For one thing, recycling textbooks can not only save natural resources such as wood, but also reduce the waste of material. Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

原本，地球是由一片片茂密树林和一望无际的大海组成的，动物们在树林里玩耍，鱼儿们在海洋里嬉戏。原本，大地母亲是幸福的。可是，由于人类的存在却让大地母亲苦不堪言：在无数次无节制的砍伐中导致了一次又一次的泥石流、沙尘暴、山洪暴发，让茂密的大深林变成了一望无际的金黄色的大沙漠。而我国的首都北京，每年都要经历数百次沙尘暴的侵蚀。如果人类再不保护环境，北京城就要被风沙给淹没了！

爸爸学完驾驶，拿照后准备买私家车，我们一定要合计合计，千万不要只图便宜去购买碳铅排量超标的汽车。我查阅了资料，现在的汽车尾气排量一定达到欧Ⅳ标准，而且到一定时期必须去年检，符合标准。能不使用汽车，可以用自行车、电瓶车代步。

植物可以吸收很多的二氧化碳释放很多氧气，还能防洪减灾。呼吁大家要多植树，节约用纸，不要滥砍滥伐。

每个家庭都像我们这样做出实际行动，低碳的生活将多么美好。
