在我家乡的东面，有两座大山，一座是五指山，一座是锤子窝。听爷爷讲它们俩曽是一对好兄弟，感情很好，从不吵架，对方做错了事也不会责怪对方，只是互相包容，让对方改过来，它们挨在一起住，生活得十分幸福。

可是，有一天俩兄弟为了砍伐树木而吵了起来，他俩互骂对方，谁都不让谁，最后还打了起来，弟弟用自己的爪子挖了哥哥的脸，还有五个手指印在哥哥的脸上，哥哥非常生气，找来了大锤子，重重的朝弟弟身上砸了过去，弟弟的身子一砸就陷了下去，弟弟更生气了。从此，两兄弟一个毁了容貌，一个变成了小矮子。

两人从此就不再是兄弟了。在生活中，两人都好胜，谁也想比过对方，都不相让，而且它俩不互相包容，感情也越来越恶化了。弟弟不在理哥哥，而是整天贫嘴。哥哥也不让着弟弟整天和它吵架。最后哥弟俩烦了。它俩不再住一起了，哥哥去了西边，弟弟去了东边。久而久之，就形成了两座山。他们相对而生，却有又在山底断开。

这就是我们家乡的两座大山，一个叫五指山，另一个叫锤子窝。西边是哥哥五指山，东边是弟弟锤子窝。

现在，这两座山还屹立在我家乡。

城中镜湖，碧波荡漾，湖畔垂柳，柳丝轻舞，相传，南宋状元张孝祥，隐居家乡芜湖之时，捐田百亩，掘田成塘，始有今日之镜湖。是芜湖美景之“镜湖垂柳”。湖侧是闻名全国的商业步行一条街——中山路步行街。街两旁商店林立，商品琳琅满目。湖与街相依相伴，集购物休闲于一体。湖的另一侧，是赭山，山与湖相映成影，湖光山色。山峰倒映水中，湖中游鱼，似在山顶嬉游。南山半腰有一座庙宇，传说，地藏菩萨路经此处，留连于此处之美景，建庙修行，起名“广济寺”。寺后有宝塔，夕阳西下，落霞相映于塔，即是芜湖美景之“赭塔晴岚”。

城北有山，名曰“四褐山”，是芜湖最高之处。登上山顶，极目远眺，长江蜿蜒流经山脚，城中之美景与江上旖旎之风光尽收眼底。真有“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色 ”之胜境。山腰有庙宇，曰“西云寺”，与赭山“广济寺”南北相对。此处即芜湖美景之“褐山揽胜”。

站在褐山山顶，向北眺望，不远处，长江流经之处，江两岸有山相对耸立，这就是“天门山”。相传唐代大诗人李白曾流连于此，写下了“天门中断楚江开，碧水东流直此回，两岸青山相对出，一片孤帆日边来”的千古绝唱。山下江中，烟水濛濛，江流回旋，惊涛拍岸。这里就是芜湖美景之“天门烟浪”。

城东，离城较远处，有一水乡，每至盛夏，十里荷香，弥漫空中。碧绿的荷叶，衬托着朵朵盛开的荷花，荡舟于碧荷之中，沉醉在荷香之境，有如凌波仙子，美不胜收。这里是芜湖美景之“陶辛水韵”。

城南有白马山，乃“渡江侦察记”之原址。山中有洞，虽未去过，但据说洞中藏锦，风景优雅，美妙无比。是芜湖美景之“白马洞天”。再往南，即到繁昌，是解放战争百万雄狮过大江第一船登岸所在地。

城西可隔江相望。一桥飞架南北，恰似长虹卧波，成就了多少牛郎织女的美梦。江北是三国时，著名的古战场，孙权、曹操曾隔岸相望，兵戎相见，可而今英雄安在。

家乡之美，美于人杰，美于地灵，美于美境之不可胜收，非笔墨之能描述。身监其境，方能感受之。

Luoyangs Longmen Grottoes, famous for its grand treasure trove of Chinese Buddhist statues, are located 12km (7 miles) south of Luoyang. First sculpted and chiseled around 493 AD when the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) was moved from Datong City to Luoyang, the grottoes of Luoyang house an awe-inspiring collection of sculpted Buddha and other religious subjects.

Kaifeng, one of the ancient capitals, also boasts the following buildings worthy of a visit: Iron Pagoda (Tie Ta) of the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), Dragon Pavilion (Long Ting) - site of imperial palace of the Song and Jin dynasties - and the 1400-year-old Xiangguo Temple which is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Also on view in Kaifeng are ruins of the Shang Dynasty, an important part of human cultural and historic heritage. The Shang Dynasty Ruins, also known as the Yin Ruins, are famous because of the unique style of the large palace and its grand mausoleums, in which emperors of the Shang Dynasty are buried. The bronze vessels of the Shang Dynasty, which were both finely decorated and popularly used by the citizens of the Shang Dynasty, are well-known at home and abroad.

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is

rich in fish and rice.

