It was Saturday， just before May Day. My classmates and I went to the park nearby， we didnt go there for amusement but took part in voluntary labor.

We got there at 9：00. We were divided into three groups and then began working. The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. The task for Group Two was collecting the litter left about by tourists and cleaning the benches. The group I was in got to the Childrens Playground and wiped all the equipment clean. When we talk about dreams, we are so excited, we have many dreams, such as

being a famous person, traveling around the world and so on.

Dreams are what we pursue for a lifetime, with many dreams, we have

motivation to fight for our life. The opposite side of dream is reality, we have

Most people has a sweet home, so have I. I think my home is sweet because

it is my best place to have rest or have fun with my friends or my parents.

三下乡第一天

7月6日这天，是值得纪念的一天，因为我们班二十多位同学一起去到__，开始了我们期待已久的暑期三下乡之旅。

我们的首站是__花园老年社区。之所以把这里定位第一站是因为我们认为现今社会最容易被忽视的就是老年人，特别是住在的社区和福利院的孤寡老人。一大早我们分队的成员们便到达了目的地，开始了今天的主题活动，“宣传环保知识，帮助社区做清洁”。

这里的老人十分和蔼友善，在我们集体宣讲环保常识的时候，也站到我们身边，仔细聆听，尽管有时候会听不太清或是听不太懂，但每一位老爷爷、老奶奶都十分配合，一听我们是暑期三下乡实践的大学生们，就个个竖起大拇指夸奖我们是好孩子，大热天还知道关心老人们，还来陪陪他们。

那一句句的称赞使我在高兴之余也深刻反省了自己作为一名大二学生对待社会实践的态度。以前也有过类似的机会，但我总是抱着完成任务的心态，走走形式，并没有全身心投入到活动中去，没有把它当做是一种责任，一项义务。但在今天，面对着这么多亲切的面庞，我感受到了他们对生活的热爱和对友情的珍惜。虽然年事已高，但他们那股努力融入这个社会的决心让我不得不佩服。

在宣传完环保知识后，我们还自发为社区打扫了清洁卫生。其实这里挺干净的，只有少许落叶和灰尘。在大家的齐心协力下，很快我们便完成了第一天的行程，并与社区的老人们合照留念。大家都觉得今天的活动十分充实又富有意义，很多同学还流下了不舍的眼泪。

我想，通过今天的实践活动，不仅锻炼了我们与老年人的沟通能力，增强了帮助弱势群体的意识，更让我们认识到这个社会需要像我们一样的大学生，在专注学习的同时，更要关注社会的弱小势力，用实际行动来表达自己的关心和爱心。

三下乡第二天

在第二天里，我们进行了“关爱留守儿童，共架爱心彩虹”的主题活动。活动形式主要是以走访和口头问答的方式，地点在__区步行街和三通街一带。

这一地带的居民告诉我们，__的留守儿童不算太多，但要是走在街上，也能看见一些老人带着还在呀呀学语的孩子。还有十多岁的留守儿童，父母在外打工，跟着爷爷奶奶过日子，得不到应有的教育，也享受不到应有的物质生活。

随后，我们小分队又召开了一个紧急会议，就留守儿童教育面临的难题进行了讨论。我们总结了以下三个方面：

1、没钱，缺少关爱、亲情缺失，因此大都表现出不快乐。

2、留守儿童普遍缺少善良之心、回报社会之心。

3、严重缺乏自信心，存在自卑心理。

但面对这样一些亟待解决的问题，社会的关注程度却远远不相称。当地人对留守儿童情况的了解有限，他们普遍认为留守儿童面临的主要问题是家庭生活、环境问题以及心理问题。

在活动结束之后，我们立即决定返校之后要为当地小朋友寄去礼物和书籍，并成立了爱心书屋。看着这些礼物，我们仿佛看到了孩子们脸上浮现出了灿烂的笑容，有了这些笑容，我们便觉得自己所做的是值得的，是幸福的。

但这仅仅是冰山一角，我们所做的也只不过是稍稍缓解了他们的教育问题，并不能从根本上改善这一难题。我们还能做的，是透过自己的相机，把这一现象和事实告之大众，让这些留守儿童得到更多关注，除了国家的基本补助之外，会有更过的社会爱心人士来帮助他们渡过难关。

三下乡第三天

今天，我们小分队来到了__区人民中医院，开始了第三天的下乡活动。医院里的人不算太多，但可能因为都急着看病拿药，秩序比较混乱，所以，我们决定帮助该医院维护就诊秩序，让医生们能更快看病，病人们也能更好地就诊。

