This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills, such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students,the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

I went to summer camp on vacation. On the first day, we went to a beautiful beach. It was a sunny and hot day, so we went swimming. The water was warm and we had great fun. I still remember my first flight.

I took a flight in Beijing Airport. I got there early. I had my bag weighed first. After a while I began to get on the plane.

When I sat on the plane, Boeing 737, I fastened my seat belt. Then I looked out of the windows, seeing the ground running backwards. When the plane began to take off, I felt it interesting very much.

During about 2 hours’ flight, I saw a film and had a delicious meal. Then the plane began to get lower and I got to Xi’an safely.

However,as society develops,the environment where human beings live has changed a lot.Forests were destroyed and the area of farmland increased.Water was severely polluted.And mass production has resulted in the shortage of irreplaceable natural resources such as coal and oil.So if we take no effective actions to solve these problems,human beings will be the next species to be extinct.

So we should spare no effort to protect our environment,and what can we do?We can plant trees,take care of wildlife,reduce industrial waste and use renewable energy.And our government should make laws to protect our environment.Only in these ways,can we live a healthy life.

It was fine on March 12 ， 20xx . I got up early that day . All the students in our school went to the hill to plant trees .

We arrived at the hill at eight oclock . The teacher asked each of us to plant at least six trees . Then we started digging ， planting and watering . We all worked so hard that we could finish our tasks ahead of tim e . Among us ， Wang Lin ， our monitor set a good example for us . Though he was ill ， he worked harder . When he finished his task ， he went on to help others without even a little rest . He was wet all over after work .“ I must learn from him ，” I said to myself .
