我们不仅要照顾好自己家里的老人，还要去多看看养老院中的老人。因为他们的心是寂寞的。他们有的可能是被儿女赶出了家门;也有的可能是无家可归了……

这次实践活动让我明白了许多道理。让我有所长进。我喜欢这次的实践活动，希望下次还能参加。

上周，我们参加了社会实践活动。出发前，妈妈担心军训会很辛苦，问我是否要向老师请假。我拒绝了，这样的体验活动怎能不参与呢？我可是晋江少年呢！

军训生活的艰辛是我所预料到的。一天大部分时间都在操场上度过。操场上似乎只有嘹亮的口号声，整齐而又一致的步伐。一次又一次的重复动作，让我充分体会到铁棒磨成针的辛苦。

记得我们做的最多的动作就是站军姿、蹲姿，在烈日炙烤的大地上。我们抬头挺胸，一动不动地站立着。热气不断地从地上往上透，脚底又酸又痛，豆大的汗珠从脸上渗透下来，但是我们不敢去擦，坚持挺立着，心里说不出的苦和辣。

不仅训练辛苦，吃和住也是不尽如人意。十个人住一个房间，对于我们来说，在家早已习惯了软绵绵的床了，所以在刚来的头两天我晚上都辗转反侧，难以入勉。吃的呢？虽然保证吃饱，但与家中妈妈精心准备的美味佳肴相比那是有天壤之别……

尽管如此，我与同学们依然坚持，从不缺席任何一次训练，更不像其他班的几个同学半途而废。在日复一日的锻炼，我们少了一份娇气，多了一份坚强，少了一份依赖，多了一份自强，少了一份怨天尤人，有了一份勇往直前。同时也懂得了自强、自爱和自律，更学会“流血流汗不流泪，掉皮掉肉不掉队”的可贵精神。

火是生命的起源，它给我们带来希望与温暖，但同时也带来了危害。有时它是无情的：多少个家庭因为它而破碎，多少条生命因为它而失去。我们不得不要提防它，所以现在要多学习消防知识自救逃生。

我们都知道，火灾致人伤亡有两大原因：一是浓烟毒气窒息，二是火焰的烧伤和强大的热辐射，只要能避开或降低这两种危害，说不定就能在火里逃出来，获得第二次生命!

火灾自救，时刻留意逃生路。每个人对自己工作、学习或居住的建筑物的结构及逃生路径要做到有所了解，要熟悉建筑物内的消防设施及自救逃生的方法。这样，火灾发生时，就不会走投无路了。当你处于陌生的环境时，务必留心疏散通道、安全出口及楼梯方位等，以便关键时候能尽快逃离现场。

扑灭小火，惠及他人利自身。当发生火灾时，如果火势不大，且尚未对人造成很大威胁时，应充分利用周围的消防器材，如灭火器、消防栓等设施将小火控制、扑灭。千万不要惊慌失措地乱叫乱窜，或置他人于不顾而只顾自己“开溜”，或置小火于不顾而酿成大灾

突遇火灾，保持镇静速撤离。突然面对浓烟和烈火，一定要保持镇静，迅速判断危险地点和安全地点，决定逃生的办法，尽快撤离险地。千万不要盲目地跟从人流和相互拥挤、乱冲乱窜。只有沉着镇静，才能想出好办法。

尽快脱离险境，珍惜生命莫恋财。在火场中，生命贵于金钱。身处险境，逃生为重，必须争分夺秒，切记不可贪财。

迅速撤离，匍匐前进莫站立。在撤离火灾现场时，当浓烟滚滚、视线不清、呛得你喘不过气来时，不要站立行走，应该迅速地爬在地面上或蹲着，以便寻找逃生之路。

善用通道，莫用电梯走绝路。发生火灾时，除可以利用楼梯等安全出口外，还可以利用建筑物的阳台、窗台、天窗等攀到周围的安全地点，或沿着落水管、避雷线等建筑结构中凸出物滑下楼。

烟火围困，避险固守要得法。当逃生通道被切断且短时间内无人救援时，可采取寻找或创造避难场所、固守待援的办法。首先应关紧迎火的门窗，打开背火的门窗，用湿毛巾、湿布堵塞门缝或用水浸湿棉被蒙上门窗，然后不停用水淋透房间，防止烟火渗入，固守待援。

跳楼有术，保命力求不损身。火灾时有不少人选择跳楼逃生。跳楼也要讲技巧，跳楼时应尽量往救生气垫中部跳或选择有水池、软雨篷、草地等方向跳;如有可能，要尽量抱些棉被、沙发垫等松软物品或打开大雨伞跳下，以减缓冲击力。

