Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

我的暑假是五彩缤纷的。最令我高兴的一件事是我的琵琶考过了七级！

那是7月23日。艳阳似火、天气非常的火热，我经过几个月的刻苦练习，终于可以去长沙考七级了！

清早，我穿着妈妈送我的民族风公主裙，和爸爸妈妈快快乐乐地出发去长沙考级，一路上欢声笑语，不一会儿就到了长沙考点，考级的小朋友特别多，候场室人山人海，很多小朋友还在练习考级曲目。

呆在家里做作业，不免觉得有些乏味，除了看看书或电视，陪着外公外婆打几副牌，寻开心。妈妈对我非常苛刻，时常在我耳边唠叨，定要让我复习语数英，说什么“马上毕业了，升初中还那么放松！”我只好乖乖认命，仅5天，就做完了作业的一半！惊人啊！我的暑假虽吁了口气，但还是“闭门自习”的，唉，倒霉！

B．学英语

刚开始放暑假，英语老师Mr.Huang就来了个“夜猫子”笑，准是没安好心，果然不出我所料，他又要让我去参加英语口语大赛。我好苦恼啊！暑假刚开始，就来了个冷门。7月13日，我去了英语大课堂，长一番见识，又胆大地用了一些英语“皮毛”跟那个美国人作了一番交流，令外校的人目瞪口呆。也让那个Mr.Hang沾了点光，还拿了一样纪念品——一把“破伞”，总算是没白跑！

C．游泳

游泳是我在夏日中必不可少的运动，在碧波里狠狠一个猛蹿，便会让那碧湛湛的、清凉的池水，凉便全身，浸透心田。虽说在游泳池里偶尔喝几口水，但在池里感觉还是很棒、很爽的！在炎热的夏，来几个狗爬式，几下蛙泳，有一种休闲时尚的感觉，夏天，如果没这个项目，老实说，我是没法活的！

D．开卷有益

暑假虽说是可以玩个“go”，却也不能太放松，如今已是知识爆炸的时代，“应该多看看书”，这是老妈说得最多的话。因为词语积累库存非常重要，多看世界名着、作文书，在看的同时，也可把好词好句印在脑里。我就有两个极端：第一是玩了不想看书，叫回来也没心思看了；第二是一来了兴致，就不分“昼夜”地看，有时真有点废寝忘食、悬梁刺股的味道，因为我时刻记着一些格言，像“读书破万卷，下毛如有神”、“书中有黄金屋”等等。

E．开心

“闭门”两天，就收到了表姐的“生日请柬”，我可开心了，晚上兴奋了一夜，哈！总算解放了。

第二天，我5点钟就起床，着“迷你服”开始了“生日Party”，今儿去吃“KFC”，可以大饱口福啦！到底是表姐，挺有风度的！我们点了6个汉堡，8杯可乐，8份土豆泥，8个冰淇淋，4块鸡块……狼吞虎咽的我们大吃特吃，一个个连路都走不动了……

这就是我的暑假，烦恼、开心、休闲的暑假生活。

these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring

Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can

eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most

people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our

friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal

in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

"Mom, watch me dive..." eh, where does the sound come from? It turned out

that my dream had come true and I was showing my swimming style with pride.

This summer vacation, I came to Caiyuan swimming pool happily to learn how

to swim. Its a piece of cake for me to hold my breath. If I hold my breath, I

can float on the water for a while. Then I began to seriously study breathing,

deep breathing, carefully bury my head in the water, spit bubbles like a small

fish, then lift my head out of the water, open my mouth to breathe in, then bury

let go, I was as timid as a mouse. I was afraid that I would sink down and dare

not swim. It was like a vented ball and a crab dancing in the water. At this

time, the coach said gently: "dont lose heart, overcome tension, everything is

difficult at the beginning, failure is the mother of success." I secretly

determined: do not give up halfway, adhere to the victory. After the coachs

encouragement and careful guidance, coupled with my 15 days of persistence,

repeated practice, "Kung Fu is worthy of those who want to", I finally learned

to swim. I can swim freely in the water like a happy fish, like a frog in the

water, like a petrel flying in the sky.

"As long as you work hard, you can grind an iron pestle into a needle!" Im

去图书馆看书

The weather of today is very comfortable, though the weather forecast said

上课的时候,我们讨论激烈,互相发表意见.有一次,我为了一个问题和同学吵架了,大家都各持己见,不能达成共识.后来,我们冷静地解决了问题,大家和好了.下课后,我和老师一起谈心,下棋,大家融洽相处,谈得不亦乐乎;饭后,同学们互相讲心事,解决问题,令我们的友谊之桥更加稳固.大家一起笑过,哭过,遇到困难时互相帮助.校运会时大家互相喝彩,互相加油,失败了的同学我们鼓励他,令他重拾信心,不再气馁.

校园生活多姿多彩,令我获益良多,领悟到学习的乐趣.
