要回家的路上，姐姐为我买了一些首饰，等我回到家的时候，没想到，二姑她全家人都来了，而且还买了许多我喜欢的水果，二姑的两个孩子一起叫我和姐姐陪他们一块下去，我是刚上来的，有些累了，所以我没跟他们下去。

当然，那他们有什么趣事，我也不晓得，家里就剩下我和堂姐咯!堂姐这就去打开电脑，上网了。我跑到客厅，打开电视，看我最喜欢的连续剧《绝色双娇》。后来，二姑一家人走后，家里就只剩下奶奶、姐姐、弟弟还有我和堂姐，但过了不久，妈妈也买了许多水果来，全家笑坏了肚子，嘻嘻!我想，现在，家里的水果不怕没得吃，只怕吃不完啊!

这个暑期爸爸给我报名去学游泳，他说学会游泳既能锻炼好身体又是能作为保护自身安全的本领。一举多得受益匪浅的好事。

培训期为15天，今天是我培训的第十一天，时间过了大半，我学的成绩还算显著，从一个见到水就怕的岸鸭子开始，现在可以在水里漂了，说来学游泳还真有巧门，一开始教练就是要我们在水里泡，要我们不怕水接着就是要我把头浸在水里练习迫气，这个动作够难，我浸了几秒钟就受不了，教练说主要是我的心理压力大，“怕是当头”一边与我说一边让我自然的把头浸在水里，还轻轻的拍着我的背给我记着数，一秒二秒三秒……就这样我的胆子大了。教练拉着我的手让我身体伸展两手向前，我就能自己漂浮在水上了，那感觉真是美极了。害怕的感觉就没了。

不过要真的掌握游泳要领还要下功夫，呼吸得用嘴，手脚动作要协调，教练指着那些在水里瞎折腾的小学员说，他们这样学是浪费时间，你们要记住要领手脚要协调，手向后划水要用力，双脚打水速度要均匀，换气要自然，要用心体会，当然最重要的是反复练习，光说不练是纸上谈兵。

我要抓紧最后的几天时间，争取能自己游上15米到那时……哈哈，我该多高兴!

端午节是汉族的传统节日。在我们的家乡算得上是个特别重要的节日，所以每年的端午节都过得异常热闹。

端午节最不可少的，自然是粽子，每年端午节外婆和大家都会包上几百个大粽子呢!包粽子虽然有很多种，比如芦苇叶、竹笋叶、菰叶、藕叶等。但我们的家乡是芦苇比较多，所以大多都用芦苇叶包了。首先，外婆“率兵”去采芦苇叶。采芦苇叶时，一大家子听着外婆的劳动号子：“加油!一个粽子三片叶子!上百个粽子几千片，嘿哟，加油!”听了“将军”的鼓劲，“小兵”们更加卖力了!采完芦苇叶，现在只要将它们暴晒就行了。但准备材料可没有这么简单哟，还得去集市上买来上好的红豆、猪肉、花生、板粟、蜜枣与糯米，还要买红线呢!

当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

动物园是我儿时最喜欢去的地方，在那里可以看到许多可爱的动物。听人介绍，上海野生动物园是中国首座国家级野生动物园。园内里汇集着世界各地具有代表性的动物和珍稀动物。今天，妈妈将带我和妹妹一起去上海野生动物园游玩，一路上我和妹妹兴奋不已。

一进动物园，哇!动物园可真大啊!我们先坐着大巴车，驶进了车入区。首先映入我们眼帘便是七个大字，“食草动物放养区”，在食草动物区里我看到许多食草动物有：羚羊、梅花鹿、驼羊、骆驼、长劲鹿、犀牛、孔雀、牛马……它们正在津津有味地吃草，一见我们来了，不时地抬起头看看我们，好像对我们这些游客也很新奇。接着汽车驶进了食肉动物区，我们先看到了猎豹

，只见那些猎豹个个威风凛凛，身穿一件黑大袍，悠闲自在的躺在石头上休息。除了猎豹还有其它食肉猛兽如：非洲狮、黑熊、白虎……真令我大开眼界。

游完车行区后，我们来到了步行区。步行区的动物也很多，有：狮虎兽、扬子鳄、马来熊、企鹅……在步行区，游客们还可以和动物们来一次零距离的接触，如：和鹦鹉拍照、骑大象、喂鸟儿吃食等等。妈妈叫我去骑大象，但大象实在是太高大了，胆小的我不敢去骑，最后我选择了和妹妹去骑马，同样也很有趣!我们还观看了好几场动物们的表演，其中最有趣的要数海狮投篮表演了。只见海狮用嘴托着球，将球一顶，把球顶入了篮筐，顿时游客们发出如雷般的掌声，太精彩了。

游完整个动物园后，我们来到了园内纪念品馆。我平时最喜欢的动物是孟加拉虎，妈妈就买了一个孟加拉虎的毛绒玩具给我作纪念，我非常开心。

时间过得真快，我们的动物园之旅结束了。上海野生动物园是一个精彩的动物世界，它让我大开眼界，同时也增长了许多的知识，我喜欢这里。

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

在暑假期间，我又读了美国文坛作家格丽特·米切尔的长篇小说——飘，本书获得了1937年的普利策新闻奖，更是作者花费10年之久写出的经典，也是作者一部长篇小说，由本书改编的电影《乱世佳人》，在1939年上映后，获得了12项奥斯卡大奖。这是一部了不起的作品。

