Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the

ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.

Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

期中考试已经结束了，这次考试是对于不少刚刚接触英语的初一新生而言是一次重要的考试，是全面衡量学生这段时间学习情况的一次考试。下面我主要从以下几个方面来分析：

一、考试质量分析

1.试题方面

就整个试题而言，考点分布均匀，覆盖面广，考题难度适中，大部分试题能够体现目前注重基础、体现能力的考试命题要求。

2.试卷方面

本次考试题型，分为听力部分、辨音、单项选择、阅读理解、完形填空，词汇运用，阅读表达，翻译句子和写作几个大部分，各部分难易程度不同。大部分题都比较基础，和平时的练习比较起来相对集中一些，更能反映出学生在这一阶段学习中的问题。

此次英语考试的听力部分，内容为与日常教学相关的材料，与所学教材难度相当，较为简单。朗读速度适中，对平日教学的听力训练有着良好的导向作用。但在第一节中还是有部分学生容易犯书写不规范的错误，也有些学生“g”、“j”不分，“r”、“l”混淆，因而造成较多失分。这学期对学生在听力方面的练习不是很多，除了在课堂上少量练习外，平时课下学生几乎得不到练习。

单项选择，突出了课本和平常练习中较基础的知识，学生训练较多，此部分得分较好。

二、分析原因

教师方面的原因：

这段时间由于课时多，时间紧，因此对学生部分知识掌握情况的落实不够，这也是这次考试成绩不高的原因之一。从这次考试中应该吸取这样的教训。在以后的英语教学中，加大管理力度，提高学生在课堂上的学习效率。

学生方面的原因：

1.部分学生的基础知识不够扎实，且大部分学生毫无学习习惯而言，记忆知识极难，遗忘知识快，过去滚瓜烂熟的东西一段时间不用就忘了。

2.学生的应变能力有待提高，不能正确写出单词的正确形式。

三、今后采取的措施

抓好单词、词组过关，狠抓知识落实。在进行单词和词组教学时，首先让学生读准音，然后反复读单词和词组，并找出同义词、反义词、类似用法的词一起记。在进行句型时，以小组合作等方式举一反三，反复练习课堂上学习的句型。平时督促学生多听录音磁带，一星期集中训练两次听力，在培养学生的听力技巧和听力能力上多下功夫，提高他们的听力能力和听力技巧。

The qingming (Pure Brightness) Festival is one of the 24 seasonal division points in China, falling on April 4-6 each year. After the festival, the temperature will rise up and rainfall increases. People love to fly kites during the qingming Festival. Kite flying is actually not limited to the qingming Festival. Its uniqueness lies in that people fly kites not during the day, but also at night. A string of little lanterns tied onto the kite or the thread look like shining stars, and therefore, are called "gods lanterns."

The qingming Festival is also a time to plant trees, for the survival rate of saplings is high and trees grow fast later. In the past, the qingming Festival was called "Arbor Day". But since 1979, "Arbor Day" was settled as March 12 according to the Gregorian calendar.

我叫解钦，每当人们听到我的名字时都以为我是一个活泼、调皮的小小子，其实我是个活泼，有个性的小女生。

我长得还算漂亮，弯弯的柳叶眉，一双不大不小的眼睛，小巧玲珑的鼻子，樱桃似的小嘴，都是些不起眼的，但摆放在一起，却构成了一张秀美的脸，最有趣的就是那两条细长小辫子，走路时，它也有节奏的摆动着。别人都说我长得像妈妈，还有人说我比妈妈还漂亮，但在我的心目中，妈妈是世界上最美的。
