，进而别人也能接纳你，欣赏你。