本书主要讲述了美国南北战争的前后，种植园主女儿斯嘉丽的爱情故事，本书情节变化较大，常有一些令人出乎意料的事件发生，并且融入了许多真实的历史事件，其中我有两个感触很深的情节。第一是斯嘉丽的父亲杰拉尔德老先生，骑着马在那扯着嗓门高唱，并且骑到另一头想跳篱笆，还对已逝去的妻子爱伦说：“爱伦，看我跳篱笆，”之后就倒地而亡，而在这之后，斯嘉丽的女儿美丽决定骑马跳更高的栏杆时，她大喊：妈，你瞧我的，这句话是斯嘉丽仿佛听见了马啼声与跟美丽相象的声音，爱伦，你瞧我的，但已经太晚了，美丽死了。

我觉得这本书成功的将南方人当时的生活状况体现出来，常常有许多充满爱的悲剧发生，如梅兰妮死时的嘱咐、杰拉尔德老先生死前的话语、美丽死前的快乐时光，让我很惊讶女主的坚强，虽有的惨状发生，但情节总是往好的方向走，让人联想起结尾的那句话，明天我会想个办法把他弄回来，必竟明天又是新的一天呢，正如白瑞德所说的，我们都在阴沟里，等着有人要望星空。

今天，我和妈妈在外婆家过周末，舅母买回了面粉，决定包三凌饺。一家之主的外婆配好的水，由力大如牛的阿舅和面，只见一团面被揉得又软又圆，舅母把一些面粉洒在桌子上，还把面团来回翻了两下，以免粘在桌子上。接着舅母用个小碗圈出一个又一个的面圈，这样做三凌角的皮就做成了。

外婆往面圈上放了些椰子丝做成馅，然后捏成三个角。这就是三凌饺。

看着一个个包好的三凌饺，我馋得口水直流。我问外婆什么时候才可以吃，外婆说要放火蒸30分钟后才可以吃。

好不容易等到三凌饺出笼了，我顾不上烫，抓起一块就往嘴里塞，味道还不错，香喷喷的。

我在外婆家度过了一个愉快的周末!

今天晚上，爷爷奶奶叫我和表姐一起去公园玩，我和表姐一起回答：“好！我们现在就出发吧！”奶奶说：“你们要带上滑冰鞋。”我们连忙去拿滑冰鞋了。

到了公园我和表姐穿上滑冰鞋，开始滑了，奶奶叫我们滑五圈，开始了，忽然，表姐摔了一跤，我趁表姐还没起来，就赶紧滑过去。我心想：表姐还没起来，我快点滑，这样我就多滑一圈了！我还没滑到一圈，表姐就站起来了，那速度超级快，五秒钟就超过了我。之后奶奶叫我们去湖边滑五圈，就一起开心心的回去了。

I had a busy summer vacation. I did my homework every day . I went to the library to borrow some books and went to the shops to buy some books and I read books almost every day .I did sports such as playing table tennis, swimming and so on. As we all realized that every one of us will fail during our life. Take me

for an example, I fail in my exam. In fact, failure always does appear, which

also means that failure is a daily occurrence, however, when facing the failure,

different people have different attitudes.

Some people hold the view that failure is the meaning whenever they could

not be successful. Thus, if meeting with failure, they will feel so nervous that

they have no idea what they are supposed to do. As time goes by, they become

On the contrary, there are some people tending to believe another idea.

From their point of view, failure is outstanding due to the fact that it can

give them plenty of encouragement. Therefore, if facing failure, they will be

dream come true.

From my perspective, failure is neither an excellent thing nor an

appreciating thing. Sometimes, it is capable to offer us with encouragement,

however, it can also make us unconfident now and then. Thus, if encountering the

failure, never could we be scared. What we should do is to face it bravely and

never give up.

In summary, I wish when failure appears, each one of us could confront with

it bravely and beat it, if possible.

转眼间，烈日炎炎的夏天来到了我们身边。对于小孩子来说，夏天最快乐的事情莫非就是在泳池里和亲朋好友们玩耍。

今天是个好天气，阳光明媚，普照大地，一束阳光射向枝头，树下稀稀散散地洒落着满地灿烂的阳光，鸟儿在枝头叽叽喳喳地快乐嬉戏。我带上泳镜、泳衣，哼着“太阳当空照，花儿对我笑……”的小曲，在和朋友约定的地点集合，一同向游泳池前进。

到了泳池，我迅速换好泳衣，一路小跑到深水区，慢慢吞吞地伸下一只脚，哇!水是温的，我小心翼翼地踩着梯子一步一步地下水。下水后我的第一感受——这水好似在泡温泉。“哗”的一声，我的身后传来了一阵“狂风暴雨”，我回头一看，胭胭一脸坏笑，肯定是这个小鬼搞得，我不由分说，捧起一把水，向胭胭泼去，胭胭淋成了“落汤鸡”，咬牙切齿地捧起一把水径直向我泼去。我反应敏捷，一下躲过了袭击。胭胭不服气，要跟我比游泳——看谁游得快!“1，2，3，开始!”我飞快地向对岸游去，呀!不好，胭胭要了，“心急吃不了热豆腐”，我稳住气，掌握要领，终于撵上了胭胭，胭胭一看不妙，也迅速往前游，我们俩不相上下，最后终于打平了!

