I was born in a small village of Shan Dong Province on April 4th, 1968. When I was young, my family was very poor, so I had to work to earn money to help my parents after class when I was in the middle school.

In 1986 I was admitted by University of International Business and Economics (or: UIBE) to pursue a bachelor degree in Economics. My major is accounting in Department of International Business Management. The undergraduate education gave me a wide range of vision and taught me how to cooperate with others. I developed several professional interests in Accounting, Finance, and International Trade.

The following eight-year working experience offered me a good chance to give full play to my creativity, intelligence and diligence. In 1990-1993, I worked as an assistant to funding manager in China National Technical Import and Export Corporation. In 1993-present, I was employed by China Kingdom Import and Export Corporation to be the Manger of Financial and Accounting Division.

I do believe that with my hard early life, solid educational background and ample working experience, I would be an excellent student of you MBA program.

MY PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT: After graduating from UIBE, I was employed as the assistant to the funding manager by China National Technical Import and Export Corporation. After reading a lot of related files, and analyzing the overall funding situation of the corporation, I found that the loan policy was not been put into effect. So we have thousands of millions RMB loan with very high interest rate while a large amount of cash in bank with very low interest rate was idle. I reported this to my supervisor, and then we studied and revised the loan policy. This revision saved the corporation approximately RMB thirty millions yuan. In order to raise the funding effectiveness, after one year’s hard work, I developed the internal banking system within the corporation based on the actual funding supply and need of the different divisions and projects. This internal banking system made full use of the corporation’ funding resources, and due to this, I was highly praised by the president of the corporation.

吉林的雾凇堪称世界奇观，松原的雾凇也绝不逊色。那天，我站在松花江畔，放眼望去，只见松江两岸的树木，一夜之间变得银白一片，树木枝叶上都凝霜挂雪，披银缀玉，好似天公馈赠的“奇树”。你瞧，那棵棵柳树宛如玉枝垂挂，那簇簇松针恰似银菊怒放，琼枝玉叶，婀娜多姿。嘿，再仔细端详，那边的枝条多像是一串串的冰糖葫芦啊！没有吉林松花湖畔的壮观，但我也被带进梦幻的世界里：我似乎成了一位“银童”，一会摸摸树爷爷的白胡子，一会拍拍雪娃娃的肩膀，小鸟叽叽喳喳地告诉我松花江上的故事。我享受着这清凉、寂静、绝美的境界，舒服极了。

我们松原的冬天最值得一提的还有被称为“吉林八景”之一的查干湖冬捕。每年腊月冬捕的第一天，各地人们纷纷慕名前来，欣赏这将2000米长的大网通过相隔60多米的冰洞，用传杆、扭矛和走钩在50多厘米厚的冰层下慢慢舒展成一个硕大的“包鱼围”的一幕。几个小时后，随着马拉绞盘的转动，一张张大网从冰洞缓缓而出，一会儿的工夫，一条条胖头鱼、鲤鱼、鲫鱼、鲶鱼、草鱼……争相跃出冰洞，转眼之间就在湖面上堆起一座座高高的鱼山。人们欢呼着，．跳跃着，从壮观的捕鱼场地到热闹的买卖场地，分享着家乡的水特产。2006年12月30日，查干湖冬捕以规模最大、单网产量10.45万公斤的成绩被载入吉尼斯世界纪录，2009年1月3日又以单网产量16.8万公斤的成绩刷新了吉尼斯世界纪录。这应该是松原人民的骄傲！

春节期间，松原江滨公园的冰灯展会成为我们当地节日文化的一部分。大型的冰雕门气势宏伟，光彩照人。漫步园内，整齐的红灯笼在这银色的世界里就像是丰收的果实，让人越看越喜欢。多彩的闪灯就像顽皮的孩子，撩拨着喜庆的气氛。我四处走走，哇！好美呀！这里到处是形态各异的冰雕：有的是动物形状的，都是龙、马、猴子等十二生肖动物。各具情态，惟妙惟肖。有的是植物标本，就是把一些花或者草封在冰块里，供人欣赏。花草在这透明的“冰箱”里依然很精神。这里还有很多高大冰雕，像手拿佛珠，面带笑容的如来佛，像手拿宝瓶的观音，像北京的天坛，吉祥的大熊猫，它们的雕刻更是巧夺天工，让人们赞叹不已。大人们在冰雕前拍照、谈论，小朋友们在冰雕中间追逐、嬉戏，沉浸在这欢乐、祥和的冰雪世界中。

the metro. Metro is a beautiful place, as a handsome township of children, we

should say loudly: "metro is a good place!"