由于医院需要安静的环境，因此我们的活动范围不宜过大，便分成了两组成员，第一小组负责楼下的挂号排队，第二小组负责二楼的排队取药。

通过我们的维护和时不时的帮助，果然，排队和取药的病人和家属都有序了很多，整个医院也少了很多争执和喧哗。还有同学看到有的病人行动不便，主动帮忙拿号取药，这些都让我十分感动。在家里，我们都是衣来伸手，饭来张口的小皇帝，但是在这里，这个没有空调的医院大厅，大家一心一意想的都是如何更好的维护好医院秩序，让病人们能高效看病，高校就诊。

然而，我也意识到，我们的这一举动也只是治标不治本，要想让更多的人远离疾病的困扰，仅仅是维护医院秩序是远远不够的，必须得大力宣传这一现象，同时有关部门要提高医疗保障制度的有效性，确保病有所医，国家也要进一步立定社会保障制度和医保的相关法律法规，真正做到关心病人，为病人办实事。

在活动结束之前，我们还采访了一位正在排队取药的病人家属，据他告诉我们，这家中医院每天的人流量很多，特别是周末和节假日，但大家都不注意排队有效地挂号取药，有时窗口那儿被围得里三层外三层，导致医务人员的办事效率无形降低很多。他表示十分感谢我们组织的这一活动，是真正地为病人着想的，也很赞同大学生多搞一些类似的活动，既锻炼了能力又看到了社会百态，不是“一心只读圣贤书，两耳不闻窗外事”的书呆子。

三下乡第四天

转眼已到了三下乡的最后一天，我们的活动也接近尾声。经过了昨天在中医院维护就诊秩序，我们决定离自己所能帮助医院的病人。

我们虽然不能与专业的医护人员相比，替病人打针、量血压等等，但是我们可以陪伴他们，让他们不感到孤单。

我和另一位同学还到一楼的病房里陪一位阿姨打点滴。在短暂的交谈中，我们知道阿姨患了流行性感冒，今天是第二天来打点滴。当阿姨得知我们是重庆师范大学三下乡的学生时，并没有感到惊讶或是路出欣赏的表情。可能是因为现在这种活动太多，活动的效果完全丧失，大多数人仅仅是抱着完成学校规定的任务而已。但通过进一步交流，我们表达了自己想为病人做些事情的想法，并且已在前一天在医院进行了维护秩序的活动之后，阿姨开始相信我们，言语中也露出一丝关切。她告诉我们，这种实践活动她见得多了，一般都是随便逛逛，露个脸，再拉几个人照照相就算完事。但向我们这种坐下来，花时间陪病人聊天的，还真的很少。我们随后也表示，我们以后会举行更多这样的活动，深入基层，和老百姓们用心交流，不会拘于形式，把三下乡的实践意义发挥出来。

最后，我们在医院门前合影留念，圆满完成了此次三下乡社会实践活动。大家的一张张笑脸，告诉我们这次活动是成功的，以后，我们需要更多这样的活动，让我们看到社会百态，关注社会焦点，为显著的社会问题贡献自己的力量。

Smoking And Health

Today smoking is a widespread habit ali over the world. Not only the old,

the youth, but also middle school students have been engaged in smoking. Many of

them think that smoking is a smart symbol.

However, smoking is harmful to one’s ,health. It contributes a lot of lung

cancer, from which many people have died in the past years. It can also cause

many other diseases. In a word, if you smoke, you do have a much greater chance

of losing your health. Furthermore, scientific research shows that smoking is

not only harmful to smokers themselves, but also a threat to public health,

especially to women and children. Therefore, many countries have made laws

forbidding smokers to smoke m public places such as cinemas, stations,

hospitals, and so on Giveup smoking! If you don’t smoke, don’t start. Give

upsmoking for the sake of your health, for the sake of your family, and for the

sake of the whole world.

现在，吸烟是一个世界范围的习惯，不仅老年人、青年人吸烟，就连中学生也加入到这个行列中来，他们中的许多人认为吸烟是一种潇洒的象征。

然而，吸烟对人的健康是有害的，它会引起肺癌，在刚刚过去的几年中;许多人因此而丧命，还可能引发其他的疾病。总之，如果你吸烟的话，你就很可能失去拥有健康的机会，更进一步说，科学研究显示，吸烟不仅危害吸烟者本人，而且对公共健康来说，也是一个凶兆，尤其是对妇女和孩子。因此，许多国家都制定了不准在公共场合吸烟的法规，例如：电影院，车站，医院等地。

戒烟吧，如果你还未染上，请不要开始;戒烟吧，为了你的健康，为了你的家庭的健康，为了整个世界的健康。

It was the second day of our summer holiday.

I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My

parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t

do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV.

Oh! I wrote an Englishdaily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have

slept for 14 hours.I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must

go! I am very hungry.