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had

no work. They lived a hard life.

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken

place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals,

cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is

greatly improved.

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard

so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

I am in primary school now, and I like my campus so much. The first time I

天目湖位于溧阳市区南八里处，那里依山傍水，湖四周群山环抱，湖水清澈，中间有棋盘似的田畔，疏密错落的茶园。无论走到哪里都是一幅好画。这里有许多动物，与人类和谐共处。自然景观与人文景观相得益彰。

我的家乡在孙伯，我们家乡的特产有很多，如：南栾犬肉、岈山小米、核桃等。其中我最爱吃核桃了。

它喜阳，耐寒冷。因为它的适应力很强，所以它能在大多数的土壤里生长。它开花的时候正是鸟语花香的春天，而在金色的秋天，枝头上就会挂满灰绿色的核桃果。

核桃其实不是一摘下来就有一层坚硬的皮，而是面上有一层又软又滑溜的皮，呈灰绿色的。挂在树上，远远看着像一盏又一盏的小绿灯。剥下它的那件灰绿色的“外衣”，就有一层坚硬的“铠甲”， “铠甲”上坑坑洼洼的，像被冲力很大的小石子撞击过一样。真奇怪！它为什么它要把“外衣”穿在外面，“铠甲”却穿在里面呢？

我查了查电脑，原来呀！核桃没成熟的时候，“外衣”上有很多又细又有一点儿长的毛。当成熟的时候毛就会自动脱落下来，这时它“铠甲”就显露在外面了。

它很好吃，吃的时候注意不要直接吃，要拿锤子慢慢地把核桃的“铠甲”砸烂，然后把里面的仁弄出来就可以吃了。

我小时候，常常到这里来玩。对了，我家还有一座花圃，里面种有各式各样的花，有牡丹花、杜鹃花、太阳花......

我的家乡很美吧!我非常喜欢我的家乡，在我眼里，哪里都比不上我美丽又亲切的家乡。

我的家是湛江。今年春节我回了一次湛江，那里美丽极了！我的名字叫林悦湛，就因为我的家乡就是湛江。

那里的海边有一个海滨公园，公园时面绿树成荫，花草茂盛，路的两旁长满了高大的椰子树。海滨公园里还有音乐馆、游乐场、游戏区等。到了节目的晚上还有演出和烟花。

湛江还有一个渔夫公园，那里可以放鞭炮，玩沙子和滑滑梯，那里景色美丽极了，我们在那里照了很多相片。

湛江还有很多海鲜，如螃蟹、鱼翅、鲍鱼、龙虾……我喜欢吃螃蟹，味道美极了。

湛江还有海弯大桥、寸金公园、观海长廊……湛江真是一座美丽的城市，是我可爱的故乡。

家乡的特色小吃—土豆饼

我的家乡金昌有很多小吃，牛肉面、凉皮子、沙米凉粉、油饼卷糕、土豆饼等，这些小吃风味各不相同，在这些地方特色小吃中，我最喜欢的是土豆饼，为什么呢？让我给大家介绍一下，相信你们一定会喜欢的。

土豆饼，顾名思义，就是用土豆做的饼。大家一定会问：土豆做的饼有什么希奇的呢？玉米饼、南瓜饼我们都吃过了，也就那样呗！如果你们真的这么以为，那就大错特错了。土豆饼之所以能成为特色小吃，一定就不是表面看起来那么简单，自然有它的独特之处，制作它可麻烦着呢！

做土豆饼的第一道工序就是挑土豆，只有原料好，土豆饼的味道才会好，所以挑选的土豆一定要个大饱满，而且，皮越粗糙的越好吃，甘肃盛产土豆，这自然不在话下了。第二步就是削皮，先把土豆洗干净然后再削皮，这也是个技术活呢，可得小心自己的手呢，可别伤着了。这下该进行第三步了——磨土豆，这个步骤是做土豆饼整个过程中比较关键的环节，因为磨不好会直接影响土豆饼的口感，所以一定要磨均匀。第四步是调制了，磨完的土豆糊有一点稀，不容易摊成饼，必须要加入适量面粉，面粉加入量以搅拌中无渗出水为好。为了土豆饼口感好，一定要打上几个鸡蛋，最后再根据个人口味加入食盐等调味料。好了，现在开始烙饼了，可以用平底锅或电饼铛，烙饼的关键是要掌握好火候，火大了容易糊，火小了容易碎，只要前面的工作做的扎实到位，这也没啥难的，一块饼只需五六分钟就好了。你们瞧，不一会儿功夫，几张圆圆的、黄橙橙的、香喷喷的土豆饼就做好了，光闻着就让人忍不住流口水呢。你们一定会问这下可以吃了吧，直接吃当然可以。可最佳的吃法是将土豆饼上面匀涂少量油泼辣椒面、酱、蒜苗丝及葱，再卷起来吃，或切成条拌着吃，味道真是好极了。说到这儿，我都馋了，你们呢！
