In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic.

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

“Try and try until you succeed.” This saying shows the importance of perseverance, I have found in my experience that only through hard work can we succeed. I have a very cheerful holiday in “The National Day”. My parent and I went to Shanghai about nine days ago. We got there by plane, I think that shanghai must be a very big city, and there are a lot of tall buildings. First we went into the hotel named”chuang ye”. And we saw the tall big building “Shanghai TV Tower”, at nine in the evening, we got back to the hotel. The second day, we visited Zhouzhuang. It’s very beautiful and the air was good, I bought my favorite toy : weapons. I like them very much. Shanghai’s food tasted good. Today we are very happy and tired, so we slept early in the night. The third day however, we didn’t go anywhere, we stayed in the hotel until late in the afternoon. In the evening, we came back to Tianjin by plane to. This travel was fantastic!

Last summer holiday, I visited to Xiamen with my parentsby plane. My

English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of

visiting. We stayed there for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On

the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen

University is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in China.

Indeed, its fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we

enjoyed the scenery of Jimei District. On the third day, We visited to Gulangyu.

Its amazing and I like it very much. There are many small specific stores.

However, the huge tourist visitors make the small island crowed. Anyway, it was

a pleasant trip.

Many people have favorite places they like to go to when they are feeling

sad or bored. I also have favorite places that I go to as often as I can.

Here are the three places that I like most. First of all, I like the zoo.

The animals are amazing because some are so cute and some are so ugly! I like to

pet them,feed them and watch them perform. Museums are cool places, too. They

have good exhibits and fascinating displays. I like the works of art there. Some

museums teach me a lot about history and science. From dinosaurs to robots, I

love them all. Finally, theme parks are my favourite place. I think the roller

coasters are the best. Its fun to scream and get scared.

These places always cheer me up. I try to go to each of my favorite places
