万圣节前夜，顾名思义，就是仅一个晚上的节日。在一年中的这一夜，孩子们的心灵充满了单纯的梦幻奇境。他们是节日的主人，而父母或其他大人只能起陪衬作用。在老师和商人的鼓励下，在前一年欢度万圣节前夜的美好回忆的诱惑下，孩子们(3至11岁)几星期前便开始准备服装和节日装饰了。虽然家长往往都要帮助孩子们准备服装，但在节日那晚，他们一定要装出一副被突然出现的带面具的鬼怪吓着了的样子。那时，会有穿着黑色长袍、戴着尖尖高帽子的小巫婆出现，她们乘着神扫帚飞过屋顶，飞到临街邻居的屋顶上；还会有披着床单的鬼怪出现，他们边跑边露着帆布鞋和短袜子；还有那可怕的海盗，他们戴着绘有骸髅及交叉的大腿骨的三角帽。有的孩子手提用南瓜刻成的人面形灯笼，但每个孩子都手拿着袋子或联合国儿童基金会发的盒子，上面写着：“不给糖，要倒霉。”很快，这些袋子、盒子里便都装满了糖果。

每天我们重复着自己该做的事情，有些人不禁抱怨，希望可以去寻求刺激，然而当危险真正来临时，你真的能受得了吗？

2012只是一个谣言，然而人类的行为却足以自己创造末日。人类不断开采地球本身的资源，不断地捕猎，不断地开垦土地毁坏植物，已经使地球遭到严重破坏。然而人类并没有因此而觉悟，反而越来越过分。

有一句广告词“没有买卖，就没有杀害”。人类不断的屠杀动物，毁坏植物。但如果有一天动植物都灭亡了，人类还能活多久呢？每一次的自然灾害，真的是天灾吗？我觉得更像是人为的！如果不破坏植被，又怎么会有频繁的泥石流？！又怎么会有沙尘暴？恩格斯说过：“我们不要过分陶醉于我们对自然界的胜利，对于没一次这样的胜利，自然界都会对我们给予报复。”每一次的天灾，都是人类的利益熏心所导致，是人类的贪婪所导致了报复，这不完全是人类咎由自取吗？

人类的破坏并不是近代，在很久以前人类就一直在破坏生态环境。曾看过一篇报道，证实了澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚岛上巨型袋鼠和有袋犀牛，有袋豹在早期人类出现之前仍漫游在岛屿上。该发现证明了塔斯马尼亚岛上大型史前动物的灭绝是由于人类打猎导致的，而并非是由于天气恶劣所形成的灭绝。

曾经有人说“如果全中国的人给我一元，我就可以发财了。”的确，一粒纽扣电池可以污染60万升水，中国一共有14亿人口，如果每个人扔一粒电池到水中，就会污染到84万亿的水，而地球一共只有140亿亿升水，可见人们日常的生活习惯影响之大。

大自然的报复正向我们一步步逼近，大自然的报复是无法抵御的。所以我们应该从现在做起，从自己做起来保护环境。顺应时代发展，我们最先做到的就是低碳生活。我们要做到尽可能的步行外出，或者骑自行车，减少二氧化碳排放量。我们也要学会节电，将手机的亮度调低点，将空调温度调高一度。这些细小的动作对我们来说非常简单，然而日积月累，它们就有可能可以改变我们的命运。
