Legend has it that there was once a monster named nian who often went to the village to harm people, eat cattle and sheep. So, people want to get rid of it. However, no matter what people do, they cant get rid of the year. In the end, a child accidentally lit the bamboo and made a crackling noise, and nian was scared away. People are happy. Later, people set off firecrackers on this day in order to commemorate the happy day. Later, it gradually became the "Spring Festival" festival.

I go back to my hometown every year. Every year, its very busy. On the eve of the New Year, it is also called New Years eve. Every family is affixed with spring couplet, affixed "fu" word. 除夕夜的夜晚，我们一家人坐在一起吃团圆饭，个个高高兴兴。随着一阵烟火声，我们也开始放起烟火，我们点好火以后，各自放射出不同的烟火：有的像直冲下来的的鹰，有的像闪闪发光的钻石，有的像奔跑的骏马，还有的像欢蹦乱跳的小鸟……烟火把天空染得姹紫嫣红。春节联欢晚会开始了，我们一家人坐在电视机旁津津有味地欣赏着丰富多彩的节目。接着，我们在12点钟声的倒计时中迎来了新年的第一天。

新年的第一天，家家户户的大门上都贴着春联，到处洋溢着喜气洋洋的气息。

为什么要贴春联、放烟火呢?原来这里面包含着一个故事：传说有一个叫年的怪物，每当过年时都要出来伤害人畜。后来有一位仙人告诉人们，年怕红色和响声，这样就有了放烟火、贴春联的习俗。

我最喜欢春节，喜欢春节的快乐和热闹。

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck.

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”. People enjoy the Spring Festival, during this time they can have a good rest.

快乐的暑假生活虽然结束了，但和小伙伴们放风筝的情景依然还浮现在眼前。

Waking up on New Year, everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper. People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new". Also, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.

Southern Chinese eat niangao (New Year cake made of glutinous rice flour) on this occasion, because as a homophone, niangao means "higher and higher, one year after another." The first five days after the Spring Festival are a good time for relatives, friends, and classmates as well as colleagues to exchange greetings, gifts and chat leisurely.

China has 56 ethnic groups. Minorities celebrate their Spring Festival almost the same day as the Han people, and they have different customs.

春节，在我心目中是啊么充满诱惑，那么有吸引力。我喜欢春节。现在，春节离我们越来越近了，我的心中十分开心。

再印象中，春节是既幸福又快乐的。记得往年春节，我穿着新衣服，与家人们欢聚一堂，大家一起有说有笑。很快，到了夜晚，我们坐在沙发上，把电视打开，以家人一起聚精会神地看着“春晚”;有时还会讨论一下哪个小品好看。其实，过春节最让我快乐的莫过于放鞭炮和收压岁钱了。每当过年前，大家都回去买些烟花爆竹，在夜晚时小心翼翼的点上火之后赶快跑。每当看到那一道道五彩缤纷的烟花把黑烟点缀得美不胜收;每当看到爆竹让寂静的黑夜热闹起来时，我心中有无限的感慨。当除夕夜那天，是小孩子最开心的日子了!因为我们可以收到长辈攥得热热的压岁钱，祝愿孩子在新的一年里顺顺利利、快快乐乐、平平安安。

春节很快就要来了，首先我要以好成绩回报父母;其次，要开开心心的过个好年，好好的吃喝玩乐;接着要从自己的压岁钱中，拿出一部分钱给父母买份礼物，报答他们的养育之恩……

更重要的是，我希望春节成为一个段落，也算是一个结束，结束过去的一年，眼望新的明天!

想到年夜饭，自然就会想到吃完饭12点时长辈们给的压岁钱了。这次我要自己支配好，不能在像以前那样乱用了。去年的压岁钱就是没管理好，最后一无所有。今年我得到了压岁钱后，要捐一部份给贫困山区的孩子，让他们也能读得起书。我还要把剩余的钱存入银行，一后就用这钱读大学，或者有其他急用时在取出来……

我盼望着春节快些到来，让我有机会享受亲情，享受快乐，让我有机会弥补我以前做得不好的事，今年我一定要过一个有意义的春节。