Metro beautiful scenery. In front of the metro is water, is behind the

all is wide asphalt road. Binjiang road but also the beautiful scenery line of

In metro east side, there is a second Yangtze river bridge, it is currently

the only car sharing with light rail bridge in chongqing. It is not only a

bright spot of the metro and metros masterpiece. Metro is rapid economic

我的家乡在美丽富饶的潮汕地区。潮汕地区南面濒临海洋，其余三面环山，形成一个封闭而开放的独立体系。潮汕文化既保存了中原古文化的精粹，又吸纳了海外文化的菁华，历经了数千年的融汇升华，形成了中国典型的海洋文化，成为与齐鲁文化、蜀汉文化相媲美的中华文化的一支。

潮汕地区最早的居民是越族。传说，越族人的脚小趾是“重甲”的（即有两片相叠的趾甲）。到了秦朝以后，来自河南、山西一带的中原人民陆续南迁。他们大多先迁往江浙地区，后经福建辗转迁入潮汕地区。他们带来了先进的生产工具和生产技术，与越族人交流、融合、繁衍生息，使越族人逐渐汉化，形成了潮汕先民。现在，要找到脚小趾“重甲”的人可不是一件容易的事。我的大姑两只脚小趾都“重甲”，我爸爸则是右脚的脚小趾“重甲”。

潮汕方言属于闽南方言，是一种富有地方特色的方言体系。据专家研究，潮汕方言起源于古老的闽越土语。中原人民入潮后，他们带来的中原方言与古闽越土语逐渐融合，经过长期的历史演变，潮汕方言逐渐形成，成为独立的次方言。潮汕方言古朴典雅，它保留了许多中国古语。郭沫若说：“潮州话是中国古语保留得最多的一种方言，和现行的标准语似乎也是距离得最远的一种。”比如，古字中有许多在“不”字下面加个字，用来表示相反的意思。现代汉字里只剩下“歪”“甭”“孬”三个字；而潮汕就有“不会”，“不是”，“不怕”等字。这些字写出来，观其形，就可以知道它的意思了。潮汕话也保留了一些古词。如：把炒菜的锅叫“鼎”，把粥叫“糜”，这正是两千年前的用法。潮汕人称厕所为“东司”，它的来源是因为唐代厕所大多建在东侧。如此说来，这个潮汕人认为很“土”的词，倒有些古雅了。

潮汕方言也引进了一些外来词汇。比如，有些人称“卡车”为罗离”（“rolly”），称“小面包”为“罗的”（“roti”），称“拐杖”为“动角”（马来语）等。这些外来语的应用，与潮汕地区靠近东南亚，较早开埠等因素是有很大关系的。潮汕话中也有一些避讳。在我爸爸的出生地——东墩，聚居着“张”“黄”两个姓氏的人。那里张姓的人说纸的时候不说“一张纸”，他们说“一合纸”。

公婆母是一个可以保佑孩子顺利成人的守护神。出花园要拜公婆母，一方面答谢神恩，一方面是祈求孩子成人后平安大吉。这一天，十五虚岁的孩子要换上全身新衣服，父母在孩子的床头摆上三牲（鸡、猪肉、鱼）和供品，跪拜公婆母神。父母用石榴花蘸水，把水洒在孩子身上。这一天里，孩子照例是不可以出门的，这一年里不可以去陌生地方，也不要参加婚丧礼仪。潮汕地区的人们供养着许多神明。地主爷是几乎家家户户都供奉着的。他是一位可以保护家宅平安的土地神。每逢农历初一、十五，人们就会供拜地主爷。大峰祖师则是一位行善积德的得道高僧。宋朝年间，他在我外公的出生地——和平镇救死扶伤，施医赠药，为当地人民做了许多好事，被尊为潮汕慈善事业的开山祖。由于潮汕地区濒临海洋，海神对于潮汕人民来说，是非常重要的。妈祖是潮汕地区人人供奉的海上女神。凡是有港口的地方就有妈祖庙，妈屿岛有天后宫，小公园有老妈宫，樟林古港有天后宫……清朝末年，许多潮汕人迫于生计，乘着红头船背井离乡去“过番”（到东南亚一带求生），都会在港口的天后宫里拜过妈祖再走。妈祖救助海上灾难的故事传遍了潮汕地区，也伴随着下南洋的人的足迹传遍了整个世界。

游神是潮汕地区一项隆重的民俗活动，俗称“营老爷”（即抬着神像巡游），抬着的神像一般是“关帝君”等。各个村子的规模、时间都各不相同。记得小时侯，每年农历正月廿七，我都会去外婆的出生地——芦溪看游神，如今长大了，倒没机会去了。

Nowadays, there are many kinds of activities for people entertaining in their leisure time, especially in holiday, such as climbing a mountain, having a picnic, holding a party and so on. However, these recreational activities have its advantages but also bring some harmful influences to people’s lives.

First, to some extent, these recreational activities enrich people’s lives. Those who take part in different activities will not be easy to feel lonely or boring in their leisure time and live wonderful lives instead. Second, taking part in some group activities is a good form to strengthen friendships. For example, many students will hold a union to collect their old classmates or friends in winter holiday so that they have a common time to communicate with each other. Last but not least, such activities like climbing a mountain provide a good chance to do exercise.

However, these recreational activities also bring some problems at the same time. For one thing, taking part in too many these activities will increase the burden of themselves or their families because it is inevitable to spend some money in holding these activities. For another, some recreational activities have potential harm for participants’ health, particularly staying up all night, drinking and smoking.

