领导者与追随者的关系就如同明星与粉丝的关系，古往今来，但凡有名的管理者，其后都有一群追随者，正是这些追随者，才造就了伟大的领导者。没有追随者的领导是不合格的，作为一个追随者并不是什么丢人的事情，作为领导者也未必都是风光，没有人天生就是领导者，卓越的追随者才能成长为领导者。

领导者就是让别人干活，如何激发别人的工作激情，这是管理制度不能完全取代的，需要管理艺术来帮助。一个好的领导者，他既能带领团队完成一个个任务，还能收获部下的拥护，这样的领导身后必定有许多追随者，追随者不是简单的下属，他们认同领导的理念、佩服领导者的为人、拥护领导者的决定。拥有了一群追随者，就能打造一支钢铁般的团队，就能战无不胜攻无不克，但是，拥有追随者可不是一件容易的事情，对领导者有着很高的要求。

作为领导者，首先要能给下属带来安全，解除他们的后顾之忧，让他们无所牵挂地跟着你，这里的后顾之忧有来自物质、也有来自精神层面的;还要给下属提供机会，别人为什么要跟着你干?你不能让人白干，给予任务的同时还要给予发展的机会，让他们觉得工作是为自己，积极性自然就上去了;三是要给予下属认可，让他们明白自己的价值，给下属机会的最好办法就是表扬，在各种场合予以肯定，尤其要在领导面前肯定下属，这样既让下属满意，还能让领导对你满意;四是要给予下属帮助，适时的帮助有助于下属提升自己的能力，同时提高对你的感激之情;五是要建立公平和谐的氛围，一个团队不能有内讧，挑动一派斗另一派的行为极其愚蠢，不但消耗了团队的战斗力，也种下了分裂的种子，而团结的氛围来自领导者的公平;六是要宽容对待下属，领导者越是包容下属，下属就越死心塌地，要容许下属犯错，但是，宽容不是纵容，宽容是在公平的原则性下对下属的理解与尊重。当一个领导者能够做到上面六点，他必定是个肯于担当、为人着想的人，也就一定能够收获越来越多的追随者。

从追随者到领导者是一个不断学习、不断提升的过程。每个人的学习都是从模仿开始，追随着领导，自然是受到领导者行事风格的影响，模仿、学习领导者身上的特质，逐步形成追随者自己的特点，当追随者逐渐成熟时，领导者会把其手中的部分权力委托给他，让他成为一个小的领导者，培养他向合格的领导者蜕变。领导者有时候还是其他领导者的追随者，跟随着比他更强的领导者。因此，没有绝对的领导者，人人都是从追随者向领导者进步着。

跟随者之所以跟随，那是因为领导者、跟随者与组织之间有着共同的愿景目标，跟随者和领导者都会遵守组织的规则，领导者通过对组织的忠诚奉献、对下属的关爱来赢得别人的追随。如果因为个人私利、或者趣味相投而走到一起，那就不是领导者与追随者的关系，而是小集体、小圈子，热衷于构建小团体、小圈子的领导不是好领导，他们缺乏宽阔的胸怀、缺乏对组织的忠诚、缺乏原则性。

选择一个值得尊敬的领导者，踏踏实实做好一个追随者，努力学习、不断积累，才能成为一个有魅力的领导者，才能充分调动大家的积极性，在高效完成组织目标的同时，实现领导者与跟随者各自的人生价值。
