The Convention also calls on Governments to protect women from second-hand tobacco smoke — especially in countries where women feel powerless to protect themselves and their children. As WHO data show, of the 430,000 adults who die each year from second-hand smoke, nearly two thirds are women.

Around the world, more than 1.5 million women die each year from tobacco use. Most of these deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries. Without concerted action, that number could rise to 2.5 million women by the year 2030.

We must turn back the global tobacco epidemic. On World No Tobacco Day, I urge all Governments to address this public health threat. Tobacco use is not stylish or empowering. It is ugly and deadly.

小狗的经历危险也有几次。第一次是掉进了河里，幸好被人发现拉了上来，喂给它吃药，不久就好了。还有几次是被毒狗的人毒了几次，幸好也被及早治疗，才得脱险了。从那以后，它就能嗅出那些食物有毒，哪些食物无毒。后来，我家的狗再也没中过毒。它够机灵吧!

我喜欢我家的小狗。我希望它永远伴随我左右，陪我快乐成长!

这几天，我又挤时间读了一本书，这本书是我最想看的书：《动物世界》!

这本书向我介绍了很多的野生动物的生活习性，捕猎技能，生存方式等等，从这本书里我知道了鳄鱼能把狮子拖下水去，将狮子活活溺死;猩猩用手打的速度比金钱豹跳跃的速度还要快!在这本书里最喜欢的动物是鬣狗，鬣狗长得像狗，但却是单独的鬣狗科。这是一种母系家族式的群居性动物，它的咬合力十分强大，仅次于鳄鱼，

虽然它们的个子很小，但是它们的牙齿跟刀一样锋利!它们的奔跑速度可达每小时50——60千米，而且能够跑很长的距离却没有倦意。它们一般群体生活。捕猎时鬣狗一起上阵，一只鬣狗锁定目标，跟接力赛一样把猎物追得的体力耗尽，再叫几只鬣狗在前方拦截，一口结果了猎物。鬣狗在群体生活的前提下，有相当大的自由，经常独来独往，单独狩猎，自己吃食。群体的成员往往不是长时间在一起。一旦它们重逢，又理所当然地以集体一员的身份行事，以此体现它们的社会合群性。

我非常欣赏鬣狗的团结协作精神，在动物界一只鬣狗并不强大，但是鬣狗群却可以赶走狮子我们都是这个世界的渺小个体，但是只要我们团结起来就可以改变世界。

我每次去动物园，我总是逆着人流，一进大门，就往左拐，去看望我最喜爱的大鸟-天鹅

星期天的早晨，我又和爸爸、妈妈一起去动物园。那天霞火初红，湖水平静一对天鹅在水面划过，他们拍打着宽大的翅膀，托出了红艳艳的朝阳。

天鹅长着一身雪白的羽毛，显得格外美丽。它们在湖面上娴静得、慢慢地游动着，那平静的湖面像一面明亮的大镜子，倒映出他们那高难度的身影，就像一对舞蹈队员在跳双人舞，使我不禁想谈一首天鹅舞曲，为他们伴奏。游了一儿，也许是累了，便进岸边休息了，树下的房子就是天鹅的家。在这美丽的绿色草坪上，他们静静的望着，远远望去，仿佛是一座雪雕。

我爱天鹅，天鹅是爱美的象征。许多文学家都写过天鹅的故事，好比安徒生爷爷写的童话......看到天鹅，我就仿佛进入了童话世界。

Everyone knows animals are our friends.So we should be friendly to them.But some people kill the rare animals,such as pandas,golden monkeys and so on in order to get money.It will cause these animals to disappear soon.I think our government should punish those people severely who kill the rare animals.It is our duty to protect the endangered animals.