比赛完游泳，我们又去玩滑梯，我屏住呼吸，向下滑去，速度真快啊!耳边的风呼呼划过，只听“扑通”一声，掀起一阵阵水花，到终点了!

这次是我暑假的第一次游泳，感觉真爽啊!

I saw your advertisement for "the perfect lighter" in Sunday Times last week and immediately sent off a ￡2 postal order and the completed form for the lighter.

Imagine my surprise when all I got in return was a box of matches! I could understand a mistake. I might even pardon a joke. But in this case, your advertisement is a deliberate lie since a friend of mine who also sent the coupon got the same result.

暑假快要接近尾声了，在这个假期中，妈妈给我报了舞蹈和电子琴培训班，还带我去长岛游玩。

让我记忆最深刻的是去长岛，坐客车到蓬莱后，我们就坐船到长岛，我们坐的是映华7号大货船。这艘船非常得大，它有两层船舱，底下载货，上层载客。船舱我是呆不住的，我兴奋地跑到甲板上，看大海。这是我第一次看大海，展现在眼前的是大海无边无际，海水清澈，天空瓦蓝，海鸥在海面上自由飞翔。我的心胸开阔了许多，眼界也开了。我从船头走到船尾，看船激起的浪花，点点浪花像无数颗小珍珠，晶莹透亮；还像无数粒小碎冰，洁白剔透。我真想抓一粒，但我又抓不到。大海真美啊！我总也看不够。

到长岛了，我们去的第一个地方是九丈崖，它的高是六十多米，岩石陡峭；去的第二个地方是月牙湾，我们在海边捡鹅卵石，玩水，游泳；第三个地方是望夫礁，我们在海边捉小鱼，小螃蟹，摘海草。海边充满了我们的欢声笑语。

学电子琴让我学会了五线谱，还让我认识了新的老师和同学；练舞蹈让我明白了“贵在坚持，难在坚持，成在坚持”的道理。

这个暑假虽然天很热，我很累，但我充实又快乐。

两个月的暑假生活在不知不觉中，即将结束了。我静静的坐在写字台前，回想起了暑假里发生的一件件事情，思绪万分。

在暑假里，我跟着妈妈学习了干家务、烧饭、洗菜切菜……在这些事情中，我体会到了做父母的劳累与辛苦，让我懂得了当爹娘的不容易。我要反复再反复的练习，把这些都练得得心应手，为爸爸妈妈减轻负担。

假期里，我还报考了20__年绍兴地区七级的钢琴考试。这段时间里，我坚持不懈，不断的反复练习，有时我会得到父母和老师的称赞，心里美滋滋的;有时我也会得到他们的批评与指教，眼泪也不知流了多少，心里也不知怨恨了多少。俗话说的好：阳光总在风雨后。经过这些酸甜苦辣，“风风雨雨”，这次考试我得到了老师肯定，虽然成绩还没有公布，但我自信，我一定成功!

假期里我还学会了游泳，从一个旱鸭子变成了一条灵活多变的“美男鱼”。

在这些日子里，我学了很多，也玩了很多，收获也不小。

我的暑假生活真是完美而又充实!

First, we have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon. We have to get to school before 7:30 because we have a morning class.

Second, I like my school life because teachers and my classmates are friendly and helpful. We also have lots of after-school activies.

Third, our school environment is very beautiful, the teachers all can make their lesson interesting and instructive. So I like my school life very much.

我的学校生活是忙碌的，神奇的。首先，我们有四节课在上午和下午三。我们到学校7:30之前因为我们早上有课。其次，我喜欢我的学校生活，因为老师和我的同学都很友好，乐于助人。我们也有很多的课外活动。第三、我们的学校环境很漂亮，老师们都能使自己的课有趣又有启发性。所以我非常喜欢我的学校生活。

暑假到了，我有一些自己的`打算。

我的打算是：我先把暑假作业完全写完，才能开开心心的玩耍。我的第二个打算是去旅游，爸爸妈妈说：如果期末考得好，我们就带你去美国玩几天。我不知道美国有什么可以参观的地方，所以我特别开心，我也不知道爸爸妈妈会不会带我去吃美国的特产？会不会给我买一点买一点美国的玩具？我也不知道美国人吃什么？也不知道美国的饭菜是什么味道？我也不知道美国的玩具质量好不好？我也不知道爸爸妈妈会不会带我去美国的纽约玩？我也不知道美国的房子高不高、大不大、漂亮不漂亮？我也不知道美国人喜欢什么季节？我也不知道美国人喜欢什么天气？我也不知道美国人喜不喜欢看电视？

希望这个暑假我能过个快乐又充足的暑假。