火及己身，就地打滚莫惊跑。火场上当自己的衣服着火时，应赶紧设法脱掉衣服或就地打滚，压灭火苗;能及时跳进水中或让人向身上浇水、喷灭火剂就更有效了。

身处险境，自救莫忘救他人。任何人发现火灾，都应尽快拨打“119”电话呼救，及时向消防队报火警。火场中的儿童和老弱病残者，他们本人不具备或者丧失了自救能力，在场的其他人除自救外，还应当积极救助他们尽快逃离险境。

有一个成语叫“玩火自焚”就是要告诉我们，不要玩火，要不然就会烧到自己。为了不要让火灾发生，我们应该多了解消防知识，学习消防知识，听取消防教育、宣传消防知识，要注意生活的每个小细节，凡事都要小心谨慎，做到懂消防、知消防、了解消防。

之后，她拿了一本书，开始给我们讲故事。故事是：一个小老头除了鸟儿以外，不再喜欢任何动物，鸟儿要迁徙，小老头给它们食物，不让它们飞走。松鼠把食物吃了，小老头想了办法，让它们吃不到。但是最终鸟儿走了，小老头很伤心，松鼠就给了小老头一些惊喜，让小老头和松鼠们和好了。

讲完故事，让我们分组，并问了几个问题，抢答。我们组得到的分数最多。

时间过得飞快，我们圆满的结束了这次“社会实践”活动。

通过这一次活动，我可以更好的和外国友人一起交流，促进文化的交流，可以使中国和其它国家的关系更加融洽。

这将是为了以后的锻炼，也告诉了我，学习是很重要的。

我可以通过今天的“外教英语课”之后，了解到了一些外国人的看法与见解，还有外国人的教课方式。

这整整一节课里，我学到了不少知识，这一堂课里，也很欢乐，大家都十分积极举手发言。

总之，这节课还让我历历在目，难以忘怀。

我也希望我们的社区里，可以多组织一些这样的活动，这样可以增强我们的兴趣爱好，也是一个锻炼。

三月，吴老师让我们以小组为单位开展一次调查周围环境的活动，这是我们第二单元语文综合实践活动的内容。

我们组有七个组员，他们分别是孔纾婷，廖宇橦，刘雨彤，朱慧雯，蔡心妍，麦蔚旻和我。星期五下午的时候，组长孔纾婷召集我们一起开个会，商量调查内容、分工以及商讨如何开展这次活动。最后我们决定星期日下午两点钟，一起到珠江码头集中，开展调查珠江的活动。

到了星期日的下午，所有人都到齐了，调查问卷也在家长的帮助下已经打印好了。孔纾婷安排我们两个人一组找人填写调查问卷，我和朱慧雯一组，一起开展调查。看着珠江边来来往往的人，我想：找谁调查比较好呢？对，找年纪比较大些的人，他们比较了解珠江的过去和现在。我开始用目光寻找目标。忽然，我看见一位老伯伯正在珠江边悠闲地散步，对就是他了。

我和朱慧雯连忙朝老伯走过去，但快到他跟前时，我开始放慢了脚步，心有些紧张起来，不知道如何开口。我定了定神，默默地对自己说：“心凌，加油，你一定可以的！”我鼓起勇气，走向老爷爷，礼貌地对他说：“爷爷，您好！我们是康有为纪念小学的学生。今天我们来调查珠江的情况。请问您能帮我们填一下调查表吗？”老伯伯非常爽快地答应了。他热情地帮我们填表，由于他眼睛有些老花，看不太清字，朱慧雯和我还一起帮他读题呢。在我们的帮助下，他顺利地完成了调查问卷。后来，我们还成功地采访了其他三个人。

通过采访我们了解到，以前，珠江的水质是非常好的，人们经常到珠江边洗衣，游泳。后来，随着社会经济的发展，人们大量的建工厂，对珠江的破坏日益严重，珠江受到了严重污染。现在，人们日益明白了环保的重要性，政府也加大珠江的治理力度。近几年来珠江的水质慢慢变好，江面不再漂满垃圾，江水不再又黑又臭。如今，人们把珠江两岸打扮得更加美丽，种上了各种各样的花草树木，增加了休闲设施，让母亲河更加快乐地流淌。

这真是一次有意义的活动，不但锻炼了我的胆量，还让我明白了环保的重要性，体会到要想让珠江变得更美，还需要我们每一个人的共同努力。

Almost everybody loves music, because music has its power. It can brings

joy to people when they feel upset. As for me, when I am not happy, I will turn

up the music in my bedroom, singing loudly and shaking my body. As Im immersed

in the music world, I will forget the annoyance and become active again. Music

also brings me the happy memories. Some songs have special meaning for me.

