which means reunion. As time goes by, there are various kinds of moon cakes, but

they are much more expensive than before. I like mid-autumn festival because my

families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

In modern society, most people are under the higher pressure than ever

before and some people cannot handle the stress well and choose some extreme

ways to avoid or settle their stress.However, is stress a bad thing? As far as I

am concerned, everything has two coins, and we also need to realize it from two

aspects.

For one thing, stress is a kind of mental burden caused by nervousness or

anxiety. In modern society, stress is mostly caused by the high requirements or

heavy burden from surroundings or us, such as stress from peers or stress in

economy. If we cannot handle the stress well, we would be easy to be in a

negative mood and lost our motivation and courage to keep going or struggle with

盼星星，盼月亮，端午节终于到了，一家人摩拳擦掌忙活起包粽子。前一天早上，妈妈和奶奶把泡好的糯米拿出来，洗好粽子叶，准备开始包粽子。

下一步，开始煮粽子了。先把粽子整齐地摆在锅里，把锅帘压在粽子上面，再往锅帘上放一盆水。最后把水顺着锅边倒进去，大火煮40分钟，香喷喷的粽子就出锅了。

到了端午节这天早上，妈妈给我系上了五彩线，还嘱咐我不要随便折断或丢弃，只能在端午节后第一场雨时才能扔掉。妈妈还告诉我了五彩线的来历，它象征着五色龙，可以降伏鬼怪，带走一切疾病。我们还在门口插上艾草，挂上纸葫芦，家里充满了节日的气氛。

除夕前几天，浓浓的年味早就在大街小巷里了，大人和小孩都为了能更好的过一个愉快的春节忙得不亦乐乎，都在仔仔细细的清理房子，把不要的东西统统拒之门外，为的就是在春节前把所有的霉运统统赶出家门，引来欢悦的喜气。我们家也是一样，家里全民动员，各有各的责任-——我负责把地板扫干净，拖干净，还要把茶几里的东西一次又一次的整理一遍;爸爸负责把整个房间收拾得有条有理，还要再把纱窗拆出来冲洗一下;而妈妈负责把厨房和厕所擦干净。

过春节，年货是不可少的。可不是，除夕前一天，一大早，我就和妈妈高高兴兴地赶在人多之前的时候挑年货，但争先恐后的情景还是发生了，超市里挤满了人群，每个人的购物车里都装了大包小包的零食和年货。我也是一样，进了超市拿到车后，就迅速地仔细挑选，左挑一包右拿一包，几下就把购物车塞得满满当当的。

夏季的狂风是暴雨的前兆，闷热的天气，多希望来场大雨降降温!刮风了，它还领来一团乌云，树伯伯开始怒号了，窗子开始“乒乒乓乓”地奏乐，人们从屋里跑出来，在这样的狂风中，等待着清凉，等待着暴雨的来临，更是在等待着雨中庄稼更加茁壮地成长，人们脸上的微笑显现出对秋天收获的信心。这狂暴的夏风，就像严厉的老师的教诲，虽然有些吓人，却能像促进我们成长一样促进庄稼快速地成长。

夏天的微风，虽然燥热，有时也会给我们带来清凉，带来惬意;夏天的狂风，虽然强悍，有时也会给我们带来期望，带来信心;更重要的是，这夏天的风，让我感受到了生命的活力。

我喜欢这燥热而又能感受生命活力的夏季的风!

放暑假啦!妈妈给我报了一个自由泳班。

总算盼到了学游泳的日子。我们先学习打腿，老师要求我们腿伸直，幅度要大，速度要快，然后先叫我们在旁边练习。因为我会游仰泳，仰泳也要打腿，所以我学得很快。没过几天，我们就开始学习下一步：划水。老师告诉我们，划水一共有三个动作：抱水、推水和空中回臂，而最容易漏做的是抱水这个动作。我们先是在水里原地练习，然后拿着浮板一个一个游，反复练习。刚开始，我只能依靠着浮板才能浮起来。渐渐地，我能不拿浮板自己游了。最后五六节课时，我们学习了最后一步：换气。换气可不好学呢!老师提醒我们：自由游和蛙泳的换气方法不同。蛙泳是正面抬头换气，而自由泳是侧面转头换气，而且要和划手同时，耳朵还要贴着手臂。一开始我游的时候总会喝进水，老师教了我一个方法：换气时，把整个肩膀都转过来，嘴巴露出水面，这样就不怎么会喝水了。我照着老师说的练习，果然不太会喝进水了，可有时候是难免的。有一次不小心喝进了一口水，但没咽下。于是，我想在下一次换气的时候一起吐出来，结果，我不仅没吐出来，反而把嘴里剩余的水都咽了下去，顿时，我感觉鼻子里酸酸的难受极了。不过时间长了，我已经不太会喝水了。

最后一节课是“考试”，家长也可入内。我问老师：“今天要游到哪儿?”“游到底”。“游到底?25米?”我听完有些傻了，但很快就镇定下来。轮到我了，我下了水，望了望“终点”，深深地吸了一口气，便一头扎进水里，奋力地向前游呀游呀。前三分之二，我游得并不费力，可后面三分之一，我游得速度明显减慢，有些游不动了。可一想到妈妈还在看着自己，就鼓励自己“加油!加油!”我快看到“终点”时，像又有了力气一样，一鼓作气游到了底。“耶!”我高兴极了。

走出游泳馆里，我显到有些异常兴奋，因为我会游三种泳姿了!

Taking exercise is good for our health. All work and no play makes Jack a

dull boy. By taking exercise, we can relax our body and mind. At the same time,

we can harden our muscle and have a good figure. If we dont take exercise for a

long time, we may easily fall sick.

I enjoy several outdoor sports. Swimming in the sea is my favorite. Because

there are too many people in a swimming pool and the water is always dirty, I

prefer to swim in the sea.

Playing badminton is also fun. I can always find a place in the park for

playing badminton. Besides, I enjoy jogging in the morning. Sometimes, I jog

with my parents in the park.

I like dogs, because they are man’s good friends. They can do many helpful thingsto us, such as guarding our houses, greeting guests, helping the police, and soon. Some trained dogs can even lead the blind people and save people’s lives.So they‘re treated as our family members. I hope someday dogs will be in greatharmony with human-beings.

我喜欢狗，因为它们是人类的好朋友。他们可以为我们做很多有用的事情，如，保护房子，问候客人，帮助警方等等。一些受过训练的狗甚至可以引导盲人、拯救人们的性命。所以他们都被当做是我们的家庭成员。我希望有一天狗能与人类和谐共处。
