The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted; we have no clean water to drink. Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less. Peoples health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, we need protect our world.

We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. We want to recycle, reduce, reuse things .Don’t waste things. This saves money and reduces pollution. Use things for as long as possible. We don’t use plastic bags. We must plant more trees and stop the people cutting them .We hope our worldbecomes more and more beautiful.

As is known to all, waste on campus has become a more and more serious problem. We can easily see many students dump a lot of food in the garbage can. Some students spend thousands of yuan buying fashionable clothes and so on.

The negative effects of waste can be shown in the following aspects. In the first place, it makes some students dependent on their parents for money, which is harmful to their development.

If they don’t learn to support themselves, they will be “useless people” when they graduate. In the second place, it is not easy for our parents to arrange for our schooling. Last but not the least important, there is no denying the fact that our country is still poor. There are many people who cannot go to university and many poor people still need our help.

As far as I am concerned, I should set a good example to reduce waste on campus. First of all, I will refrain from wasting anything, from food to stationery. 6月5日是世界环境日，美利达自行车鲅鱼圈自行车运动协会组织成员们积极宣传环保，为保护环境出力。

美利达自行车鲅鱼圈自行车运动协会成立于09年7月20号，起初只有十几个人，发展到现在，注册会员有800多人，没有注册的骑行的爱好者还有1000多人。成员们不仅热爱骑行，而且积极利用业余时间从事公益活动，多次去孤儿院看望孤寡老人，并定期自发到区内景区捡拾垃圾。

活动中，来自美利达自行车鲅鱼圈自行车运动协会的120余人身穿印有“低碳环保 绿色出行”的运动服装，从红海新区美利达自行车车行出发，沿着鲅鱼圈主街路骑行，用行动积极宣传低碳环保的生活方式。

骑行活动结束后，鲅鱼圈自行车运动协会的成员们还来到碧霞山公园，捡拾公园内的垃圾，并统一放在自备的垃圾袋中。

希望通过骑行和捡垃圾的方式宣传环保理念，也将继续推广骑行这项运动，让更多的人能够爱上骑行，选择低碳出行。

We want to hold a green Olympic Games ,so everyone should do something useful to protect the environment ,whether it is big or small.

我们要举办一个绿色奥运，每个人都应该做些无论是大或小的有用的事来保护环境。

We should do something to stop people from doing bad things to the environment .We should put rubbish into dustbins instead of throwing it about. Everyone must care for flowers ,grass and tress in public .We shound collect things like paper ,plastic bags our neighborhood as well ,it’s necessary to plant more trees every year .

我们应该做些什么来阻止人们对环境做一些不好的事情。我们应该把垃圾放进垃圾箱而不是直接扔了，每个人都必须爱护公共场所的花，草，树木。我们应该收集社区的一些像纸，塑料袋的东西，每年种植更多的树是必要的。

为了提高小区内居民的环境保护意识，加快城市生活垃圾减量化、资源化、无害化进程，贯彻党的群众路线教育实践活动，海德社区党支部、居委会在6月5日世界环境日来临之际，在小区内为社区居民开展“为黑色垃圾找个家”世界环境日宣传活动。

6月4日下午，社区主任带队，全体工作人员在小区主干道上、居民楼内，利用发放宣传资料的那种图文并茂的形式，为居民们普及有毒有害垃圾的知识。除了这种发放宣传材料的形式，工作人员还利用各楼道宣传栏张贴科学的数据给居民普及这些垃圾对环境的危害性，比如一节一号电池烂在地里，能使1平方米的土壤永久失去利用价值，一粒纽扣电池可使600吨水受到污染，相当于一个人一生的饮水量等等。

居民胡女士在听了社区工作人员通俗易懂的讲解后，立马和孩子回到把家里的废旧灯管与电池放到小区集中收集有毒有害垃圾的垃圾桶内，并表示为了大家共同的绿色生态环境，以后宁愿多走几步路也要把有毒有害垃圾与生活垃圾分类处理，不能把我们子孙后代的环境资源全给污染了，在约束自己的同时还言传身教，教育自己孩子，让他们从小养成垃圾分类的好习惯，为保护生活环境出一份力。

社区党支部、居委会通过开展此次垃圾分类宣传教育活动，加强引导小区居民对有毒有害垃圾的深刻认识，让绿色、低碳、节约的环保理念更加深入人心，倡导社区居民齐心协力，人人自觉做到有毒有害垃圾正确处理，共同营造一个绿色的海德家园。

