Dragon Boat Festival， often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival， is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. 每当这时候，我只能给他们当裁判。在大家跳绳的时候，我会忍不住想：如果我也会跳，就可以成为他们中间的一员。为个人或者为集体赢得比赛取得光荣，胜利之后的喜悦该是多么美好啊！

我把这事跟姐姐说了。姐姐对我承诺说：“你不要为这事苦恼了。等放寒假以后，我就开始教你跳绳。相信你一定可以学得很棒。”

日子在期盼中一天天的过去了。终于到了寒假。姐姐便开始完成自己的诺言，给我教跳绳了。

第1天，我学的相当顺利。因为对跳绳有很大的新鲜感，而且姐姐教的又耐心。所以不知不觉练了好几个小时。

但是过了几天，事情可就没那么妙了。学习了好几天，我还是不能跳的连贯。跳一下就被套住了。我心想：跳绳真的很难啊！我可能永远都学不会。

开始练习跳绳的时候，我也常常是思想跑毛。一边练习一边想着：这次我肯定跳不好，因为我一点都不适合。

姐姐发现了这种现象，。便问我：“你在想什么？我看你每次练习的时候都不够专注。”

我胆怯的把自己的想法告诉了姐姐。我真的害怕姐姐会失望，不教我了。

出乎意料的是姐姐却笑着说：“一切东西都是从不会到会。在这个过程中，我们可能会经历失败。但是等失败过后，我们就可以迎来成功。坚持的过程才是最美妙的。当你成功后，就会发现，结果其实并没有那么重要。”

我对姐姐的话似懂非懂。但是姐姐的话给了我巨大的勇气。

通过一个多月的练习，我一分钟可以跳100多下了。

回到学校后，同学们都说我这个寒假进步真的很大。

姐姐在我失去信心时，给予了最大的鼓励。虽然只是简简单单的几句话，但是蕴含着一种巨大的力量。姐姐给予我的勇气，就像一条美丽的彩虹。把我的人生装点得更加绚丽多彩。
