我的外公今年已六十有三了，他身体微胖，头发花白。苍老、布满皱纹、饱经风霜的脸上有着一双慈祥和善的眼睛。外公的手摸上去就象松树皮一样，十分粗糙，每次见到我都会用他那双粗糙的手慈爱地摸摸我的头。

我的外公非常勤劳。外公以前是一名锅炉工，现在退休了，应该在家颐养天年，好好享福才对，但外公不甘寂寞，非要找点儿事儿做，他又去找了一份工作做。爸爸妈妈见他年纪大了，一直劝他别干了，他说“再干一年就不干了”，可到时发现他反悔了，真拿他没辙了。
