盼星星盼月亮，终于把期盼已久的拔河比赛盼来了。

早上队员们一个个精神抖擞地走进赛场，一进场就听见啦啦队的吹呼声震耳欲聋。我作为队员之一，心扑通扑通地跳着，仿佛心里有只兔子马上就要蹦出来了。

比赛开始了，同学们使出吃奶的劲儿，像一头斗牛似的拼命往后拉。主力队员小悦使出浑身气力，身子不由得向后倾，小绮憋红了脸，像个红苹果。一位女生脸上青筋暴起，那就是我。同学们手被绳子勒红了，但也一声不吭，依然用力地向后拉着“一二拉、一二拉!”红绳一点点地向我们移动，“第一轮1：0”，同学们兴奋地欢呼起来，互相击掌，互相鼓励，为下一轮做着准备。

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

a day to have fun.

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

mind, I only knew Chinese traditional festivals, I liked Spring Festival best, I

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

know it. Almost every young people like Christmas, but if you ask them what the

meaning of the day, less of them can answer.

The meaning of Christmas Day is to remind people of Jesus’s birth, it is so

important for the western people, but for me, I only want to have fun, everyone

is celebrating it, so I join them, being happy, that’s enough for me.

The first mention of decorated trees being taken indoors came in 1605 in Germany - a country with a long Christmas tree history! The trees were initially decorated with fruit and sweets together with hand made objects such as quilled snowflakes and stars. German Christmas Markets began to sell shaped gingerbreads and wax ornaments which people bought as souvenirs of the fair and took home to hang on their tree.

Tinsel was also invented in Germany in about 1610. Up until fairly recently real silver was used, which was pulled into wafer thin strips by special machines. This was durable but tarnished quickly and mmany experiments took plaace to try and find an alternative - including a mix of lead and tin, which was too heavy and kept breaking. It was only in the mid 20th century that a viable alternative was found.

Artificial trees were invented in the 1880s in a bid to try and stop some of the damage being caused to real trees due to people lopping the tip off large trees, thus preventing the trees from growing any further. It got so bad in Germany that laws had to be brought in to prevent people having more than one tree.

生而知者之是不存在的，“天才”也是不存在的。人们的才能虽有差别，但主要来自于勤奋学习。《伤仲永》一文给我的启示是：一个人即使有很高的天赋，但如果不努力学习，也很难取得真正的成就。

仲永的故事是这样的：并非书香子弟的方仲永5岁时便能“指物作诗，立就”，并“自为其名”，且“文理皆有可观者”，因而扬名邑中。到了十二三岁，才气渐减，“令作诗，不能称前之所闻。”到了成年，竟“泯然众人矣”。

一个天资聪颖的神童，因为被唯利是图的父亲每天带着四处拜访本县的人，而不让他学习，使得“神童”竟沦为一个默默无闻的“庸人”!这能叫人不扼腕叹惜吗?神童泯然众人，责任在于他父亲，原因是“不使学”。像方仲永这样的天才，由于后天没有好好学习，尚且要成为普通的人，那么，那些本来就普普通通的人，如果不学习，岂不是连一个普通的庸人还不如吗?

所以说：才能来自于勤奋学习!“神童”由于后天不好好学习而沦为“庸人”的，在历史上屡见不鲜;而本来不是“神童”、“天才”，但由于坚持不懈地奋发努力，而成为举世闻名的科学家、发明家的却大有人在。

牛顿不是神童，但他终身勤奋学习，很少在午夜两三点以前休息，常常通宵达旦工作，终于取得了令世人瞩目的成就……

爱因斯坦不是神童，中学成绩并不好，大学也是考了两次才被录取，学习也并不出众，后到瑞士一家专利局当了7年职员。在这7年里，爱因斯坦在艰苦的条件下顽强学习、工作，终于奠定了相对论的基础。

爱迪生不是神童，甚至连初小还未念完但他努力自学，总是以无比坚强的意志和毅力，刻苦钻研自己不懂的问题。由于他工作时间比一般人长得多，相当于延长了生命，所以当他79岁的时候，宣称自己已是135岁的人了。

不仅在科学上如此，在文学艺术上也是如此。不论是谁只要付出和他们同样艰辛的努力，都能取得这样或那样的成就。作家狄更斯、巴尔扎克等人的成功同样深刻地说明了这样一个道理：才能来自勤奋学习!

