大雨的意外降临，使得不少小贩开心不已，雨还没下多一会儿，就有许多小贩带着雨伞前来出售，有的人见雨越下越大，自己的事儿又很急，只好花钱买一把，也有的没有急事，所以好好欣赏起了雨景，夏季中午的闷热已经被大雨冲刷掉了不少，取而代之的是雨天的清新和凉爽，有的人轻声说了句：下雨天真好，希望每天都有这样的天气。

that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in

districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

"rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science

other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological

development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

天下着细雨，雨点打在窗子的玻璃上，拖着长长的尾巴，缓缓流下。窗外有一棵柳树，几只小鸟在雨中，发出唧唧的叫声。在闷热的天气里，一场细雨飘然而至，带来了一股湿润和清新。雨水洗去灌木树叶上的尘土，叶子显得更加翠绿。淅淅沥沥的雨水侵入地下，送往地表的水系中，把柔情的雨声留在空中。

雨声就像是新生命的呢喃，馨香可亲。细雨又如恋人的轻柔耳语，娓娓低诉，充满着深深的情感。落在水中的雨点，溅起串串水泡，犹如轻音乐的打奏。凝神静静地听着雨声，好像是远方悠悠传来的歌声，时隐时现。雨天里行人变得稀少，没有了喧闹，在难得的安静中，唯有雨和心的和声,会让人激起无边无际的遐想。

思绪不断地延绵在雨声中穿过，想起了划水的声音，那是秦淮河上的桨声，如此醇厚，我在猜测，如果是在雨中划船，又该是怎样的情景?还有荷塘月色，季节消逝，是否留着残荷听雨声。记忆中还有很多雨中的浪漫，唤起胸中的心曲。我陶醉在这雨声中，感慨细雨之情，多好的雨水，多美的雨声。

我在窗户上看，只见风刮得非常大，呼呼的风声传到我耳边，身旁的几棵大树也被风吹得东倒西歪，枝丫摆来摆去。雨就像是从天上灌下来似的，哗啦哗啦下个不停，路上的行人们不是穿着雨衣就是打着伞，雨衣在风中翩翩起舞，有的伞被风吹折了腰，有的伞就像蒲公英一样，被风吹得在空中飘向远方，还有的伞摇摇欲坠。我和妈妈刚到楼下，我的脸上就被风吹得火辣辣的，雨衣的帽子偏偏不听话，总是向后倒，让我淋到倾盆大雨。我的脚、腿、都感觉冰凉冰凉的，原来是雨把我的鞋子和裤子都弄湿了。

下雨天真麻烦，我讨厌下雨!

It is truth that gender discrimination still exists when female comes to find work, some females never mention her gender on the resume, just to make sure that the employers will give them the chances to get the interview. Females should improve their competiveness, so that they will have more work chances.

But the positive toward life and work brings them to a high level, which will impress the employer.

Second, female students must be confident. Lots of big companies like to hold a group discussion to select people, those who are silent and find it difficult to get involved in the discussion will not be considered. The employers think such people are not confident and won’t do well in the work.

第二，女学生必须自信。很多大型公司喜欢举行小组讨论来选人，那些保持沉默和难以融入讨论的人是不被考虑在内的。雇佣者认为这样的人不自信，无法胜任工作。

It is necessary for women to improve competiveness, if they want to go further than males. The positive attitude and being confident will let female win more chances.

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget

about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer

vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over

all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a

better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of

exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It
