当然，冉阿让也很聪明、强壮、勇敢。有一次，房东婆婆告密，警察将冉阿让和柯赛特围住了，却没有看见他们两个人，原来冉阿让使出了看家本领——不用梯子，徒手到六楼，成功地逃过了警察。