12月25日下午，我们全校举行了圣诞活动。

首先，我们一到六年级一起跳“兔子舞”，齐唱“Jinglebells”。然后我们就到各个班级玩他们创造的各种英语游戏。

先说说我们班的英语游戏吧。它是这样的：电脑上会显示出一个把字母顺序混乱的单词，在十秒后会自动又显示出另一个。只要把这个单词的正确顺序在十秒内说出，连续说对两个就能得到一个印章了。

我和我的好朋友陆文雅一起先玩我们班的游戏。陆文雅先玩，第一个她很顺利的说对了。第二个她就说不出来了。我一看就知道是“Monkey”，可她实在是想不出来，就只好请求老师帮助。老师告诉了她第一个字母是M，可她还是说不出，没办法，就没得到印章。轮到我了!第一个也同样顺利过关，可第二个我也说不出了，只好也求助老师，老师告诉我第一个字母是W，我想了半天，随便说了一个单词的拼写“White”，没想到竟然对了，我就这样幸运的得到了第一个印章。

接着，我们去玩三(6)班的游戏-九宫格。规则是这样的：两人在一个3X3的格子里画“V”和“O”，谁先画满一行，一列或者斜着一排，谁就算赢。第一次石头，剪子，布，她赢，她先画一笔。第二次同样石头，剪子，布，我赢。以此类推，在最后一次千钧一发的情况下，我又赢了一次，满了一行，幸运的得到了第二个印章。

我走出三(6)班时，正好碰上了陈诺。因为两个印章就可以兑换奖品了，所以我就和她一起去兑换了奖品-一本便签本。回到教室，我们又欣赏了李小壮等人的悠悠球表演，可精彩了!

这个圣诞节，我过得非常愉快!

It is known to all that Christmas Day is on December 25th. It is the

biggest day in the western countries. But not so many people know about the

White Christmas in China. The day before Christmas Day, if it snows, then the

world is in white color. People are happy about that, because they think it

means the happiness and luck. So that’s the meaning of White Christmas. It

always snows a lot on Christmas Eve, because it is in winter in the western

countries. All the families get together and enjoy their moment while watching

the white snow. What an enjoyable atmosphere for a family.

朝霞绚丽多彩，与那刚升起的红日遥相呼应，仿佛是人世间最美的景致。可是，晚霞的美丽也毫不逊色呀。

傍晚，太阳暗淡了下来，红的不再那么耀眼，金的不再那么灿烂。慢慢的，慢慢的，霞光映红了半边天。云，不在那么洁白如玉，就像哪位画家一不小心碰翻了装满颜料的调色盘一样，将它染上了鲜艳的颜色。红、黄、葡萄灰、茄子紫、半灰半百合色，还有些听也没听过，见也没见过的颜色都呈现在云的身上，令人大饱眼福。

过了一会儿，夕阳西下，太阳成了一个深红色的皮球，已经有一半沉进了地平线。天空一边深蓝，一边浅蓝，仿佛一个蓝色色相环。云的颜色也加深了不少，他们和太阳一样，也是深红的，似乎快要变成黑色了。

太阳沉进了山头，漂亮的彩云也不见了。漫长的黑夜来临了……

几片肆意飘荡的“金蝴蝶”在夕阳的照耀下愈发灿烂，可同在夕阳下的我却是无比的后悔……

秋风萧萧的两点钟，我开始洗脸、更衣、化妆。乘上汽车，朝着赛场出发!透过车窗，几片细长而枯黄的柳叶儿在风中打卷儿。今天是进入全国比赛的初赛，只有一、二等奖才能晋级。我一边练习着稿子，一边做着些手势。

不久后，到了赛扬。我坐在最后一排，依然背诵着稿子。可有一段却忘记了，不过我当时想：到了台上就能想起来了吧所以没放在心上。

“号选手……”到我了，我手持话简，大步走上舞台。“评委老师好，大家好，我是………”我自信地说着，毫不怯场。一切都井然有序地进行着，评委也露出了笑容，可就在这时，在台下记不起的那段词直到现在还没有想起，正当我想“跳词”换段时，接下来的词竟都想不起了!我支支吾吾地说着几句“零星碎语”，急得手心的汗都沾上了话筒上。时间仿佛静止了，我的身上聚集着场上所有人的目光，评委的眉头也渐渐皱起，猛然间，我像独自面对着大海，耳边只有海风微起，海鸥啾鸣的声音。场下有人开始叽叽喳喳地说些什么，仿佛一个浪头向我扑来，我猛地惊醒了。终于想起稿子的我慌忙继续朗诵，可心中却早己明白：分数高不了了。

下了台的我无比地后悔，仅仅看一眼稿子就可避免的事如今却已不由我了。回到座位上，静待结果，却已不抱有希望。“×二等奖”什么二等奖

呼!还好，晋级了，可绞幸中却依然夹带着几丝纤悔……

今天，再望望头项的夕阳，不禁回忆起这件往事……我真后悔啊!
