Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. 到我们了，我们踏者整齐的步伐进入比赛场，排成口字少一横，而底下又多一横。“立定！”随着主持人的一声令下，全班立刻停下脚步。主持人走了出来，站在我们的正前方。“各小队整理队伍，报告人数”主持人发出强有力的命令。前两小队的表现都很棒，该我们了，只见我们队的小队长小跑到我们斜前方，发出指令：“稍息，立正，向右看齐，向前看，报数！”我们一丝不苟的完成了动作，立正时向松树一样挺拔，报数时铿锵有力，小队长向主持人报告人数发，他们的动作十分规范，像受过专业训练一样，接下来是出旗，我们把手高高举过头顶，一动也不动。唱队歌时，节拍和歌词都唱对了，非常好。然后就是呼号了，旗手把队旗举到正前方，两个副旗手走上去，各抓住队旗的一角，老师走到队旗前，把手放在离耳朵几厘米的地方，我们也把手放好。“准备着，为共产主义事业而奋斗！”我们强有力的回答着：“时刻准备着！”我们说完把手放下。接着是退旗。旗手和副旗手绕场一周后回到第二小队后面。该退场了，我们四队并两队，还是踏着整齐的步伐，回教室了。

同学们一路说笑着。一点不在乎结果。对于同学来说，最关键的是过程，只要过程有意义，结果又算得了什么呢？

这次的队仪式比赛既庞大又雄伟，可见校方多重视这次比赛，身为少先队员，应当知道少先队的礼仪，这才算真正的少先队员。
