多雨莫过夏天，而我也希望夏天的雨下得越长越好。因为一到夏天，爸爸妈妈就会从城里回来帮着插秧。一插秧便得待两三天，一遇到下雨天，便又要耽误几天再回去。这时我们有足够的时间与父母亲相处，听他们说城里边的故事。他们插秧，我也帮着去。一大家人都在一块放满了水的田里。爸爸妈妈弯着腰插秧，这样效率更快些；爷爷奶奶带着小板凳坐着插秧，插累了，腰疼了，便坐在凳子上歇息一会儿，伸伸腰。而我的VIP豪华座位是一个大木盆。我盘腿坐在里面，正好浮在水上，我也不为了插秧，只便于和爸爸妈妈爷爷奶奶在一起。听他们叨叨家常，我划划水玩。有时看见水中有只蝌蚪，便不顾一切都要抓住它。我先屏息凝神，将手慢慢的放入水中，围在蝌蚪周围。眼看它就是我的瓮中之物了，正准备收手，却一个不留神，一个大跟头，跌入水中，激起一大片水花。满嘴都是泥巴，涩涩的，没有家里的糖甜，没有奶奶烧的菜咸，一点都不好吃！妈妈连忙扶我起来，现在也不需要大盆啦，坐在水里就成。全家人都笑得合不拢嘴。看我滞笨地在水里游玩，像那蝌蚪一般穿梭于稻苗之间，我穿梭于家人之间。夏天，虽然酷热，但这般清凉将热气都驱散了。
