这部作品毫无保留地向我们展示了当时社会的黑暗和人民的痛苦。我感到就因为一块面包判冉阿让19年苦役实在是太残忍了，他也是迫不得已才来偷这块面包的。如果当时政府让穷人们衣食无忧的话，他也就不会来偷了，所以，让人民遭受痛苦的罪魁祸首是政府官员!出狱后的冉阿让受到了一位主教的教育，便决定重新做人。不久后，他竟成为了令人尊敬的马德兰市长。他不断帮助穷苦的人民，为他们排忧解难;他和那些整天沉迷于吃喝玩乐的政府高官真是天壤之别!他宁可自己挨饿，也不让老百姓受苦，他才是一个真正的好官，才是一个真正爱岗敬业的人!让我们向他致敬!

在他担任市长时期，在路边看到一位衣衫破烂，伤痕累累的小姑娘手里拎着一桶水，走也走不动。冉连忙夺过水桶帮她拎。原来，这个小姑娘名叫珂赛特，是一个老板的奴隶，受尽折磨。经过一番周折，冉阿让终于使小姑娘逃离了魔爪，自己收养了她。多么具有同情心的人啊!他完全可以置之不理，但是他不忍心这个小女孩，是他那颗善良的心改变了珂赛特的命运!那些资本主义的高级官员们，当你们看到这一切时，难道一点也不会内疚吗?当你们看到那些被剥削的人，难道会非常高兴吗?你们可以醒悟过来了!

读完这部小说后，我感到作者对这种残酷、剥削、黑暗的社会充满了厌恶，非常希望有一个博爱、仁慈、道德的环境。再仔细想想，我们现在不就是生活在后者之中吗?为何还不去珍惜呢?为何还要去蹉跎光阴呢?

当出狱后的冉阿让背负着囚犯的身份，饱受嫌弃鄙视。社会的不公与排斥，消弭了他重新做人，改过向善的信心。是宽大为怀的主教伸出慷慨的援助之手收容了走投无路的冉阿让，他不仅不计较冉阿让偷他的银器具，反而将一对银制烛台送给了他并嘱咐道："答应我一定要把这些钱用到好的地方。把这些银器卖掉，用这些钱让自己过得好一些。"我终于相信，人是可以改变人的，正如主教以宽大、仁慈深深感化了冉阿让，给了他无限的希望，使他彻底悔悟，开始新的生活。乐于助人，见义勇为得到人民的爱戴，摇身一变成了受人尊敬的市长。这一切使我既感动又欣喜。然而欣喜之余却又陷入了深深的思绪之中。从囚犯到市长，简直是天壤之别，这无疑是人性的巨大转变。

面对着穷困潦倒，世态炎凉，将会产生两种人：第一种是卑微的人。他们丑陋、自私、贪婪的本性再也无法隐藏。就如书中的德纳第，他为了钱财不惜一切进行诈骗，一会声称是演员，一会儿又变成了画家，但他再高明也掩盖不住他丑陋的本性。其实在当今社会也不乏有一些为了眼前利益而不择手段的卑鄙小人。如一些凭借职权贪污受贿者;在重大赛事中为得到好成绩而服用兴奋剂者;还有小到考试作弊者…任何刻意的伪装都将被识破，虚伪不可能永久。另一种则无论什么情况都能永保光明、善良、宽容的高尚情操的人。洗新革面后的冉阿让变得宽大、善良因而感化了冷酷、固执，曾一味追捕他的警长沙威。我再一次被人性的巨大力量震憾。

其中最具代表性的是他对芳町与珂赛特母女的爱。为了实现芳町临死前看到自己女儿的愿望，他毫不犹豫地再次越狱(而这次越狱，对他来说是终身苦役犯的代价)。

虽然最终芳町还是没有实现自己的死的愿望，但他始终坚持完成自己对芳町——一个毫无关系的死人的诺言……

他终于救了珂赛特。他的一生都在照顾她，就好像她是他的女儿一样。

是什么让他如此关心这么毫无关系的人?因为他把这个世界上所有的可怜人、穷人都当作自己的孩子，用“父亲”的义务和责任照顾每一个“孩子”。这种爱是最高的，是普世的爱!