Whenever I hear them, the happy memories will appear in my mind. I feel life is

such wonderful for me. Music is the most beautiful language in the world. It

these superheroes characters as their idols. So some people start to feel

disappointed about the local culture, because they havent seen its essence. As

the world gets globalization, it is in need of building peoples sense of local

cultural heritage.

The preservation of our cultural heritage is the necessary task. The

culture contains the essence of Chinese peoples spirit, which has been tested

by time. When people admit our culture, we will be proud of being part of the

country, so as to enhance the unity and have the desire to make a contribution

to the society. The loss of cultural heritage will destroy a country, which can

be seen in history.

As the young generation faces the cultural shock in the globalization, so

they are easy to deny the local culture, because they know little about it. Thus

school should implant the education of culture and the government has named a

day called Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, in the purpose of advocating the

essence of local culture. When children grow up, they will fight for protecting

the culture.

这个暑假，我去京广书城实践了十天，这十天，是我获益最大的十天。

记得第一天去实践时，干什么，怎么干，我毫无所知，只是想尽快完成实践任务，其它的都不重要。到了那里，一位姐姐告诉我，如果看到书乱了，就整理一下，不乱你就干自己的事情好了;一般半个小时左右看一下就好，不用一直转，应该会很轻松。

的确，很轻松。我一天去三小时，三小时其实很短，因为陪伴我的有书，有乐趣，这使我的实践获益无穷。

从《安妮日记》到《骆驼祥子》;从《钢铁是怎样炼成的》到《朝花夕拾》;从《简爱》到《羊脂球》，再到一部部小说集，其中的内容让人难以忘怀——忘不了那句"当回忆起往事时，他不会因虚度年华而悔恨。都已献给了世界上最伟大的事业———为人类的解放而斗争。";不会忘了那个"坚壮，沉默，而又有生气"的祥子，更忘不了那个"自私的、不行的、社会病胎里的产儿、个人主义的末路鬼"。这些都来自于书，来自于在书城实践活动的收获。虽然每天要工作三小时，会少一些玩的时间，少一些写作业的时间，可是我相信在实践中所学到的知识，是不亚于在家中、在课本上所学的知识的。

从实践中，我还知道了为什么书没有交款拿到门口时，门口的报警器会响——那是因为，每当书店进来一批新书时，服务员们会把一个小铁片夹在或贴在书中，正因为这个小铁片，书离报警器近的时候，报警器才会做出反应。我想这个发现可能是只有在这种实践中才会发现的。

活动最后我荣获了"服务之星"的称号，并获得了六十块钱的书，这或许算不了什么，但是这是我劳动所得，这仅仅是属于我自己，所以它对我有更深的一层意义。

今天是个不平常的星期五，因为今天我们学校五年级的同学要去时思基地实践活动。一路上，同学们激动得一直在讨论到了基地会干些什么。

终于到达目的地了，同学们有序地排队下车，所有同学都集中在体育场，然后兵分三路。

首先，我们来到了民俗馆，在那儿，我看到了许多古代常用的而现在已经被淘汰了的生活用品，交通工具等。我看到了暖手用的汤婆子，计量用的升罗，除草用的耥，还有有钱人用来迎娶新娘的花轿，而贫苦人家则是用独轮车迎娶新娘。独轮车轻巧省力，对地面要求不高，还可以拉很多货物，可它也有缺点：它只有一个轮子，所以容易倾斜，翻车。

参观完民俗馆后，我们来到了由太仓海事局组织的“水上知识”的课程，听了教官幽默风趣的讲课后，同学们都了解到了许多水上交通安全知识。

上完课后，同学们一起来到食堂，进行了动手实践活动，我们先听讲解员讲了饺子的寓意，然后开始包，送到了1号窗口。饺子出锅后，我吃到了“小笼包”，没有饺子馅的，饺子馅露外面的，等等等等。

吃完中饭，大家到了动物园。我知道牛全身是宝，有4个胃；毛驴肉可做阿胶；马驴杂交的叫骡子，可不能繁殖。香猪妈妈和它的小香猪宝宝们粉红色的鼻子一拱一拱的，真可爱。我们还看了山羊，鸽子，孔雀，大雁……我们还去了萌宠馆，看到了许多萌翻了的小鹦鹉，小珍珠鸟，小仓鼠，小金鱼等，两只白色的公公婆婆一直挤在小屋里，可亲热了呢！

快乐的时光总是短暂的，我们要返程了。今天，我过得十分充实，因为游玩让我开阔了眼界，增长了知识。

Dear Sir,

I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. This I hope will help me enter into business commerce with business organizations partnering with Chinas economic development.

I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special.

I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.