在现实生活中，有许多不文明的人，不管是大人还是小孩，都会这样。

有这样一则漫画，不知道你看没看过：在一个炎热的夏天，有一个小孩穿着一件浅蓝色的衣服，在山上一直跑来跑去，而且吃完东西还随便乱扔。正当这时，看见一位环卫工人一直打扫这个小孩是男生的所有垃圾。小孩的脸上露出开心、高兴的表情，而环卫工人的脸上却露出疲倦和无奈的表情，而小孩子却不理会这个环卫工人，还是一直边跑边扔垃圾。现在是炎热的夏天，穿的都是夏天的衣服，而环卫工人穿的是冬季或春季的衣服，不一会儿环卫工人累得满头大汗，衣服也被汗水浸湿了。

现在社会上这样乱扔垃圾，不讲文明的现象，特别多，比如：在风景区内立着一个牌子，写着不可以随便扔垃圾，而有的人就是觉得没有人发现扔在这里就算了。垃圾桶只有一步距离，这些人就是不想走这一步，在马路边，明明就有垃圾桶，他们就……

这些人们明明不是盲人，却假装看不见这些物体，并且不理会这些默默奉献的人，这些乱丢垃圾，不文明的人，什么时候才能“消失”？（指导老师：李纪伟）

With the quickly development in the economic field in nowadays,the resources on the earth get fewer and fewer. As we all know, the earth is the only home to everybody. So we can learnt from it is how important is the environment for our community. However, in order to protecting it,there is no doublt something must to be done with all of us.

First of all, in my opinion, I think as a member in the home of the unique earth, all of us should have the minds to construct a environmentally friendly society. so, I am appeal all of you to protect the environment together. And do what the little things near by you.

From June1, 2008, shops and supermarkets are forbidden from offering free plastic bags to customers, according to a new law. A nation-wide campaign against plastic bags has been launched.

Nowadays, Chinese people use up to three billion plastic bags a day. While being very convenient to shoppers, plastic bags also cause serious white pollution” and waste resources.

Though the ban may cause some inconvenience to shoppers, it can help reduce the use of plastic bags when people have to pay for them. Besides, the ban, in away, can promote public awareness of environmental protection.

So I think it necessary to forbid shops and supermarkets from offering free plastic bags. When shopping, we can use cloth bags or baskets instead of plastic bags as we used to.

People have been living on the Earth for thousands of years.Humanactivity influences the Earth. Some people believe that theEarth isbeing harmed by human activity. Others feel that humanactivitymakes the Earth a better place to live. In my opinion, theearth isbeing damaged by human activity. There are manystatementssupporting my opinion.

Human activity has damaged natural environment and almostexaustednatural resources. Modern industry needs more and moreresources,including minerals, fuels and water. So we confront ofthe seriousproblems such as the lack of fuels and water.Ecological balance isdamaged because factories occupy many placeswhere animals andplants live. Although we have advanced machines and our life seemsmorecomfortable than before, we have less chances to approachnaturesand less spaces to act. The cities become bigger and if wewant tohave a picnic with our friends, we have to drive a longdistance tofind a natural place. In fact, the spaces of humanactivity arebeing damaged by the skyscrapers and factories.

From the above statements, we can conclude that humanactivitybrings the Earth many damages. Fortunately people haverecognizedthe point and I believe that the Earth will become abetter placeto live with our ceaseless efforts.

Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence.

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things. There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall, delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result, traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out. What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of living in city.

Everyone can do something for our environment. For me, I should try to save electricity in my daily life. For example, if I am the last person leave the classroom in the evening, I will always remember to turn off the lights. In order to protect our forests, I will use paper wisely. I should try to use both sides of paper whenever it is possible. I will not use things like paper cups and disposable chopsticks because they are made of wood. I believe that doing all these small things will improve our environment and help make our world a better place to live in.

3、践踏草坪，乱摘花，采树叶，摇树苗。

4、随地吐痰，乱扔口香糖，乱丢垃圾。

5、不节约水电，光线好的晴天，教室里还亮着灯;有些同学洗完手没把水龙头拧紧，让大量的水白白流失。

6、乱扔废电池，对环境造成很大危害。

C组：(1)吃街头烧烤食物;(2)不酗酒、不吸烟;(3)吃变霉的食品;(4)随地吐痰、大小便;(5)折柳枝做花环;(6)常用“随身听”。

Mind Your Behavior in Public Places

Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of freshness and beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds singing. When I was enjoying the fantastic scenery around, something unpleasant caught my eye. A young couple in a boat were eating, talking and laughing loudly as if they were the only people in the world. Whats worse, they spat and even threw rubbish into the lake, totally ignoring the noticeable sign "No Littering" nearby. What a shame!