《悲惨世界》这个故事的精髓，并不在于它的主线情节，而是对每一个人物我深入的刻画。

在读故事的时候，人们总是认为主角和英雄都是重要的角色，可是，那些反派虽然是坏人，但是如果换一个角度去思考，他不一定是坏人。

你们一定已经注意到了一个人。这是整个故事当中最主要的反派之一。就是一直在追捕冉·阿让的警察。我们来分析一下几个主要他出现的情节。

记不记得冉阿让在救一个老人的时候，他抬起了马车。这个马车很重，没有任何一个活生生的人可以把它给抬起来。只有千斤顶才能做得到。人们已经去叫千斤顶了，但是如果等千斤顶来，老人可能早已被压死。这时，为了不让惨剧发生，然而让就把马车抬了起来。在众人一起的帮助下，老人成功脱险。这时，这个警察就发现了破绽。这个警察当然是认识了冉·阿让的。而且他清楚，这世上，除了他也没有几个人能代替千斤顶。警察开始怀疑冉·阿让。

大家一定为主角感到很担心吧，担心主角被他抓住。足以证明这是一个坏人，为了抓住冉·阿让获取功名利禄，不惜一切代价。

还有一次，冉·阿让带着珂赛特，他派了好多人一起追捕。这些人把这里团团围住，设下天罗地网，把冉·阿让逼进死胡同。

太惊险了，我们的英雄主角差一点就被这个大反派抓住了。

通过以上两处情节，我们知道这个警察绝对不是什么好东西。但是还有一处情节可以反驳我们对他所有坏的看法。他做了坏事，但并不代表他是坏人。

一场恶战拉开序幕，整个故事也接近了尾声。这个警察毕竟是坏人，被抓住了。现在可不是冉·阿让落在警察手里了，而且恰恰相反，是警察落在了冉·阿让手里。冉·阿让是好人，他的善良不可否认，他并没有杀死这个警察。

然后这个警察做了什么?感谢他的大恩大德?磕头认罪?赶紧逃跑?

他没有那么做。他自杀了。因为他没能抓住一个犯人，反而被一个犯人抓住了。他感到耻辱，感觉自己失职了。

虽然他做的坏事，但它也有敢作敢当、忠于职守的英雄精神。反派就一定是坏人吗?答案是否定的。

这本书主要讲了主人公冉阿让悲惨的个人经历以及他在被卞福汝感化后所做出的改变，通过讲述冉阿让的悲惨一生，从而反应映出了法国当时的一个社会情况。

这本书中淡到了许多人物：有悲惨的冉阿让;有可岭的芳汀;有正义的顽固者一沙威;还有相爱的珂赛特和马吕斯等等。

其中，主人公冉阿让给我留下了很深刻的印象：

他知错就该，在出狱后，他来到了迪涅主教的家中住宿。晚上的时候，他看到了壁橱里的东西，知道那可以卖个好价钱，于是他在所有人都睡看了的时候，偷偷地想要把东西拿走，马格洛太太发现东西不见后认为是冉阿让偷的，并叫来了警察，然而当警察来到后，这位主教大人却帮了这个偷他家东西的“小偷”，他对警察说这些东西是他送给冉阿让的。冉阿让听后十分的感动，被感化后的冉阿让做出了巨大的改变……

他乐善好施、善良、诚实。在被感化后，他改名为马德兰，帮助穷人，并且毫无条件、毫无怨念;在芳汀向他求助后，他花钱去帮芳汀赎回珂赛特，还把芳汀安置到了医院;而且，在政府抓走了个叫尚马秋的人，认为他就是冉阿让，准备给他治罪时，马德兰市长(真正的阿让)为了帮助这个人，在法厅上承认了配的真实身份;还有在他们战斗时，抓住了一直想要将冉阿让抓回局的沙威，并将他交给冉阿让处理，而冉阿让却放走了这个追着他几年的人。

但是，他也是个悲惨的人：因为偷了一块面包而被关进监狱十几年;在出狱后被一名叫沙威的警官穷追不舍;只因他承认自己的身份，他只前所作的贡献，一切的好全都灰飞烟灭;在告诉马吕斯真实身后，被误会，直到生命最后一刻才被理解。

雨果的这部长篇小说《悲惨世界》借一个个生动形象的人物，向我们反映了，社会情况究竟有多么的悲观、残酷、险恶……