现在的东台老百姓不出远门就可以欣赏一场场精妙绝伦的“文化大餐”。在这儿建起了漂亮的体育馆，每隔一段时间就会有一些大明星来这里表演节目。《欢乐中国行》也曾来到东台，在这里举行了一场热闹无比的演唱会，让东台的老百姓大开眼界。

在我们东台建立了仙湖农业生态园，为什么说是“仙湖”？因为那里曾经有神仙住过。那儿的植物不仅美，而且多。有楚楚动人的菊花、有含苞欲放的月季花、有碧绿的仙人草、还有那火红火红的枫叶……。生态园的正中央有一个大的金鱼池，那里的金鱼在快活的游来游去。

我们这儿还有美丽的滩涂风光，在那里，可以品尝到活蹦乱跳的虾，张牙舞爪的螃蟹，鲜嫩无比的文蛤。东台的鱼汤面、陈皮酒，也是闻名天下的。

You want to know sthe changes about my hometown. You know, great changes have taken place since 60 years ago.

In the past, the living conditions were very poor. There were not many buses or cars, and the roads were narrow. Usually, a big family was crowed into a small, dark house. Most families couldn’t get enough food. The communications were simple and slow. People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far away mainly by letter or telegram.

Thanks to the government, our hometown has developed rapidly in recent years. The living conditions are much better and more comfortable. The roads are wide. Some people have their own cars. Most of the people have lived in big new houses. Quite a few adults have mobile phones. Because of many good policies, I think our lives will become better and better.

我的故乡在豫北，我爱家乡的红果。

红果又叫“山里红。”红果中含有丰富的钙和胡萝卜素，钙含量居水果之首，胡萝卜素的含量仅次于枣和猕猴桃，最适于我们小孩儿食用。

山楂树喜欢生在山地、丘陵、沙荒地的土壤里成长。每年五月是山楂树长身体的最佳时间，它们吃饱喝足了就不分昼夜的使劲往上长。到了六月，在绿油油叶子中间，镶满了白颜色的小花蕾。

八月以后，山楂树上就挂满了圆圆的、青青的“球形青果果。”用手轻轻摸一下，硬硬的，一串串整齐的排列着挂在树上。

等到十月份的时候，在树妈妈的呵护下，青果果一天一天的长大了。青果果都变成了红果果。用手轻轻的摸起来，软软的、红红的，表面还有淡淡的小斑点。用手拨开，果皮是红的、果肉白的，可真馋人。放在嘴里，酸酸甜甜……每次看到红果，我都流口水，还真有点望梅止渴的感觉。

高邮湖位于京杭大运河河畔，是江苏省第三大淡水湖，总面积 780 平方公里。因水位高于运河而称为悬湖，又因位于高邮城西，又称之为西湖。

高邮湖是美丽的湖，她既有天赋的自然美，也有许多美丽的传说，如“甓社珠光”、“耿庙神灯”等。夕阳西下，我们一家人和爸爸的两个朋友家驱车来到的高邮湖。放眼望去，湖面上烟波浩渺，秋日的夕阳把一片片金光洒在湖面上，水天连接，水天一色。

高邮湖，不仅是美丽的湖，也是富饶的湖。高邮湖水面宽阔、水质好，为各种鱼类、鸟类和水生植物的生长提供了得天独厚的生态环境。湖面上千顷荷花，万顷菱角，在微风的吹拂下发出沙沙的声响。向我们发出邀请。我们三个小朋友以最快的速度登上一艘快艇，在爸爸妈妈的陪同下，快艇带着我们，像一尾灵活的大鱼，挺进“接天莲叶无穷碧”的藕塘深处，我们尽情的采摘成熟的莲蓬，小朋友互相比谁摘的莲蓬更大，更美。 欢声笑语惊起一只只水鸟。

回岸上后，我们迫不及待的剥开莲蓬，品尝那丝丝的清香，淡淡的甜。

高邮湖真的很美，这种美你可以用眼睛去欣赏，用耳朵去倾听，用嘴巴去品尝。

远处，连绵起伏的大山被云雾笼罩着，若隐若现，美丽极了。山上，一棵棵高大的大树密密层层的排列着，远远望去，就像一片绿色的海洋。

近处，山脚下有一片碧绿的湖水。湖水里经常有几只鸭子或天鹅在水里欢快的游泳。在湖的后面有几座房子，每座房前都会有一个小院子。我家的院子最大，里面种有西红柿、朝天椒、丝瓜......而且还种了许多水果呢!在我家房子后面有一片竹林，春天，那里一片绿色生机勃勃。夏天，他们挺直腰板，像看守在这里的士兵。秋天，它们的叶子慢慢飘落下来，恰似一只只美丽的蝴蝶翩翩起舞。冬天，洁白的雪花飘落在他们的身上，好似美丽的冰雪姑娘。

我小时候，常常到这里来玩。对了，我家还有一座花圃，里面种有各式各样的花，有牡丹花、杜鹃花、太阳花......

我的家乡很美吧!我非常喜欢我的家乡，在我眼里，哪里都比不上我美丽又亲切的家乡。
